Are there any white Zimbaweans in senior positions in the Zimbabwe
army? Or is it essentially an all-black army?

What about whites in the Zimbabwean Air Force and Police? Are there any? If
yes, about what precent and in what sorts of positions?

Lionel Dyke used to more or less run the army, but I strongly suspect he's
long retired now. In the 1970s war he used to wear a red tracksuit in the
thick of battle, and the RAR he commanded worshipped him. Whenever a
successful 'contact' was made, he would raise a Jolly Roger up the nearest
tree. He was active in Zimbabwe too, certainly in the 1980s. Anyone know
what became of him? Ted.

Non, up until a few years ago there were still some whites in the police force,
non today.

In 1995, I saw two white policemen giving out tickets at the Avondale
shops.

No, not even in the lower ranks.
