Mathyamavathi, hindolam, mohanan, sudhdha dhanyasi and sudhdha sAveri
can look alike in film music as in film music graha bEdam is so very
common. In the single film song just by the graha bEdam one Raga can
be made to sound like another. (iLaiyarAjA does a lot of experiments)
It is very difficult to catagorize the songs into one of this raga.
However, we can find some definitive pattern

Actually it uses the same swarams as mohanam
sa ri ga pa dha sa except that the dha is d1 and not d2 as in mohanam.

This seems to be Hamsaanandhi.
BTW, can someone explain what grahabaedham is? I have been hearing this term of late from Mr. Murali Seetharaman. I know about sruthibaedham but this term is peculiar to me.
