My family and I are searching for my fathers birth parents and siblings. He
was adopted at six days of age by an American couple through a North
Carolina Agent. He was born as Peter Hommas, Hammes??? in Whitlick,
Whitlish Germany on December 16th, 1953. Birth Mother was light skined with
red hair and possible Blue Eyes, Birth Father likely to have been a French
Soldier... If any one had any information please E-mail me ASAP.

Probably Hommes or Hammes, in Wittlich, Germany. I'd write to the
Standesamt there to get his birth information:

Include DM12 with your letter as payment, and mention that you are his
direct descendant. I wouldn't mention adoption.
