HUGUENOTS from BERRY

I'm studying the Huguenot families from south of Berry around
prohibition of protestantism in France by king Louis XIV, and I'm
particularly looking for those originating from the cities of ARGENTON
and Saint-GAULTIER who refuged for religion in Nederland, England or any
other place.

If you have any of them among your ancestors, please just mail me; I'll
may be probably able to tell you more about their origins in Berry.

Here are the families I'm hunting for :
AUDEBERT - BASTARDON or BATARDON - BOIFFOU or BOIFFOUT - BROSSIER -
CHEZAULT - DERIGOIN or DIRIGOIN - DUPUY - GODIN - GRELET - LASNIER -
MALESSET - MAUDUIT - MERCIER - PEROT - PIJAUD or PIGEAUD or PIJAULT -
PLASSAT - REBERIOUX - RODIER - SOUCHAY.

Thanks for any help.

Take a look at the Olive Tree, it has collections of huguenot links. Try
also posting to soc.genealogy.benelux and soc.genealogy.french.
There was an Anna Souchay, wife to Philippe Fouche, who turned up at the
Cape of Good Hope - but their origin was given as Loire Valley. There were
also du Puys at the Cape, but I have no record of where they came from. As
there were plenty of other huguenot refugees who went to the Cape,
soc.genealogy.african might also be a good idea.
