Hi, from the surnames of your ancestors, I ascertained that they would be
from the Ostriesland area of northwest Germany, which is where Emden is.
Emden, IL was named for Emden Germany. I also googled "Ubbenga" and
found the following on the Ostfriesland Genealogy website:

Wednesday, August 06, 2008 — Michael msc...@aol.com

Meindert Ubbenga Emden 1843 US circa 1874

It appears that someone else is climbing your tree!
