JEWS AND THE WHITE SLAVE TRADE

Steven Spielberg's pseudo-historical film about a 19th-century mutiny
and massacre aboard a Spanish slave ship, _Amistad,_ and the subsequent
trial of the Black mutineers is being praised by the reviewers.
Spielberg, one of the wealthiest and most successful of Hollywood's
Jewish film makers, also is being praised by his kinsmen in various
so-called "human rights" organizations for using his propaganda skills
to sensitize White, Gentile audiences to the horrors of slavery and make
them feel just a little more guilty for treating non-Whites so badly in
the past. What the film doesn't mention, of course, is that Spielberg's
Jewish kinsmen owned many, though not all, of the ships involved in the
18th- and 19th-century Atlantic trade in Black slaves and, in fact,
played a very prominent role in bringing Black slaves to America.

The film rather tends to steer one away from blaming anyone for slavery
except White Gentiles. This bit of misdirection is interesting in light
of the fact that Jews have been dominant in the slave trade since at
least Roman times -- especially the trade in White slaves. Jewish slave
dealers followed Caesar's armies everywhere -- into Gaul, into Germany,
and into other northern lands -- eager to buy as slaves all of the
captives of the Romans -- especially the female captives. Jews have
remained dominant in the White slave trade until the present day --
although during the Middle Ages the Christian Church tried
unsuccessfully a number of times to stop them, beginning in the fifth
century with an edict by the emperor Theodosius II against Jews owning
Christian slaves. After being banned from owning or dealing in slaves by
one emperor, the Jews would wait until the next emperor came along, then
they would buy a charter giving them a monopoly in the slave trade. Then
public outrage against the Jews would grow until another emperor would
ban their slave-dealing again. Most of the time, however, the Jews were
the undisputed masters of the White slave trade, and that is still the
case today.

Interestingly enough, this fact was revealed in a recent news report in
the Jewish newspaper the _New York Times,_ of all places. The January 11
issue has a major article titled "Contraband Women" and written by a
Jewish reporter in Israel. The article deals specifically with the
Jewish trade in Ukrainian and Russian women -- although it doesn't label
the trade as "Jewish." What the report does say is this, and I quote:
"Centered in Moscow and the Ukrainian capital Kiev, the networks
trafficking women run east to Japan and Thailand, where thousands of
young Slavic women now work against their will as prostitutes, and west
to the Adriatic coast and beyond. The routes are controlled by Russian
crime gangs based in Moscow." end of quote What the reader must
understand is that these crime gangs don't have a real Russian in them.
They are entirely Jewish, but the agreed-upon subterfuge used by the
newspapers in this country is to refer to them as Russian rather than as
Jewish. Thus one reads in various news organs about the recent takeover
of organized crime in many areas of America -- especially the East Coast
and Los Angeles -- by Russian gangs and of the viciousness and
cleverness of these Russian gangsters, but there is never any mention of
the fact that they are not Russians at all, but Jews from the former
Soviet Union: Jews like Mr. Clinton's supporter Vadim Rabinovich,
photographed shaking hands with Clinton at a Miami fundraiser when he
was illegally in the United States, as I mentioned in my broadcast of
December 27.

The story of the exploitation of eastern Europe by the Jews is a
fascinating and infuriating story. Throughout the Middle Ages and into
the modern era they focused on profiting from the weaknesses and vices
of the Gentile populations of Poles, Russians, Ukrainians and others
among whom they lived as a barely tolerated minority. In addition to
being the moneylenders, they controlled the liquor business and owned
the drinking establishments, the gambling dens, and the brothels. A
number of 19th-century Russian writers, among them Dostoievski and
Gogol, have described their destructive effects on Slavic peasant
society and the perpetual condition of mutual hostility which existed
between the Jews and the Slavs.

During the 19th and early 20th centuries the Jewish trade in White
slaves from these lands expanded enormously. It has been described by
the Jewish historian Edward Bristow in his 1982 book _Prostitution and
Prejudice,_ published by Oxford University Press and Schocken Books in
New York. Although Bristow's book is written from the viewpoint of one
opposed to this Jewish trade in women, it is nevertheless enormously
revealing. The Jews recruited peasant girls in Polish and Russian
villages, usually under false pretenses, and transported them to
brothels in Turkey, Egypt, and other parts of the Middle East; to
Vienna, Budapest, and other major cities in the Austro-Hungarian Empire;
and as far away as New York, New Orleans, and Buenos Aires. This Jewish
trade in Slavic women naturally caused a great deal of hatred against
the Jews by the Slavs, and this hatred broke out in pogroms and other
popular actions against the Jews over and over again.

One would believe from the works of Mr. Spielberg and other Jewish
propagandists that the hatred the Slavs bore against the Jews was based
only on religious bigotry and that the Jews were completely innocent and
inoffensive. One fascinating fact which Bristow's book reveals is that
the center of the Jewish trade in Polish girls was in a little town
called Oswiecim. The German name for this town was Auschwitz.

