Any information on the origins of the last name MAZZALUPI? There don't seem to be many Mazzalupi's in Italy or around the world for that matter. I'm interested in the origins, history and genealogy.

There are many Mazzalupis in Central Italy (Lazio and Marche). Origin:
mazza + lupi, meaning: "clubbing wolves", most likely referring to
ancient farmers or shepherds. The genealogy depends on… your own
history, and cannot be generalized.
