I have nothing against them; in fact, as Religions go,
theirs is usually far less annoying than most others!

(I'm quite partial to Zen Buddhists [although you can
take those Western Nichiren Shoshu bastards and
lump them in with the Scientologists so far as I'm
concerned - bloody materialistic scum]. And Amish
folk fascinate me as the best example of people trying
to actually Walk the Christian Walk as well as Talk
the Talk [although their fetish against technology and
their Puritanism is somewhat disturbing to me]. And
Native American Wakan Tanka Spirituality is rather
pleasant and shares many tenets of Buddhism, but
the Animism may or may not present a problem.)

As far as Spirituality and Philosophy go, I quite like
the ideas put forth by one Yeshua of Nazareth, a
renegade First Century rabbi who rocked the orthodox
world of the Pharisee Phundamentalists with his radical
Socialist ideas, combining as they did Spirituality and
good Social Practice: redistribution of wealth, charity,
tolerance, paying of taxes willingly, legal forbearance,
equality, and personal liberty and responsibility. Of
course, they killed him for it.

But "hate atheists" - ? Nahhh - I just don't like it
when they (or anyone else) tries to proselytise me!

*/:~D Probably. You have to keep in mind
just *how many* Christmas Events I had to
attend - each with its requisite share of Nog,
Grog, Wassail, or other Mulled Beverage.

(Not to _mention_ the Champagne - oh please,
please, *don't mention it*!!!!!)

And talk about Figgy Pudding! (Oh alright, there
wasn't any actual Figgy Pudding; but there was
plenty of food which *might just as well have been*
Figgy Pudding - and a damned good thing too, for
it was the only thing standing between my brain
and the alcohol! So you'll forgive me, I hope, if I
wasn't quite capable of understanding your wee
jhoke at 8:30AM the Day After...

I had planned to send you several excellent pamphlets on Modern
Conservatism.
No point to it now I suppose.

While you're about that, please include some on
'Dictatorial Democracy' and 'Harmful Benefits' as
well, would you? (Oh, and perhaps any treatise
on 'Oxygen For Morons' that you run across in
your studies.)
