I am searching for information on my 3rd Great Grandfathers family
His name is FREDERICK OLSON and he was born in 1786 in Wismar,
Mecklenberg, Germany.
He emigrated to Hull in England and in 1808 married Elizabeth Potter
in Great Grimbsy, Lincolnshire, England.

There are 57 Olson listings in the Germany phone directory at
http://www.dastelefonbuch.de , and some live in towns up near the Baltic,
across from the lower portion of Sweden. None in Wismar, however. There is
one in Parchem, only about 100 km (60 miles) SSE of Wismar. Might have some
distant cousins to contact. Might be a long shot.
