The thing is that you want to give a scape route to those that don't want to
accept it.

Si eso fuera cierto hace rato Puerto Rico fuera independiente. La
verdad no grita. Con ese desespero tuyo de querer convencer que ya mismo
viene lo que en realidad hace es demostrar que eres una persona desesperada
tratando de convencerse asi mismo de que es verdad cuando en el fondo saben
que ya perdieron hacer raaaaato.......

Mijo, por lo menos se original, citar a Ferré es como citar un miembro
del directorio del PNP.

Y de vez en cuando, la verdad hay que gritarla, hay mucho sordo que no

1.  Si interpreto bien la lógica de este tío todo lo siguiente es muestra que la independencia de PR está a la vuelta de la esquina:
 
    a.  El cabildeo de congresistas y del DOD aprovechando el rollo que formaron los boricuas con el "range" de Vieques para traer esas actividades para acá;
 
    b.  La substitución del código 936 por otro que mas o menos ofrece las mismas ventajas del primero; y
 
    c.  La corrupción de funcionarios del gobierno de las presente y pasadas administraciones en la isla de PR.
 
2.  ¿Habrá algún otro caos que quiera este erudito relacionar como indicativo que la independencia de PR está a la vuelta de la esquina?
 
3.  Lo que demuestra la erudición de este biólogo boricua es que todo buen congresista y funcionario del DOD con bueno cabildeadores no dejaría pasar tan oportuna situación para traer las actividades militares en PR para CONUS.  El que los boricuas quieran verlo de otra menara nos resulta mucho mas conveniente.  " Pull my arm! "
 
4.  Los incentivos de exención contributiva para las corporaciones están siendo substituidos sino me equivoco por otros bajo un nuevo código que entrará en vigor de mediados a fines de la presente década.  En fin ,que los incentivos para las corporaciones invertir en PR seguirán sin cambio significativo.  Sería otro cantar que las corporaciones decidan no invertir en PR por otras razones que nada tienen que ver con incentivos sobre impuestos: clima de inversión no sea favorable por condiciones político socioeconómicas, criminalidad, corrupción, alto costo de mano de obra, u otras razones.
 
5.  El Bottom Line es que este tío parece como un pez fuera del agua dando sus últimos aletazos antes de morir.  Ya no le queda que mas inventarse.  Que quede esto dicho para el récord y por la historia.

No not really. I see a number of posts that refer to "white trash" ala
Lizzie Grubman, but it's unclear what message you are saying.

Are you saying America is nothing but White Trash?

Are you using racial epithets to describe all white people in the US?

Are you saying something altogether different?

When Independence garners support from more than 20% of Puerto Ricans you
might possibly have a point about the groundswell of support for it.

Unlike you, I'd be perfectly willing to accept whatever route Puerto
Ricans on the island choose. If they choose Statehood or Independence,
I'm ok with either solution. You, on the other hand, can't make the same
claim.
