Good Evening,

My ancestor, Isaac Baker, born on the Isle of Wight in 1789, joined the Royal Horse Artillery in 1808 and served 25 years until he was pensioned off in 1833. His Military record indicates he was receiving a pension with the last record showing he died in Dublin in 1853.
I luckily came across an article in the Dublin Weekly Freeman's Journal 28th May 1853 with a Coroners report indicating that a Isaac Baker had hung himself at 30, Marrowbone Lane. The article mentioned his wife, Mary Baker and a neighbour, Mary Coyne.
I cannot seem to locate any other information on this Isaac Baker. Neither marriage, whether he had any children, burial or even if he was infact my ancestor.
Can anyone with Irish History research experience offer any suggestions on how I might proceed please.

Many thanks

Julian Baker
