The Genetic Linkage between the Mongols and the Turks
<Picture>Mongolian Blue Spot is an inherited birthmark found in many, but not
all Mongolians, Turks, some Greeks, and many Asians and Native Americans. It is
also commonly found among the Melungeon people of the Southern United States,
who also claim Turkish origin.
The position varies but is generally just between the lower spine and the top
of the buttocks. It resembles a dent, bluish in colour (hence the name) and
often fades with age. It is not abnormal to have this condition which is merely
a genetic marker showing the Mongol origins of the tribes which seeded the
Turks.
Why is this Greek charachter trying prove that Greeks may also have Mongolian
origins? What is this Greek obsession with the Mongolians?

In your simple dilapidated mind, you think it is an insult to the Turks
to be associated with Mongols. First of all, this shows your extreme
disdain for the Mongol nation as a whole which is a very racist barbaric
attitude though it is no surprise coming from a Greek.
Secondly it shows your hidden inferiority complex towards the Turks.
When a little child cannot beat another child, he yells "jack ass" to
him and runs away. Not because the other child is realy a jack ass but
it is because he cannot beat him any other way.
Thirdly, the Turks don't even take this as an insult. "Turks are related
to the Mongols" you say. I say "Yawn! So what?"

Starters' information: "Tagma" is the nickname of a racist Greek who has such
barbaric ideas.

In article <36E92B95...@ultranet.com>, ozgur says...
Ozgur, this "Mongolian Spot" originated around 3-4 years ago from some
Armenian's granpa's fantasies. His name was Garen Arevian from a potato
network in the UK.
The Armenians were terrified that they had this "spot"...I have no idea
what it is, but if you can search dejanews, if the old records are there
you will see it.
To make their insidious story short, this mysterious "Mongolian Spot"
seems to haunt the dreams of these folks, one has to wonder why, and
whether as a Palestinian " friend" told me many years ago, "if part of
me, like my hand was Turkish, I would cut it off". Let's hope all these
"spotted" fools do that, cut off their lower limbs and be forever
crippled:))
Why not? After all, they may be (in their fantasy driven minds), Turks
or "Mongolians"....
I don't think the Mongolians know anything about this, those poor people
are still trying to adjust to a liberalized economy and their
dislocations have been so hard on especially the children, who have
become beggars.I would suggest, let the Balkan fiends say as they will,
shows how scared they are because of the 400 pleats of the Evzones
skirts that signify the 400 years of Ottoman domination.:)))
And to think they even have a language now or a religion, if the Turks
were as bad as the Hapsburgs:)))
A big SO WHAT??? It is not a secret that many greeks have turkish blood in
their veins, and there are many happily married Turkish-Greek couples
nowadays. I have a Greek friend, and she does not hide her Turkish origins.
I am sure when mentioning the blue spots found in Greek people, Tagma meant
the Greeks who had Turkish ancestors. Who knows, maybe even mongol ones,
it's a small world after all. I personally know Mongolian-Greek couple, most
certainly their children have blue spots. And I do not see anything fascist
in the post by Tagma. Moreover, surfing thru the greek and turkish newsgroups
gives me a totally opposite idea. What is up with all this Turkish
superiority? Smells much like Aryan Race ideology for me.
