dwyer family in kilmore
Roslyn Livingston-Schubert
Kilmore, Vic in 1881. Does anyone know how to find out if they were born in
Kilmore ? Tom would have been born around 1850 and Annie in 1856. Tom's parents
were Michael Dwyer and Catherine Sullivan. I do not know where they were
born or died. Annie's parents were Peter Bradley and Mary Keenan.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Annie's death is not so straight forward....this looks like her death record
but it will need to be purchased to help clarify the info....the age at
death and the name used as Annie's mums surname leads me to belive this is
correct and that the informant did not know much about her!

Victorian Registry they will send you the whole page from the register if
you say it is for family history. If you don't then they will send a proper
certificate. Getting the whole page can be very useful as you get all the
other entries on the page and other little snippets like who was the
registrar for the district - this was useful to me as it turned out to be my
GGGrandfather. I was able to see that he very kindly put in much more info
than he usually did for the other entries when he recorded the birth of his
daughter, my GGrandmother.
I wanted to know if the maxi site does the same thing or do they just send a
certificate as I have never bought one through them.

Maxi is the Vic Government "payment" of government services site - you are
still ordering BDM Certs from the Vic Registry of BDMs - exactly what you've
obviously already received in the past - it's just that Maxi is the
centralised payment site for various Vic Govt services.
