The Jewish Genealogical Society of Rochester is proud to present a SPECIAL
PROGRAM on Wednesday evening August 14, 1996 at 7:30 PM in the JCC
Conference Room.

The topic will be "How to use Passenger and Customs Lists in Genealogical
Research".

We are fortunate to have Nancy Arbeiter as our guest speaker. Nancy is a
professional genealogist specializing in New England and Dutch Jewish
genealogical research. She has been on the Executive Board of the JGS of
Greater Boston since 1990 and has chaired their Annual Beginner's Workshops
since 1993. She has also served as a member of the Executive Board of the
Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies. Her articles have appeared in
"Avotaynu", and she has twice been featured on the front-page of Boston's
Jewish newspaper, "The Jewish Advocate".

This meeting will take place during the Federation of Genealogical Societies
conference which will be held August 14-17 at the Rochester Riverside
Convention Center. There will be approximately 1500 people at the FGS
conference, and we expect to have a number of out of town guests for the
JGSR meeting as well.

Come join us on the 14th!

All JGSR meetings are free and open to the public.
