Transcribed from the 29 December 1846 edition of The Armagh Guardian
newspaper, by permission of The British Library:

Dinner at the Drelincourt School.--On Saturday last, the day after
Christmas day, the children in connection with this school were provided
with a dinner of roast beef, bread, &c., which were plentifully
supplied. The Rev. Alexander Irwin, Rev. R. Haig, Rev. T. Jones, with F.
Elrington, Esq., and the Misses Elrington, (whose exertions in behalf of
the poor, at this present crisis, are beyond all praise) were in
attendance. The arrangements were excellent, and admirably adapted to
the comfort and convenience of the children, all of whom seemed to enjoy
the entertainment so bountifully provided for them.
