My wife had some x-rays taken while in SA and I need a translation
into English for insurance purposes. I would appreciate it very much.

Hello, I think the best woulf be if you went back to the doctor who took
these x-rays. I'm not sure whether there are any medical professionals
on the group, and I don't think that a layman can translate this properly.
Anyway, sorry, but the people on this group sometimes react a little
strange to posts in English.

Hope this helps!

Dear Sammacel

I think you should ask the Doctor who gave you the report for a
translation. There are far too many medical terms, and no Doctors on
this group... We could try to translate it for you, but the result
could be disastrous.

Good luck

I do not think that your insurance will
accept a private translation from a news-
group as evidence for insurance purposes.
Therefore I think you will have to go
another route. Why not contact the SA High
Commission in London for an official
translation.

However, if it will be of any help, I will
sum up some of the findings as best I could
for your own private use.

(1) There is evidence in the thoracic aorta
of systemic hypertension.
(2) Although there are signs of hyperinflation
in the heart and lung area, there are
no masses in the lungs.
(3) There is osteoporosis in the lumbar area
and hips, where they found signs of previous
lumbar fusions.
