A father-of-one who told yobs to stop throwing snowballs at his
window was viciously attacked and left for dead on his own doorstep.

Phil Dobson, 52, was repeatedly kicked in the head and body during the
assault and left sprawled in his front garden in sub-zero
temperatures.

The hospital worker managed to drag himself back inside and said it
was only down to luck that he is still alive.
