Khorochaya idea! A chto tam budet? Maternye stikhi, chastushki ili prosto
slovar'? Ved' slov-to v MATE ne tak uz i mnogo, a vot razlichnye ih
kombinatsii......

P.S. Don't flame me too much, please...
With most people, it's due to a lack of education/small vocabulary, but
with some, it's due to too much.

Though I do not support swearing (and never do it myself) I'd like
to bring to your attention fact that Americans and Canadians swear
much often than Russians, even from TV screens. It just that their
'mat' is considered to be less offensive, but nevertheless...

NOT! I think we can uphold the honor of Sovoks being the most
profane people in the world, can't we guys ? (and girls, of course :-))
Actually, maybe we can't measure up to Mexicans and certain other Latin
American peoples in that sense but we are still the best, IMO!!! BTW, I
don't think I have heard a single "good" swearing expression on American
TV. There are four or five premium cable channels that have those oh-so-
dreaded R-rated movies, in which people swear but whether they swear too
much or swear better than Russians is not even a moot point -- the answer
is definitely "yes", if you consider movies, video, music and so on but
it's definitely "no," if we are talking about everyday life :-) Also, I
think it's beginning to become more of the same level of profanity in the
mass media in Russia as it is now in USA -- thanks to "winds of change."

Keep smiling,
Greg
First of all, I like your address.
Next, I have some strange feelings on how our American fellow
programmers use Russian mat. E.g. recently I discovered a program
titled "ebuttons". And of course my all times favorite is an OS/360
utility IEBISAM [ for those who don't speak mat it means "And f*ck
(it) yourself" ]. It was especially impressive when this line combined
with JOB directive was printed out using Russian letters.
So, the question is does anybody know more examples?
Regards,
Victor
