what do you mean with area?

geographically the area is called Drawehn ( the name stems from the
former, til 1100, slavic inhabitants, called Wenden, hence the adjacent
Wendland)
politically it was Herzogtum Braunschweig-Lüneburg (1807-1918), til 1807
part of the Kurfürstentum Hannover (1692-1814)
