I just wonder whether these indexes are out in the community or are
they only held by genealogical societies...?

Was hoping for a look-up for the death of Annetta SPENCER who died in
Caulfield Vic on 15 April 1901. To obtain her will I need the Probate
Series No and the Probate Record No.
With the local society closed for some weeks I was hoping I could
short circuit the trip to their local office....
Just wondering... :-)
