Errant "Dr. Who" Story in DailyMail

How my dad dodged being exterminated by a Dalek... and became the
first man to kiss Doctor Who's companion.

Ummmmmmm ... NOT entirely factual. "The Doctor" character,
the original, Hartnell, introduced "Daleks" in the second
story arc way WAY back. The first arc involved "cave people"
and, escaping from them, Doc and the team (including the
"grand-daughter") wind up on the radiation-permeated Dalek
home-world.
And the "grand-daughter" was the sexy one.
I have an old tape of these episodes. You MIGHT also find
them on "PlutoTV" though it's stuff is more Doc-2/3.
