Further to some postings about Robert Maxwell, the
New York Post is reporting that a new book alleges
that Maxwell was an Israeli spy connected to the
mafia in Eastern Europe. The book is titled, "Robert
Maxwell, Israel's Superspy: The Life and Murder
of the Media Mogul."
Additional information on a lawsuit involving Robert
Maxwell and Goldman Sachs in a fraud conspiracy

In 1993 the Securities and Exchange Commission
looked into the firm's trading activities with Maxwell.
Sheinberg was forced to testify, and all of his
personal recordscalendars, airline tickets, personal
notes, and the likeas well as the firm's records
relating to their trades were subpoenaed.
Although the SEC apparently did not charge the
firm or Sheinberg with any wrongdoing, the pension
funds brought lawsuits. The Maxwell pension
trustees, staring at a £400 million hole left by
Maxwell's thievery, decided that the best way
forward in the spring of 1994 was to sue Goldman
Sachs and Sheinberg in a U.S. court before a
sympathetic jury, if possible on the charges of
breach of contract and fiduciary responsibility,
fraud, and conspiracy.
The lawyers for the trustees argued that Goldman
Sachs had conspired with Robert Maxwell to
defraud pension participants, some of them elderly
retired people, out of their life savings. They claimed
that Goldman Sachs either knew of Maxwell's
pilfering of shares or that it had reason to know,
and that either way the firm aided him in his theft.

Goldman Sachs paid $253 million to settle the
fraud conspiracy lawsuit. Eric Sheinberg was
the third most senior partner at Sachs, the firm
that had high profile executives such as Robert
Rubin and Jon Corsine. Rubin left Goldman Sachs
and became Treasury Secretary in 1995, playing
an important role in the looting of Ukraine, Russia,
and Eastern Europe. At Sachs, Rubin had been
appointed co-vice-chairman and co-chief operating
officer in 1987.
As part of his looting scheme, some of the trades
Maxwell did with Goldman Sachs, were conducted
through trusts in Liechtenstein, such as Servex
and Yakosa.
While being an Israeli spy, Robert Maxwell was
also a member of the British Parliament. Maxwell's
financial empire included public and private media
companies in the U.S., U.K., and Liechtenstein,
such as Pergamon, Buckingham Press, Metromode
(Cable TV), Berlitz, The European (newspaper),
the Mirror Group of Companies (eg. Daily Mirror,
Sunday Mirror, Scottish Daily Record, People,
Magyar Hirlap, etc.), New York Daily News,
Berliner Zeitung, Kenya News, etc.
Maxwell had control of one of the top five media
empires in the world making him a multi-billionaire.
Maxwell's media companies also provided cover
for Mossad agents as reporters, and channels for
disinformation. For example, there were planted
stories on Mordechai Vanunu, the well-known
Israeli whistleblower (who was later drugged and
kidnapped by Israelis using a "honey trap" named
"Cindy" whose real name was Cheryl Hanin
Bentov and who was a part-time Mossad agent)
that exposed the nuclear weapons program and
hydrogen bomb project in Dimona, Israel. (BTW,
the Israeli "SIOP", as nuclear targeting plans are
known, includes Odesa, Ukraine). In the Vanunu
case, Yitzhak Shamir personally called Maxwell
to have him run stories that would tarnish Vanunu's
credibility and make him look like a charlatan.
In the book, "The Outsider: The Book That
Maxwell Tried to Ban", author Tom Bower
describes Maxwell's relationship with the KGB
and Kremlin. According to the book's back
cover, it includes "the conspiracy of public and
private companies that intentionally concealed
a staggering 3 billion pounds of debts." Bower
writes that Maxwell's Pergamon had negotiated
exclusive deals back in the 1950s with the Soviet
state publisher, Mezhdunarodnaya Kniga, to
publish and distribute Soviet journals and books
in the West. For example, Maxwell with the
"assistance of the Great Soviet Encyclopaedia,
obtained the rights to edit and publish Information
USSR which was automatically purchased by
most libraries throughout the west." In the middle
of the Cold War, Maxwell had a close relationship
with the President of the Soviet Academy of
Sciences, and traveled freely and repeatedly to
the USSR, Poland, Hungary and East Germany
(where he did similar deals). These deals made
Maxwell a millionaire by 1960, with a Rolls-Royce,
mansion, etc. The Jewish GRU officer that
introduced Maxwell to KGB boss Yuri Andropov,
was Zaloman Levitsky (a pseudonym).
