Hello I am looking for information on the name Grosz. My family is
German-Russian having come origanly to the Dakotas reportedly the
area of Hosmer SD. My Great Grandfather was named Gotlieb or Gotlieb
Jr and was one of immegrants. Any pointers to get me going would be
apreciated.

What part of Russia? Wandering Volhynians has 3 people researching GROSS;
AHSGR has 14 for GROSS, 5 for GROSZ.

For a good start to online German Russian research go to the regional
section of the German Genealogy web site at www.genealogy.com and check
out the section on Russia.
