There is an Althof south of and belonging now to Bad Doberan which is just
west of Rostock.
Another Althof is now part of Coesfeld.
There is a town called Parkentin just SE of Bad Doberan.

<P> <B>How to Use the Free Translation
Service</B> <P>
Machine translation technology provides you with fast and inexpensive
access to multi-lingual communications. The resulting draft translation
can provide the "gist" of the source text - allowing you to decide if
further translation by a professional human translator is necessary. <P>
This service translates text to
and from English and one of four other languages. English
text can be translated into Spanish, French,
German, or Italian, and vice versa. If
your original text is in Spanish, French, German, or Italian, you can
translate it to English.
<P>
Fill in the form below. The finished translation will be returned to
you by e-mail within 24 hours. Be sure you enter a valid e-mail
address. <P>
<B>Before You Start: Does your web work with "Forms"</B>
<P>
If you are unable to complete the information in our form, below, your
WWW browser does not
handle "forms" correctly. We've found that older versions of Mosaic and
America Online's web browser
fall into this category. Don't worry -- you can still use this
translation service
through e-mail. Just click on <A HREF="xlate_other.html"><B>Free
Translations Via E-Mail</A></B> and follow the instructions carefully.<P>
<B>One Last Note: Special Handling of Accents and Special
Characters</B><P>
On some systems special characters such as "é" may appear as
'=e8' because the host mail system does not support these special
characters. If you get your translation back and it contains
characters like '=e8' instead of "é", check the box below for special
handling, and we will use substitution characters for the special
characters. <BR>

Please enter the text for translation in the window below. You may enter
approximately 1000 characters (250-300 words) of text. You can paste in
text or type directly in the box. <P>
<B>IMPORTANT NOTE: </B> For optimal translations, your source text should
consist of
concise, simply constructed sentences, free of ambiguities and idiomatic
expressions. For that reason, basic business style works significantly
better than complex
sentences, or metaphorical, colloquial style.
Also, when sending a machine translated draft to
someone, it is usually helpful to send a copy of the original source text
as well so that
the reader can refer to it for additional help in understanding the
translation. <P>

There are (at least) three Winsen in Germany: Winsen/Aller, Winsen/Luhe and
Winsen b. Neumuenster. So you have to be more specific. On the other hand
al three are small towns, so they won't differ much...