Bower writes that Robert Maxwell was born on
10 Jun 1923 in Slatinske Doly (or Aknazlatina) in
a small Ruthenian village in the Carpathian
mountains to an Orthodox Jewish family
(Maramaros Jews). The family's surname was
Hoch, and Maxwell's name was Abraham Lajbi
Hoch. It was registered at the town hall as Jan
Ludvik Hoch. Maxwell gave varying accounts
on what he did as a teenager and during WWII.
Maxwell somehow became a private in a British
regiment in 1943. According to Tom Bower,
Major-General L.O. Lyne of the 59th (Staffordshire)
Division recommended that Maxwell be promoted
to second lieutenant, and at this time he changed
his name to Ian Robert Maxwell (later dropping
Ian). Maxwell had also used aliases, such as Ivan
du Maurier (taken from a packet of cigarettes)
Leslie Smith, and Leslie Jones.
Bower writes that Maxwell was compromised
by the KGB in 1946.

Authors John Loftus and Mark Aarons wrote in
"The Secret War Against The Jews" that Robert
Maxwell was a committed Zionist since age 12
and became a double agent for the Israelis. They
say that Maxwell was recruited in 1946 by British
intelligence, assigned to the British Control
Commission for Germany, and appointed as the
British representative to supervise elections in
the Soviet sector of Berlin (he knew the Russian
language). Maxwell teamed up with another Jew,
named Ferdinand Springer to set up a Maxwell-
Springer publishing firm. The journalist Alex Mitchell,
discovered that Maxwell used his official position
in interrogating Nazi dignitaries and scientists to
organize a private trade in Nazi scientific papers
for profit. The authors add that British intelligence
used the firm as a front for recruiting German
scientists, similar to the U.S. "Operation Paperclip"
for recruiting Nazis to the USA. In 1948, Maxwell-
Springer merged with Butterworth Press, a front
for MI6. Maxwell's partner became Count Frederick
Vanden Heuvel, one of the most senior officers of
the British secret service. Heuvel was the equivalent
to being Allen Dulles's (U.S. CIA) counterpart as MI6
station chief in Bern during the war. Heuvel was
also familiar with Richard Kauder's Max network
of "Fascist Jews." Richard Kauder, code-named
Klatt, an Austrian Jew, was the head of the Max
network. Recall that the Soviet spy Kim Philby
(whose controller was Arnold Deutch) had risen
to senior levels in British intelligence and oversaw
the British intelligence operations in Eastern Europe.
Also, Kauder supported Maxwell in such operations
as smuggling weapons from Czechoslovakia to
Palestine/Israel. The Stalinist puppet government
of Czechoslovakia in 1948 had eleven Jews (eg.
Rudolf Slansky [Zaltsman] was the General
Secretary of the Central Committee of the
Communist Party of Czechoslovakia). In the
Zionist operation, the Czechs provided Jews (eg.
the terrorist group Haganah that later became the
Israeli army and whose leader, David Ben-Gurion
became Israel's first prime minister) in Palestine/
Israel in 1948 with advanced German airplanes
such as the Messerschmitt Bf-109 and other
weapons used in the ethnic cleansing of the
Palestinians in the fight for the creation the State
of Israel. Other weapons were smuggled from
North America by Zionists and the Jewish Mafia,
such as Meyer Lansky.

Menashe, wrote in his book "Profits of War:
The Sensational Story of the World-Wide
Arms Conspiracy", about Maxwell's role in
money laundering for weapons from the East
Bloc (Poland) via the Israelis to Iran. The deal
in 1984 had the blessing of Viktor Chebrikov,
the head of the KGB. The players included
Mossad's Ari Ben-Menashe, the Austrian Dr.
Dieter Rabus (Maxwell's friend) who was the
son-in-law of the director of a Polish factory
making T-72 tank engines, the Polish defense
minister, General Wojciech Jaruzelski, and
Nick Davies, a Mossad agent employed under
the cover of being the Foreign Editor of the
Daily Mirror owned by Maxwell. The weapons
were used in the Iraq-Iran war. The money
laundering from weapon sales went through
companies controlled by Maxwell and the
Mossad's Ora Group. The Mossad used its
commission money to fund black ops, bribe
politicians, etc. With the money-laundering-
arms-smuggling network in place, it would
also be used for supplying weapons to the
Contras in Nicaragua, with the CIA's approval.

