I'm looking for any information on, or descendants of the Waldmans and
Gersteins of Antopole, Poland, descended from Rabbi Yom Tov Lipman Heller
(1579-1654). I am descended from Fruma Waldman who married a Gerstein (1st
name currently unknown) around 1860-1875. They stayed behind while most
others in the family came to the US in early 1900's. Fruma Waldman was
blind. Her son Shlomo Gerstein stayed behind as well. Her parents were
Bunya and Zev Hersh Waldman, who also emigrated to the US. I have a photo
of her parents and siblings taken in the US.

There was a book published about Yom Tov Lipman Heller in 1984 called "The
Feast and the Fast" by Rabbi C. U. Lipschitz and Dr. Neil Rosenstein.

Please contact me at my email address if you know of anything. Please note
