Dear Jewishgenners:
I read an article in the Tuesday, Chicago Tribune, 08/20/02, about an
extraordinary sixteen year old teenager who began a dedicated plight to
re-discover forgotten cemeteries with a school project. So far, this
person has identified fifty (50) cemeteries "and counting," and brings a
grass mower on each journey. Regretfully, I do not have a copy of this
article. This person may have a list of the information indicated on the
tombstones, and if so, the information may be pertinent to this research
aims of this group.

The online Tribune requires registration, but it is free. I read this
article too and it is well worth your time.