Maybe of some of them are, but most probably aren't. I didn't say
you were a Marxist, either. The 10% of voters in a 2-man race probably voted
for LaRouche to signal dissatisfaction with Clinton. No other serious
Democrat is even running. But that's not what's wrong with LaRouche.
LaRouche is a Marxist with many additional beliefs that put him into a
category of his own. You obviously have some affection for him since you
repeat a lot of the propaganda from his writings. I don't know how well
you know LaRouche but I know that many people are attracted by part of
his message and don't have enough background to reject his overall
sleaziness.
LaRouche is a bad person. His philosophy is bad for the world in general
and Ukrainians in particular. He has a hatred for the Orthodox church and
slavs. He has stolen money from senile old ladies. He has gone to jail
for fraud. He is a political chameleon who can say something and its
exact opposite in the same sentence. He wants power badly and has
promised that his enemies will die when he gets power. Meanwhile, he
wants your money.
I have watched his career over many years and I thought he was finally
exposed for good when he went to jail for fraud. He ran for President
from jail in 1992 and did so poorly that I thought he was washed up but I
see that he continues to find new dupes. It makes me angry that some
Ukrainians have been taken in by his deceptions. I have been preparing a
dossier of his background and misdeeds. You have prodded me into
accellerating its completion with your servile parroting of his drivel.
So, who is Lyndon LaRouche? He is the leader of a world-wide cult of
hard-core ideologues who are convinced they are the chosen people who
will rule the world when LaRouche comes to power. In his 1975 book,
Dialectical Economics, he compares himself to Edgar Allan Poe's famous
detective, Monsieur Dupin. Says LaRouche, "The secrets of my actions are
of the same order as the purloined letter of the Poe tale, or the open
secrets of nature--it is a matter of knowing not only where, but how to
look." Lets take a look, shall we?
What is his background? He was born in 1922 in Rochester, New Hampshire,
his father a French-Canadian immigrant who converted from Catholic to
Quaker. He attended Northeastern University for about a semester in 1941,
dropping out with poor grades. In 1942 he entered a Civilian Public
Service camp for conscientious objectors where he got his political
consciousness raised, read Karl Marx's Das Kapital and became a
communist. Unhappy in the CPS camp, he joined the army in 1944 and was
stationed in India and Burma as a medic. He tried to organize GIs to
work with the local communist party.
According to a 1974 autobiographical article, LaRouche reached a new
phase in his political development in 1945 when he quarreled with P.C.
Joshi, a Calcutta communist leader who rejected LaRouche's suggestion to
instigate immediate uprising in Bengal against the British. He walked out
transformed. "By the time I reached the bottom of the stairs, [I] was a
sort of hardened Trotskyist," he wrote.
Leon Trotsky, ironicaly, was born in Ukraine, in Yankova, Kherson Oblast,
1879. He was a Marxist who developed an extension of Marxism called the
'Theory of Perpetual Revolution' with A.I.Parvus-Helphand. He joined the
Bolsheviks in 1917 and became the strategic coordinator of the Bolsheviks
in Petrograd. After the November 1917 Bolshevik putsch he was the Soviet
Commissar of War. He also is the guy who put down the Kronstadt naval
mutiny in 1921 and was chief of the League of the Militant Godless. Lenin
liked him a lot and wanted Trotsky to succeed him, but Stalin was better
organized and forced him out of the Communist Party into exile when Lenin
died. In 1940, he was crowned with an axe in his skull by a Spanish
communist sent by Stalin. Trotsky organized the Fourth International, a
rallying point for various revolutionary communist groups around the world.
Most communist parties were aligned with either Stalin or Trotsky, the more
militant usually preferring Trotsky ('perpetual revolution', get it).
Since he joined the Democrat party LaRouche has soft-pedaled his Marxist
past. His 1983 autobiography tries to put a more respectable face on his
past. The biography on his web page doesn't mention his conscientious
objector CPS camp time at all, lumping it in with his army service.
