A Dutch guy who had a quarrel with his former Thai wife left her to go to
the airport. What he didn't know was that she (and her new boyfriend) were
under surveillance.
Just after he left her the police stopped her and her boyfriend and found a
big amount of heroine.
The Dutch guy was also stopped in his taxi on the way to the airport. They
arrested him on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficing. He was aquitted
in court because all the witnesses said he had nothing to do with the deal
of his late wife. Even his late wife said so.
The state appealed and he was kept in prison ( already declared NOT guilty
by a lower court) for the last two years. Last friday he got LIFE !!!!
The Dutch government has called the ambassador to explain what has happened.
I suspect that he'll be aquitted and expelled to Holland in due time but he
already spent years in the most harsh conditions.
It just shows that it's wise to stay a looooooooong way away from the stuff
in Thailand AND from anyone who deals with the stuff.

And people do stay a long way away from that shit for fear of what the
government will do. Opposite here in the west, that shit is everywhere. Your
government is serious about its objectives when it comes to illegal drugs.

At least in the west you will get a fair trial....this man is innocent....
Its all right a government being serious about drugs, but it must also be
fair!!!!

No evidence was presented by Kees Franken as to the Dutch man's innocence or
guilt. In fact all we know is that he had a quarrel with his wife and that
some indeterminate number of "witnesses" denied his involvement. How do we
know he wasn't involved? Why did the state appeal if he was obviously
innocent?

IMO: Heroin is nowadays quite expensive - so - if they found a large
amount there must be something. To set up a foreigner anything over 30
gram is enough (nuff said), however that would and does not qualify
for a large amount!

This is a typical Thai-style KIGong.
People will never learn.
