I just would like to mention, in case you haven't come across
it yet, a series of books on the Jewish communities between
the rivers Aisch, Aurach, Ebrach and Seebach in Franconia in
Bavaria. The series is called "Mesusa: Traces of Jewish Past
On the Aisch, Aurach, Ebrach and Seebach" . The 2002 publication
covers the Jewish cemeteries from Zeckern, Walsdorf, Aschbach,
Uehlfeld, Mu"hlhausen, Lisberg, Burghaslach and Reichmannsdorf.
It sells for $35 or Euros and in my opinion, is worth every
penny! [I have no financial interest in this or any of these
wonderful publications!] The other books in this series are:
"Kindergarten Mu"hlhausen;" "Traces of Jewish Past in Adelsdorf;"
three volumes of "Mesusa," covering different aspects of the areas
studied, all undertaken by a team headed by Johann Fleischmann.
Another book in the series is a Memorbuch undertaken by Dr.
Christiane Kolbet on the Jews from Adelsdorf and Weisendorf.
All the books are written in German. "Mesusa 3" includes photographs
of the tombstones along with their printed text in Hebrew and
the German translations.

Anyone interested can contact the ever helpful Johann Fleischmann
indirectly at through me, since Jewishgen will not permit his email
to be published publicly!