In 1946 he left the army and returned to Northeastern for a
few more months, majoring in physics. He says he quit because of
all-pervasive academic "phillistinism." In December, 1948 he applied for
membership in the Trotskyist Socialist Workers Party (SWP) an affiliate
of the Fourth International. He got his party card under the pseudonym
Lyn Marcus and soon went to work at General Electric's Lynn River Works
as an "industrial colonizer," organizing worker cadres. He was already
developing ideas of his own and he was put under party discipline for
advocating "tactical alliance" with Stalinists. The biography on his web
page says he was working as a 'consultant' at this time.
His biography on his web page also says that the period 1948-52 resulted
in the discovery of the "LaRouche-Riemann method" in economics.
In 1954, he moved to New York and married Janice Neuberger, a fellow SWP
member. During this time he was working as a SWP organizer. In 1965, he
organized support for a strike of New York welfare workers and partnered
with Tim Wohlforth to organize the American Committee for the Fourth
International, a Trotskyist splinter group with about 20 members. In a
typically grandiose LaRouche concoction, this group merged with the
Spartacist League in a pact he calls the "Montreal Concordat". The SWP
got tired of his deviationism and expelled him in 1966.
He became a Professor of Marxist Studies in 1967 at the Free School of
New York. The syllabus for his class shows he covered Hegel's "Science of
Logic", Kant, Liebnitz and all three volumes of Marx's "Das Kapital." His
course attracted many left-wing students from the Columbia University
chapter of Students for a Democratic Society, especially its People's
Labor Party faction. LaRouche differed with the PLP leadership but many
PLPers in his courses looked to LaRouche as a mentor. In the Spring of
1968 an SDS student strike shuts down Columbia University over the issues
of Pentagon research and a plan to build a gym in Harlem's Morningside
Park. SDS becomes famous nationwide. LaRouche kept a low profile during
the strike. After police break up the strike the SDS PLP faction (SDS
Labor Committee) split off (actually the Mark Rudd faction expelled them)
with LaRouche in charge.
In 1969, SDS Labor Committee organizes a strike at the University of
Pennsylvania. LaRouche organizes National Caucus of Labor Committees
(NCLC) with hard core members of SDS Labor Committee and goes on to
fame and fortune. The NCLC is still the key LaRouche organization in 1996.
In 1970 he wrote a pamphlet called "How the Workers League Decayed" in
which he said, "[Ideology is mostly] designed for the purpose of deceiving
--usually to deceive the authors above all others [on the hope that their]
credulous followers and opponents [can be suckered into accepting a given
factual position at face value. The typical leader] says in print and
public debate that with which he wishes to conceal his actual practice."

American Fascism," Doubleday, 1989.)
In 1971 he purges all but the hardest-core followers from the NCLC. He
tries to organize a Fifth International with the NCLC at the center. The
NCLC's Solidarity Magazine publishes his article titled "Growth of
Fascist Movements" on 'fascist base-building.' He defines a new type of
'left-protofascist' group that will work with right-wing racists. NCLC
grows to over 600 members with branches in West Berlin and Stockholm by
1973. LaRouche begins to see himself as a born-again Lenin. He launches
Operation Mop Up and sends his NCLC operatives to war with the Communist
Party in an attempt to take over the left with pipes, clubs and numchakas
in a series of raids on Communist Party bookstores in New York, Chicago,
Philadelphia, Buffalo, Detroit and other cities. The SWP allied with the
CP and isolated the NCLC. Before the NCLC suffers total rout LaRouche
declared victory and called off the battle. About this time he starts
calling himself Der Abscheulicher (the Abominable One). Soon LaRouche is
allying with the black racist Revolutionary Youth Movement (RYM), white
racist KKK and Boston's anti-bussing ROAR.
By 1975, LaRouche is meeting with the Liberty Lobby's Willis Carto,
Pennsylvania's KKK leader Roy Frankhauser, and starting to
attack Zionists, B'nai Brith and the Jewish Lobby even though 25%
of NCLC's membership is Jewish. Willis Carto, for those who don't keep up
with the fringe elements of American politics, is a disciple of Francis
Parker Yockey, who wrote a book called Imperium, dedicated to Adolf
Hitler, and considered a classic of conspiracy theories. Subsequently,
LaRouche issues a press release claiming only 1.5 million Jews died in
the Holocaust, mostly from starvation and disease.
