Carl is believed to have had two brothers and three sisters. Their parents
were believed to of had a fleet of brigs and schooners trading between the
England and the Baltic.
Carl's brothers and himself started business in Hull in Yorkshire as corn
merchants under the name of "Baltic Corn Exchange". Lived in Hull,
Yorkshire,England

He also had a sister Catherine KLEIN b.4 November 1861 died 1929 who was a
famous watercolour artist of flowers and fruit in gouache.
She attended Berlin Art School.
Had a lot of her works in glass castles in Berlin. Also had a exhibition in
Berlin in 1890 Dresden and Munich. Columbian Expo.,Chicago USA in 1893.
