I can't tell you about Y Cyrff, but Sothach is a magazine which deals
with the Welsh rock/pop scene. I think it's monthly.

Gwenhwyson am byth!
I don't know about ALL the members of Y Cyrff, but I think that Mark, the
lead singer, is now in chart-topping indie popsters Catatonia (and bloody
good they are too). All the others have probably disappeared into that well
known backwater of Llanrwst, Nebo.
On another note, a few members of Ffa Coffi Pawb seem to have reappeared as
Super Furry Animals (along with pictures of the world famous Dic Ben, and
TV Weather girl, Sian Lloyd!).

Marc Roberts (singer) met Welsh-Spanish Cerys Matthews busking in
Cardiff and formed Catatonia. Cyrff bassist Paul Jones joined them from
the start. No idea what Barry Cawley or the other Mark are doing now,
but I know that original drummer Dylan has been experimenting with dance
music under the name of H3, who started off as cod-Hip-Hop but the latest
stuff sounded like very competent Drum 'n Bass. More Catatonia stuff on
the web page:

A couple of Y Cyrff are now playing in Catatonia, including Mark the
songwriter in both bands.