This is a key time for LaRouche because the NCLC lost some members over
these events. The remaining members are fanatically hard-core, loyal to
LaRouche. In an internal memo issued at this time, called "The Secrets
Known Only to The Inner Elites," LaRouche says that Left and Right does
not exist in politics, there is only the humanist elite (LaRouchians) and
the oligarchical elite (the merchant-usurers, British, Zionists, etc..).
In judging a party or faction there is only one question to ask,
which elite is manipulating it? Thus, there can be good or bad
communists, KKKers, or Nazis, depending on whose influence they are under.
In 1976, LaRouche ran for President as the candidate of the US Labor
Party, which he founded in 1971. He received 40,000 votes. the USLP's 140
candidates in 21 states received 154,000 votes, more than any other
left-wing party, but less than the right-wing American Party. In 1979,
LaRouche abandoned fringe parties forever, declaring his campaign for
the Democratic Party nomination as a 'conservative democrat.' This was
a shrewd move because the millions of Democrats who had voted for George
Wallace had no candidate in their own party except for LaRouche. His
total vote in all the 1980 primaries was 185,000 votes. In Connecticut he
got 1000 more votes than Jerry Brown. He also got over $500,000 in federal
campaign matching funds.
In 1984, LaRouche ran again but received only 178,000 votes in 13
primaries, and again received $500,000 in federal matching funds. He
spent an estimated 30 million dollars on the campaign, including his
post-primary campaign as an independent. All that television time costs
money. Collecting it got LaRouche in big trouble because his organization
engaged in some of the most fraudulent election money-gathering in
history. It's one thing to get your money from rich guys and lobbyists,
it's another to steal it from senile old ladies, as the government
indictment of LaRouche charged. This case is described very well in
Dennis King's book. About a dozen LaRouche assistants were indicted
and convicted. Many are still in jail, according to LaRouche's web page.

LaRouche went to jail too. Amazingly, he ran for President again in 1988,
1992, and he's running yet again in 1996, all the while claiming his
indictments were a CIA plot. Now LaRouche is out of jail and he has
found a friend named Stefan Lemieszewski, who posts LaRouche propaganda
all over the Internet. Or are you his friend, Mr. Lemieszewski?
I would be very happy to hear you deny it. I would be happy to
accept your apology for spreading LaRouche's crap here. Just
tell me you're not his friend. Tell me you didn't know what sort of
slimeball LaRouche is.
For instance, did you know about Margaret Beynen, age 83, from Berkeley,
California? Lyndon's people started calling her in 1985, telling her
that America's banking system was about to collapse, but her money would
be safe if she loaned it to LaRouche, who would use it to fight drugs,
and pay her 10% interest. Over and over they called, and four times
she gave them money, over $60,000, most of her life savings. Then they
asked her to forgive the loans, convert them to gifts. She refused.
They called her a selfish old woman. She sued and got a court order
attaching the assets of some local LaRouche organizers but most of
her money was gone.
Dennis King writes, "Thousands of elderly people have not been so lucky.
Most cannot obtain free legal counsel, and even those who can afford a
lawyer at the going rate are often too frightened, confused, or
embarrassed to sue. Many are in such poor health that even if they
did take legal action they probably would not live to see the suit and
the collection process through to the end."
"The amount of personal trauma has been enormous. As of mid-1987 Virginia
state investigators listed 4,500 questionable LaRouchian loan transactions
totaling $30 million in all fifty states and twelve foreign countries. Of
the 3,000 victims in these transactions, about 75% are senior citizens."
I've seen the LaRouche people hanging around the Ukrainian center myself,
always willing to give some older person a ride to a LaRouche rally.
The core of LaRouche's world view has the good 'humanists' fighting
the evil 'oligarchy'. You can decode exactly who LaRouche likes and
dislikes by noticing which of these elites he claims is controlling or
manipulating them. Larouche's heroes, the humanists, have had many names
over the last 5000 years: 'city-builders', Promethians, 'nation-builders,
neo-Platonists,' Thule, Atlantis, and more. His enemies, the oligarchy,
have an equally long string of synonyms: 'merchant-usurers', Babylonians,

LaRouche fancies himself a greater Marxist theoretician than Marx. He
tried the traditional Marxist techniques of organizing the working
class. He realized he was beating his head against the wall. He tried
the Leninist 'putsch' technique of taking over left with Operation Mop Up.
