1. Actually there are no "Sikh Gotras", what we have are Jat, Khatri,
Rajput etc. gotras. The gotras are social entities and have nothing to
do with Sikh faith. Lists of Jat and Khatri gotras are available in the
literature.
[There are several thousand Sikh Brahmins who use Brahmanical gotras.]
2. I have seen the belief that some Sikhs (specifically some Jats) are
converted Muslims. However all the mentions that I have seen are about
Hindus accepting Sikh faith. Are there any recorded examples of any
Muslims becoming Sikhs after formal establishement of the Sikh faith?
It is easy for a Hindu to beome a Sikh, because that does not require
him to leave his community. However, a Muslim does not remain a Muslim
if he becomes a Sikh.
3. It should be noted that a large fraction of the population in Haryana,
Rajstan and Western UP are Jat. Outside of Punjab, practically all Jats
in India are Hindu, some with strong Arya Samaj influence. A large
fraction of the Pakistani Punjab is also Jat.

Sandhu, Randhawa, Bajwa, Virk, Dhanoa are Majhail Jat Sikhs
from the areas of Lahore, Sialkote, Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Lyallpur
(Faisalabad) TaranTaran as this area is what the real real PUNJAB
is, the heart of Punjab, with most concentration of population and
is agriculturally most productive.
Most Khatri Hindus/Sikhs/Muslims from this area are Malhotra, Chawla,
Bedi, Kapoor, Khanna, Bhatia, Mehra, Trehan etc.
Doabi Jat Sikhs are Khaira, etc.
