Madeleine Cormier & Francois Regnaud ou Francois Pichot ou Etienne Mignau?

Thanks to all for informing me that Micon=Miquelon. I really should have
gotten that. I'm still confused about Pierre-Jean-Baptiste Joubert &
Madeleine Pichot Renaud. Did her mother, Madeleine Cormier, marry both
Francois Renaud & Francois Pichot? If so which is the father of Madeleine
Pichot Renaud? On the baptism registers of Miquelon I found the following:
BONNEVIE
De Amand et Catherine GAUDET
Amand b. 10/09/1771, né idem, p. DUGAS Abraham, m. VILALON Marie-Anne
Marie-Madeleine b. 30/07/1769, née 29/07/1769, p. REGNAUD François,
m. CORMIER Marie-Magdelaine

Does this mean that Francois Regnaud is the godfather and Magdaleine the
godmother and perhaps married to each other? I also found:
PICHOT
De François et Marie-Magdeleine CORMIER
François b. 19/06/1774, né 13/12/1773, p. RICHARD Germain son oncle,
m. MANUEL Josette Fe Louis CABOS, maître de grave à St-Pierre
Marie-Magdeleine b. 12/05/1771, née 14/01/1771, p. LEBORGNE Michel, m.
CORMIER Marie
PIKTENARUET

This does look like the Madgaleine who married Joubert. Could Regnaud and
Pichot be dit names? I also noted on the CGFA that a Madeleine Cormier,
daughter of Jean-Pierre Cormier & Marie Cyr, married an Etienne Mignau. Did
she have three husbands: Pichot, Re(g)naud, Mignau? As you can see I'm very
confused. Thanks for any further suggestions.

There is a chance that the RENAUD dit name is from Rene, the
first name of a PICHOT (see my previous message).

godparents, yes
married together: this is not indicated and in many baptisms,
the godparents are not married together.

This is what Bertrand Desjardins said earlier: PICHOT dit RENAUD.
RENAUD is sometimes written REGNAUD.

Be very carefull with Acadian genealogy. Many persons of the
same name because the set of early large families is quite small.
