Which is correct ? MATH or MATHS?. Maths is the colloquial way of
expressing Mathematics. Maths refers to Algebra, Geometry, Trignometry,
Calculus etc. In north Americaan english they call it Math. I cannot
find the meaning of it in the Oxford Dictionary?, MATH sounds like MOTH.
The British system of education introduced in Sri Lanka refered to Pure
Mathematics, Applied Mathematics. How do the North Americans refer
Applied Maths ( Dynamics, Hydro Statics, Statics, Hydro Dynamics)?.

Few other distorted words are:
Color - Colour
Check - Checque

If they spell as per pronunciation why cannot they spel Queue as Q ?

"Routing of traffic" is pronunced in a funny way by the Americans.
