Can you give me more info about the photo please?
- R.Yeoman was at 169 Bourke St East Melbourne 1885-1899
- Yeoman and Co. were at 139 Clarendon St South Melbourne 1882-89 (This
was John Yeoman)
- Yeoman and Co. were also at 47 Chapel St Prahran 1884-91.
- There was also a Royal Arcade run by Grouzelle and Vanheems at 57
Burke St Melbourne 1884-87
Suggest you try the book "Dating Family Photos in Australia 1850-1920" -
by Leonora Frost I think. There is also a comprehensive list of
Australian Photographers and when and where they worked in another book,
the name of which escapes me now. Ask at your local library genealogy
section.

Jeanette,
According to "The Mechanical Eye" by Davies and Stanbury, there was a
photography business: Arthur Yeoman, 1899-1900 in Namurkahl; Charles
Yeoman (various dates from 1894-1900, Hawthorn, North Melbourne, and
Geelong, Victoria); John Yeoman and Co (Various address in Melbourne
from 1882-1900) and Richard Yeoman (1882 Emerald Hill, 1895 various
addresses in Melbourne).
Hope this helps. If you want further info please let me know.
