Here are the solutions and result of MIME-2 (The second of "Muthu
IngE MAlai EngE" quizzes). Thanks a lot for the excellent response.
Thanks also to Senthil Kandasamy for reposting the quiz from his
site, and suggesting that it be reposted in rec.music.indian.misc.
These helped the quiz reach more people. Thanks to the netters who
pointed out the mistakes in the questions/clues.
A lot of the participants have complimented us on our choice of
songs, and clues. Thanks, guys/gals... it was fun all the way, and
we enjoyed it!
Now that the formalities are over.. on with the results/answers!
Though few of you mentioned it in your answers, I'm sure many of you
would have guessed the theme for the quiz - it was "KELvi". i.e. all
the songs had a question in the first line. To those of you who got
the theme, I wonder if it helped in guessing some of the songs?

Since the clues were pretty simple, I have been a bit strict in
the evaluation, but not too much so :) I just checked for correctness
of the first 2-3 words, and ignored errors in the following words
(e.g. "RAthiriyil poothirukkum thAmaraithAn *kaNNO*" was accepted,
but "pAdavA *en* pAdalai" was considered wrong). Yup - the quiz
master's decision *is* final! :)
