HILTY and HILTI are Swiss surnames.
HILTY is an old surname (citizenship acquired before 1800) in Canton Sankt
Gallen, community of Grabs (ZIP CH-9472) 5 kms west of Liechtenstein in
the Rhine valley.
HILTI indeed come from the *F"urstentum Liechtenstein*.
But also from Ober"onz in Canton Bern 150 kms west of Liechtenstein.

You'll find some information about HILTY in:

SCHUMACHER Verena: Family record of the children of Peter Hilty, 1821-1892
and Elizabeth Neuenschwander Hilty, 1819-1894. Pandora O 1965. (at Allen
County Public Library, Fort Wayne, Indidana).

HILTY David Heinrich: Stammbaum der Familie Hilty von Werdenberg. Buchs SG
1913. The Table is reproduced in: Heeb-Hilty Doris: Erlebtes Werdenberg.
Buchs SG, 1987, 143 p.

SAXER Hermann: Schloss Werdenberg im Besitz der Arztfamilie Hilty (von

Hope this helps
