Dear Peter,
(*or if we change by slavic rules it becomes Petre, am I right???*)
I do not understand what is your point. USEnet ruleas are NO ALIASES, and no
false names - only real names. Therefore, I consider that Mladen is
deliberately laying about his name by putting his middle name as his first
name. I gave an example what an confuson can it be if I'd do the same thing.
One more thing, no matter wheter DVV is lieing or not, I do not understand
how Doctor Mladen Wickerhauser can write that DVV is laying when he, himself
lies to us about his real name, place of work and phone number?

C'mon. are you aware what you wrote right up there ???????????
please, your knowledge of networks is aproaching zero. NETNEWS (or USEnet) is
world-distributed, and with every article you can specify wheter you want it
localy, USA, North America, or world. Therefore, claim that this is 'english
language network' is so funny.I think you should get some fact straight
before writting anything.
BTW, are you Professor Mladen Wickerhauser's lawyer or P.R. secretary?
And it seems that you are like Ivo - holding ethnic fellow's back, no matter
wheter it is right to do so or not. I find it disgusting. How can you judge
me or anything else based on ethnic inheritage?
regards,
Nick

Two unicians, A and B, are disputing the number of distinct meanings that
the period (".") can have in UNIX. A says 38, B says 39. A challenges B
to enumerate. "Well, first off, a period in a string can indicate the
end of a sentence...". A immediately says, "Ah, yes, ..39."

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Dear Ivo,
first, you say 'this is so stupid' and then 'Dear Nikola'. Did
you ever had English Composition 101? There's a nice book called 'St. Martin's
Guide' - it explains how to use letter of protest. I am sure they never
mentioned anything like what you wrote. You know, besides all of those Dr., Mr.
and other titles, you need to learn some other stuff. I hope you will. But I
am sure I won't take any time to help you - except if you want to hire me as a
tutor. :)
|> Dear Nikola, you should know that Washington is not only the name
|> of the state and capitol......
;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
Oh NO ! You gotta be kidding - you mean there is actually a Washington State?
Woah. Boy. You opened my eyes....
;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
|> The university in St. Louis is named by
|> the George Washington. The next time before you accuse someone for
|> lying better check the facts.
Dear Ivo, please quote me where did I write about St.Louis and Washington
State? I do not understand what does it have to do with my sentence (the
only one that appears to be mentioning Washington and St.Louis)
-----------------my quote-------
"Could you explain to us, how come you are continualy posting
your phone number in St. Louis and claiming to be currently employed at
Washington University?"
----end quote----------------------
now, read what you wrote and read what I wrote and decide wheter you need to
give me a lesson about US geography and US history.
I bet you don't know that North Dakota is in US. Do you?
|> Second , as a student of CS you should
|> know that you can easy finger email adresses
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
SORRY - YOU AS A COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENT SHOULD KNOW ABOUT DIFFERENT NETWORKS
AND FACILITIES THEY CAN GIVE YOU. Namely not every adress can be fingered.
Bitnet adresses can not be fingeres, but you can send a request for searching
to a one's country NETSERV and do a query - you can do query by name, host,
institution etc.... the catch 22 is that a person you are searching for
has to be registered in direstory for one country. directory for
Yugoslavia is on AEARN. directory for USA is on BITNIC. Also on uunet, you
can't do any form of fingering or searching (to my knowledge - I do
not use uunet too much :( actualy not at all).
one more thing - most of IBM machines running CMS mainframe have
many programs how can do most of this job for you, just type
NETNAMES, or commands like :
TNODE YUBGEF51 (TO FROM
or RCMD YUBGEF51 S U
etc.....
Of course, if adres is in form of GateWay usage like :
martin30692d%buef78%yubgef51%aearn.edvz.u...@cunyvm.cuny.edu
then fingering is impossible. (BTW this path is the fastest one if you
are sending mail from US to YU local DECnet, since Zagreb's OLIMP
is not working. When it starts working, the fastest is :
user%YUDECN...@olimp.irb.yu)
any questions?
BTW you wanted me to do something like this :
------------------------------
$f vic...@jezebel.wustl.edu
[jezebel.wustl.edu]
Login name: victor In real life: Victor Wickerhauser
Directory: /home/jezebel/victor Shell: /bin/csh
Last login Fri Dec 20 20:52 on ttyb
No unread mail
No Plan.
------------------------------
But I see no connection between what I wrote and what you want to say. so
what if I can finger him at jezebel.wustl.edu and see that his last login
was two hours ago. Did you ever figured out about the following commands :
rlogin jezebel.wustl.edu -l victor
or
telnet jezebel.wustl.edu
or stuff like local phone number for SprintNet, so if jezebel has X.121
adress, you just type c number. or maybe even some other alternative ways?
You see, besides fingering, I can (if I have account) login on jezebel host
from North Dakota, and claim to be I am on WU :) pretty funky, ain't it? :)
I can even send you some mail and some postings from australia if you want -
Internet and rlogin command are powerful stuff.
I gave a number of Mladen's office on Yale. Did you care to check? Please
do, and you will have oportunity to talk to professor Mladen Wicerhauser,
who's middle name is Victor.
|> and if that doesn't
|> succed you can pick up ftp file from the uunet and check the address
|> (email) of particular university, location and name. After all it is
|> so easy to check a phone book, or Graduate Peterson Guide, etc.
|> That is very hard to belive that you really wanted to check.
Well, again, if you cared to check the phone number I posted, you might have
spared you of embaressment and spare us of some waste.
|> Now, when we have established the fact that WU, St. Louis exists,
|> one may expect from you public apology.
PLEASE, I DO EXPECT APPOLOGY FROM YOU FOR MISQUOTING ME AND STATING
SOMETHING I DID NOT SAY.
And there is one thing that bothers me - are you professor Mladen
Wickerhauser's public relation secretary, or you just wanted to make some
waste on SCY?
BTW, I do beleive that professor Mladen Wickerhauser has been employed as
proffesor on WU some time in his life. But I wanted to point out that
currently he is not, and further more HE IS LAYING ABOUT HIS NAME.
Please, how would it look like if I sign off as : "Vojislav
Malenovic" and put the name "Vojislav Malenovic" in my mail headers? Then if
you call UND and ask about "Vojislav Malenovic", they'll have NO IDEA who I
am. That's called false identity. When you deliberately lie about your name.
(remark : Vojislav is my middle name).

|> PS: If you don't like someone's article that doesn't mean that you

Oh, please, spare me. How can I insult a person if I publicly expose his
laying about his identity - or is it that you are like Tudjman - 'everything
that might harm Croatia has to be censored, banned etc....'
If I publicly expose corruption, cheating, stealing or any other form of
illegal work ('nedozvoljena rabota'), I am supposed to get some standing
ovation and loliepop :). And what I get from you for a job done good? A
bunch of insults and misquoting in order to put me down etc. Tudjman will be
proud of you. congratulation.
Dear Ivo, you either do not know english language at all -
because you misinterpreted it sooooo much - or you are really one of those
blind and stubborn people who are "protecting fellow ethnic brother". It
seems that you as a Croat, could not resist when a Serb attacked your fellow
ethnic Croat, and it makes it special because Mladen is one of those 'Brave
Croats who does everything for his mother Croatia' (actualy this is to be
read as 'do everything for current CRO gov'). So you decided to make
anything at all in order to put me down, and as I showed, all you wrote is
simple a lie - i.e. wrote about things I DID NOT SAY. any appology? or you
will just turn around and forget it. what is it?

Nick