He tried the Trotskyist tactic of organinzing another 'International.'
His ultimate brilliant synthesis is to try to take over the right wing
with his cadre of well-disciplined leftists.
Interestingly, although LaRouche now bashes the Soviet Union (as if it
mattered), he has never apologized for his own Marxist past. Everything
he is doing now is an extension and prolongation of his life's work.
He developed his economic theory while organizing workers at the Lynn
River GE plant. Now he calls it the "Hamiltonian American system" but
is it anything but the 'dictatorship of the proletariat'?
According to the economic plan on his web page, titled "Why most Nobel
Prize Economists are Quacks," he describes his plan clearly. Within
48 hours after he takes power he will abrogate all present debts and
cancel the money. The Rothschilds and the British bankers will be
screaming in agony, their gravy train of sucking the country dry by
collecting their interest on the US national debt will grind to a halt.
All the Wall Street speculators will be left holding their worthless
Federal Reserve Notes, crying their greedy little eyes out.
His administration will create a new National Bank which will issue
money "to worthy infrastructure projects operating under authority of
emergency legislation, to vendors of those projects, and to other
designated high-priority purposes." All the 'surplus' profit will be
reinvested into the economy, which (according to LaRouche) will be
growing exponentially now that the parasitical 'speculators' have
been removed. Industrial workers will be in their glory and even
small merchants will be 'tolerated.' After all, Lenin had his NEP, too.
You never know how long any 'speculators' will be tolerated though.
Stalin labeled millions of Ukrainian farmers 'speculators' in 1933 and
confiscated their food. It's pretty easy to throw words around. Pay
attention to who's throwing them and what their goals are.
That's why I was surprised when you said you were a corporate banker,
Mr. Lemieszewski. Were you a participant in this parasitical banking
system, or were you a secret spy on the operation of the banking
oligarchy? Like LaRouche says, "It's a matter of knowing not only
where, but how to look."
Remember what LaRouche wrote in 1970: Ideology is mostly designed
for the purpose of deceiving. What difference is there between
Marxism and Hamiltonianism if the result is the same?
While I'm at it, I might as well bring up the topic of Zionism.
You know LaRouche is against Zionism. In fact, many Jews are
against Zionism too. I heard there is a Jewish sect that believes that
the Jews will not be permitted to inhabit Israel until the Messiah
comes, so they are anti-Zionist. And LaRouche says the real anti-Semites
are the Zionists, who use the Jews on behalf of the "British" oligarchy.
Look, look, look, look! This gets pretty weird, pretty fast.
So who are the British? According to LaRouche's article on his web
page entitled "The New International Terrorism," "'Britain' or
'British' does not mean institutions of self-government representing
the population of the United Kingdom." That's a quote. A little
further in the next sentence, LaRouche continues "In 1603, England
ceased to exist as a nation, and became instead a virtual plantation,
a virtual colony of an international, Anglo-Dutch financial oligarchy."
Well if the 'British' oligarchy is bad, who is good? After December,
1981, when General Jaruzelski cracked down on the Solidarity labor
movement and imprisoned thousands of Poles, Executive Intelligence
Review printed dozens of articles with titles like "Hands Off Poland"
in support of Jaruzelski. An editorial in the NCLC's New Solidarity
claimed that Jaruzelski's "broad purge" was necessary to get rid of
"hardcore British intelligence proteges."
Amazingly, LaRouche denounces Gorbachev but calls Brezhnev a
'nation-builder'. When he denounces the Soviet Union, the most evil
thing he can think of to compare it to is Mt. Athos, the Orthodox
Church's Holy Mountain. "It is about time someone bombed the
Holy Mountain, its monks, its monasteries, and everything in it.
Bomb it thoroughly, systematically, and completely so nothing of
its evil legacy survives," -Executive Intelligence Review, 2/21/86.
Well, I could go on Stefan, but it's getting late. I'd like you to
tell me I'm wrong, that you can't possibly be supporting LaRouche.
Tell me all the posts with your name are forgeries. Tell me how a
nice Ukrainian banker like you can be hooked up with a turd like
LaRouche. Go ahead tell me, but say it in your own words.
