Before this KB came to cine field as the story and dialogue writer. This
is his Maidan directorel film.He wrote the story and dialouges for
Thaivath Thai, Sarvar Sundaram, Motor Sundaram Pillai also. The very
first song recorded for this is "Adi Adamgum Vazhkaiyada". It is also
first film for V.Kumar. KB was working as a assistant in AG's office
before he came to cine field.

It run for more than 650 Days in Safaire at Madras as Noon Show. It is a
record break. A guy watched that movie more than 25 times within 100 days
in Hydrabad. Padathin peiyar pola "Azhiyadha Kavaiyam" than.

You didn't miss single movie in Tamil. One more very good job from a

Few more informations Nagesh acted more films of KB after Kamal Hasan.
Kamal acted in KB's films from Arangetram to Nool Veli without break. It
is record.
Kannadhasan wrote 32 saranam for Apporvaragangal within 30 mins or 1 hour.
But it took more than 3 days for KB and MSV to choose "Ezhu
Surangalukul...".
Ammerjan, Vasanth, Visu, Mouli are all from KB's school. KB introduced
many and many artists to Tamil Cinema. Now he is working for a Tele Serial
"Kai Alavu Mansu".
His "Rail Senegam" is the most populas tele serial. KB proved that he can
give any thing from Drama to Tele Serial in that serial.

I can rmember only 3 songs .One is "azhagaana ilam mangai" , the other one is "thappu thaalangal vari thavariya paadlgal" and

I think you are talking about Thappu Thalangal. Yes it is a big flop
commercially like other KB films. For your information KB films are mainly
popular in Cities and Town. It is not popular in B&C areas. Because those
days people only think about MGR and Sivaji. Now only the trend is
changed. People talk about direction, dance, music,etc. In the cities and
towns it is advanced and people started talking about Editing, Special
effects etc.

Even vulgarity goest to such a extent. He put the caption "indha vasanam
Neekapattadhu". But we have to digest that. Because many people are like
Sarita(That charecter in the film) in our country. That is the reality.
Many rowdies are there like Rajini. Since you can't digest the story you
can't rate that as 'D'.

This film originally taken for Kannada. You can see many Kannda artists in
that film.
In Kannada the song "Thaapu Thalangal, vazhi thavariya padhangal" is
"Thapitha Thalamu, ....".
The editing and the camera are good in that Black & White film. I think
that is the last Black & White film from KB. I am not sure.

Enga Oor Kanagi, Patham Pasali and recently his tele serial Kai Alavu
Mansu.

Not only this, many KB's films bombed in the box office. Ra.Ma.Aranganal
KB padatha eduthu lost lot of money. But he earned back all in Aval Oru
Thodarkadhai, Mundru Mudichu and finnally from Maro Charithra.

Here two things. First "Englishisation(!!)" is wrong,
Second, It is not KB's film. It was directed by C.V.Sridhar. Gemini,
Bharathi, Sarojadevi acted in that film. I got this info just few minutes

I also thought it was done by MSV. But V.Kumar mentioned in his interview
(A year ago ie. May 94 in DD's malarum ninaivugal) that he had a taugh
time for composing for "Katrukena Veli.." in Avargal. As I know that after
"Sollathan Ninaikiren" VK didn't compose music for KB.If I am correct, MSV
didn't compose after Thaneer Thaneer.

But it was remade into Malayalam, Srividya handled Sujatha's role. Nagesh
acted in Kamal's part. adha the remake Padam Konjam kuda nalla illai.No
one acted well. It was not directed by KB also.BTW oru vasanam from
Avargal at the climax when Kamal running along with the slow moving train
and telling Sujatha "Anu, kadhalichadha kadhalikita sollalena andha
Kadhaluke Artham illai".

I agree with that, but in 90 he made a such decent love story. That is KB.
Indha padam KB senjukudhutha sathyathukaga eduthadhu. That is when Kovai
Chezian wanted to take a film with MGR. MGR advised him to arranage for
KB. But KB told KS that I couldn't direct MGR, his films are different
from mine."Eppadiyavu idha MGR kitta sollidunga, neenga enniki kettalum
nan padam panni tharen ana MGR avargalai vaithu ennal direct saiya
mudiyadhu". Then KS told MGR "Avar (ie KB) onnum sari illeega thalivare,
ella padamum failurethan" appadinu solli samachuttaru anna 14 varusham
kazhichu, when he wanted to take a film with his favorite actor Mommooty,
(Which was his 2nd film with Mommooty), Mommooty told "Mudhal padam
avvalava odala, adhanala KB madhiri oru nalla directra pottu padam edutha
nalla irrukum". So KS went KB's house and asked him to direct for his
production. That time KB replied
"Enna Chezhiyan ippa vandhu kekireenga, nan en sondha padagaluku mattum
than direct pannaradhunu policy vechureken", KS asked him "Ennaku neenga
senjukudha sathiyatha marandhuteengala? adhuvum illama Mammooty Neenga
direct panna avarukum popularity kidaikum appadni neenaikirar". Then KB
accepted to direct that film and did that in a very short time.

Claimaxa mattum vechu oru padha edai poda mudiyadhu. For example Kamal got
best actor award for Mundram Pirai, esply for the claimax. I can't accept
that claimax, because Seenu (Kamal's charecter in Mundram Pirai) is a
teacher. A educated man. Appadi irukka, oru teacher adhuvum oru periya
Conventla velai saiyara teacher Polica pathu payandhu Bus, Taxi edhuvum
illama, roadla odi, serla vizhundhu, railway stationuku poi parthada
kandinadhu logic illa.

He also used some objects in his films. Those objects are also very
popular.
"File" in Irukodugal, "Mouthargan" in Mundru Mudichu, "Dalda Tin" in
Arangetram,Spoon & Letter in Sollathan Neenaikiren, "Letter Stand" (in
which Kamal clip the slips from Sri Priya) in Aval Oru Thodar
