Are there web pages that I can access to communicate directly, in English,
with the following areas in Italy ? Poggiofiorito and Canosa Sannita ? Both of
which are in the Chieti Province. The names I am looking for are : Alfonso
Loueiano Civitarese, born about 1886, and his brother Giovanni Civitarese, both
moved to America. I would love to know their parents names.
From Canosa S. There is Rita Marinucci, born about 1891, and her brother
Guiseppe Marinucci, both moved to America. Their fathers name was Pantalone
Marinucci.
Alphonso and Rita eventually met and married. Any help would be welcome.

The Italy phone directory on the Net at http://www.infobel.com/italy/
has 12 listings for Civitarese in Poggiofiorito, and 1 in Canosa Sannita.

There are no Marinucci listings in Poggiofiorito, but there are 2 Marinucci
listings in Canosa Sannita.

Maybe your distant cousins could help you in your search.

Good luck.

You can also go to www.comuni.it and see if your towns have a website with phone numbers, fax numbers, and even e-mail addresses.

For example here is the information on your towns

http://www.comuni.it/pbase/?IDcom=1424

http://www.comuni.it/pbase/?IDcom=5590

Good luck.
