Larrabee as a Huguenot name?

[Rendell & Florence Davis]

The earliest records I have found of my Larrabee line indicate that the name
was originally L'Arabie or possibly D'Arabie and that the family were
Huguenots who came to New England after the revocation of the Edict of
Nantes in 1685. I've never seen this name in any form listed in any books
I've seen about the Huguenots. Has anyone researching other Huguenot lines
run across the name? Thanks for the help. Florence Davis

Hello Florence,

I've got the opportunity to visit the German Huguenot Society in a more or
less monthly intervall. The lists there mostly deal with french refugees
whos settled in Germany - or what used to be at that time Germany. If you
don't mind I shall have a check on your query and give you information by
