The short lives of dogs is a kind of tragedy.
Humans and dogs are now SO related that it's
a big trauma when favored dogs die. For many
it's as bad as losing a child.
Genetic engineers - WORK on this.
Anyway, pugs are doomed. Dogs like Doxies
are gonna last a lot longer. I mean real
Doxies ... the "toy" kind might live nearly
as long but tend to have bad spinal probs.
(btw ... real doxies are loyal but not
super-tolerant, be careful with children)
