Someone somewhere in a NG or a list, gave a tip about making
graphics appear in WP. I need that tip again, and I cannot
find it.

The problem: I prefer to insert pictures myself where I
want them, rather than let my genie program put them where
it wants them. I generate the book-text and edit it in WP
and insert the pictures, but I can't see them on screen to
size them.

Seems to me the tip involved f9? But whatever I've tried
hasn't worked and, as I said, I haven't turned up the
post/message in my searches.

Anyone know this?

Thanks.

By WP, I assume you mean Word Perfect? What process do you use to
insert the pictures?

[Opens Word Perfect 9]

Put your cursor where you want the image to appear.
Insert>Graphics>From file...
Graphic appears on page
Right click the graphic and you'll get the appropriate context menu;
look for 'Size'

If you're trying to find where the image went to, you can open Reveal
Codes view with Alt-F3. Look for 'BOX'. When you move the cursor in
front of the box, you'll see information about it.
