Hello,

I'm doing research on my grandfather (Ben/Bennie Adelson, aka Baruch
Idelzik), who left Belarus in 1913, but got involved with socialists
in New York in 1916 and returned to Russia to support the revolutionary
cause in 1917. From what I can tell, he was back in Russia from mid-
late 1917 till 1919. Any ideas on how I might find out what he did
while he was back there? His family was from Igumen (later called
Chervyn), he spent much of his youth in Minsk, but in 1919 was
apparently going back and forth between Vladivostok and Yokohama. I
have been able to confirm that he stowed away on a ship from Yokohama
to Vancouver in 1919.

Thanks.
