LeNeuf and LeGardeur: New Research Published

I have been remiss in not mentioning sooner than now that R.-Yves Gagné has published the first of a series of articles on the origins of the LeNeuf and LeGardeur families. These are important "noble" families in the founding of New France. The first article goes into some detail to show that the LeNeufs were not nobles at all. I am particularly interested to learn what he has discovered about the LeGardeurs and the relationship of this family to the LeNeufs back in France.
