Western folks consider posting your addresses

A number of people have asked what I meant by asking for (western) people
to start posting their addresses.
What I meant was for western readers of talk.politics.soviet,
soc.culture.soviet to post their:
name
home or business address
phone/fax numbers (perhaps)
e-mail address (perhaps)
The most important actually I think is the regular "surface" or snail-mail
address. This is because while e-mail is nice, it can more easily be cut.
So while "snail-mail" is inherently slower... it could in the end be of
the most use. But offering any mode of communication ... would certainly
be great.

Someone posted some time ago a message on the need not to clog these
bboards. I have already seen close to 50 address postings, wouldn't
that be enough? My concern is that in an attempt to be
helpful, we don't end up causing problems. Of course, people with
special knowledge (of Soviet languages, e.g.) or contacts should
continue to post, but it would appear that the rest of the addresses
can stop now. Netters more knowledgeable than I who have reason to
know that such address postings should continue can of course overrule
my suggestion.
