No matter where you look, money for culture is being decreased everywhere.
The Swiss Pro Helvetia culture foundation, for instance, will have to
reduce its budget by a quarter in the future. Contrariwise, the city of
Biel, and indirectly the communities of the region too, will have their
cultural budget increased by half a million. The jealousy of cultural
circles far and wide is occasionally downright audible. However it's still
too early to breathe a sigh of relief ...
