I think, the "N." in 'Munster/N.' could be Niedersachsen = Lower Saxony

Feldmesser is a profession that changed with the times. It could be somebody
who kept records of the land people owned or who calculated which way the
new railroads ran. (In Thueringen there were special Feldmesser called
Markscheider who where responsible for mining rights. If one purchased a
claim, one had mining rights, but only to the borders of ones claim. To
determine the borders underground was the job of the Markscheider.) Think of
the people who ran the offices for registering homesteads and the like in
the "Wild West".

If Haas was owner of an inn, then more correctly he would be an
Innkeeper (in proper English). A landlord is a Gutsbesitzer or
Eigentümer. Clearly, your the translations are not wrong. Sometimes it
is just a matter of opinion, precision and preference.
