What is the Scottish pronounciation of the name "Mairead"? I'm told the Irish
pronounce it MY-raid or ma-RAID, depending on the area.

I've only known one Mairead in Scotland and she pronounced it My-red

Yes it is Ma-Raid I am a naturalised Irish citizen lived there for 20 years it's one of the most common Irish names
