Seeking data on Johann Conrad Groetzinger from ROTTENACKER in
OBERSCHWABEN, Wuerttemberg in the 1700's. Johann Conrad and his son
Conrad Jr. were on the ship Duke of Wirtenberg which arrived in
Philadelphia, Pa. 16 Oct 1751.

Conrad Gretzinger bought a farm in Lebanon Township, Lancaster
County, (now Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County) in 1765. It was formerly
owned by Andreas Messerschmidt. The land of John Schrott bordered the
farm. The farm was sold the 5th of August 1780 by Conrad's widow Anna and
his eldest son Conrad Jr. to Joseph Dornbach. Conrad went to the St.
Luke's Evangelical Lutheran church in Schaefferstown, (formerly
Heidelberg) Pa.

I believe that his daughter, Susanna, was the second wife and married
in PA. to Andreas Messerschmidt. Eva Schrott, possibly the daughter of
John Schrott, married Andreas Messerschmidt (probably the son of Andreas
Sr.) in 1779 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church at Stouchsburg, Berks
County, Pa.
