The Dalai Lama is no saint. He's been quoted as supporting the US war
in Iraq. He condones all the murders of innocent Iraqi civilians.
The current Dalai Lama should be thrown out and replaced with a new
Dalai Lama who supports peace.
I'm not saying Maoist rebels are good, but the majority of the
violence blamed on "Maoist rebels" is actually committed by the royal
armies. This is what happens in Nepal: the royal army murders
villagers, then claims the villagers were killed by "Maoist rebels".
Nepal asks the USA for aid to help fight the "Maoist rebels". The USA
gives the king of Nepal millions of dollars in aid and weapons. The
Nepali royal army uses the new aid to kill even more Nepali villagers,
again blaming the killings on Maoist rebels. Then the king of Nepal
tells the USA he needs even more aid, and the situation spirals out to
more dead Nepali villagers, more money for the king of Nepal, and more
suffering for USA citizens as all the money is handed out to foreign
nations. From what I've heard, most villagers side with the rebels as
the lesser of two evils. I believe the USA is aiding Nepal now as a
strategy to use Nepal as a base for positioning against China (and
India if India ever becomes part of the so-called "Axis of Evil").
In America, I think negatively of anyone who wears "Free Tibet"
clothing or puts a "Free Tibet" license on their car. I associate
"Free Tibet" with support for the war against Iraq (because of the
Dalai Lama's comments) and the framing of Maoist rebels for murders
committed by the royal army of Napel.
As to India, didn't the British hire Nepalis as mercenaries to murder
people in India? Nepal helped Britain control India, so it's karma if
they get annexed by China. Also karma if Tibet stays controlled by
China because the Dalai Lama condones Iraq being controlled by the
USA.

IMO that's another case of whiteman's guilt in America. USA was built
on ground soaked in Native American's blood. Obvious reality is they
can't give back the land to the Native Americans to the detriment of
existing US statehood. So what do they do? They vent their embrassment
and frustrations on China; they wear "Free Tibet" t-shirts that cost
fifty bucks so they can again put other people down in order to feel a
little better about themselves.
Do they really care what instability, chaos, bloodshed, would occure
if China is forced to keep down the Tibetans the way USA has kept down
the Native Americans? What China has done pales in comparison with
what US has done to the Native Americans to date. Yes, TO DATE -
subjugation of Tibet and Native America both continue today.

Most intellegent people think negatively of people such as yourself who

The Dalai Lama has pleaded for a long time to free Tibet. He has
appealed to the world to boycott Chinese(mainland) made goods. We can
at least do this

And there's a response from a Buddhist saying he/she wishes the US
should attack even more countries! It's because of people such as
this why I'm not affiliated with any major religion. Judiasm, white
Xtianity, and Hinduism obviously stink, various people claiming to be
Islamic aren't very good, and Buddhism is corrupt if their spiritual
leader is a chicken hawk.