I don't mean to imply that the Jews were the only ones at fault in the
White slave trade. Gentile politicians and police officials gladly
accepted bribes from the Jews and in return allowed them to carry on
their dirty business. And in the United States non-Jewish criminal
elements such as the Mafia collaborated with the Jews or even ran their
own White slave operations. But the trade in White slaves from eastern
Europe has been an exclusively Jewish activity for the last 200 years.

It is ironic that another Jewish enterprise, organized Marxism, put a
temporary crimp in the Jewish trade in Slavic women. When the Jewish
Bolsheviks seized control of Russia and Ukraine after the First World
War, and of Poland and other Slavic lands after the Second World War,
they clamped down on all capitalist activity, including that of their
Jewish brethren in the White slave business. What they did instead was
establish a huge empire of slave-labor camps, of which Alexander
Solzhenitsyn has written so eloquently. Jewish slave dealers became
commissars and slave camp bosses. And of course, they butchered their
Gentile opponents by the millions. The time of communism was the Jews'
time for getting rid of all of the Russian and Ukrainian patriots, who
had hated them for so long.

Actually, some capitalist activity did survive throughout the communist
years in the form of organized crime. Two excellent books on the subject
were published in the United States, both written by Soviet Jews
thoroughly familiar with organized crime in the Soviet Union. In fact,
one of the authors, Yuri Brokhin, was a former member of a Jewish
organized crime gang in Russia, where he worked as a pimp. His book,
_Hustling on Gorky Street,_ was published in 1975 by Dial Press. The
other author, Konstantin Simis, was a Jewish defense lawyer for
organized Jewish criminals. His book, _USSR: The Corrupt Society,_ was
published in 1982 by Simon and Schuster. Both of these Jewish authors
write quite frankly about the Jewish domination of organized crime
during the communist years. Brokhin brags about it, in fact. He says
Russians and other Slavs can only be ordinary criminals, depending on
guns and strong-arm tactics, but they aren't smart enough for
successful, large-scale organized crime; only Jews are smart enough for
that. A factor neither author mentions which was more important than
smartness was the connections Jewish criminals had with Jewish
communists in the Soviet bureaucracy. When Abe, who ran a prostitution
and drug racket in Moscow, could count on his cousin Hymie in the
prosecutor's office to keep him informed about police plans for raids,
as well as a little covert assistance if matters ever came to court, he
had a distinct advantage over his Russian competitors.

Eventually communism bled eastern Europe dry, and with the economies of
the countries under their control on the verge of collapse the
communists switched hats, declared themselves "democrats" instead of
communists, and announced a return to capitalism. The Jewish slave
dealers went back into business, and business was good for them. Other
Jewish communists went into business too. As the economies were
"privatized" -- that is, as state-owned factories and businesses were
sold to private entrepreneurs at bargain-basement prices -- Jews used
their connections with their now-"democratic" kinsmen in the
bureaucracies to snap them up. Other Jews, who had monopolized organized
crime during the Communist years, remained as organized crime bosses but
greatly expanded the scope of their operations. Often, the new
entrepreneurs and the new crime bosses are the same people.

The richest man in Russia today is Boris Berezovsky, who since the
collapse of communism has become a multi-billionaire by buying up banks,
television networks, and newspapers from the government, with the aid of
his fellow Jews still in the bureaucracy. Berezovsky speeds around
Moscow in a bulletproof vest and an armored limousine, and anyone who
gets in the way of his business interests has a tendency to get shot or
simply to disappear. Second only to Berezovsky in wealth is another
Jewish media mogul, Vladimir Gusinsky. Between them, Berezovsky and
Gusinsky control most of the mass media in Russia. They also exercise
pretty thorough control of Boris Yeltsin, Russia's alcoholic president,
who is sort of a Slavic version of Bill Clinton, plus vodka. It was only
through the support of Berezovsky's and Gusinsky's media that Yeltsin
won his last election.

If you remember, Clinton and all of the Jewish media in the United
States also were rooting enthusiastically for Yeltsin during that
election. They all were afraid that a genuine Russian patriot might beat
Yeltsin, in which case the Jewish control of Russia would have been
finished.

After the election, Yeltsin appointed Berezovsky to Russia's national
security council, but when some of the few media in Russia which still
are independent publicized Berezovsky's connections to Jewish organized
crime gangs, Yeltsin was forced to fire him. Yeltsin has made up for
that, however, by appointing another Jew, Boris Nemtsov, to the position
of deputy prime minister, one of the most powerful positions in the
government. One thing Yeltsin never has done, however, is make any move
to curtail the operations of Russia's organized Jewish crime gangs,
which are running rampant through the country and displaying their
wealth and power, while ordinary Russians struggle to feed themselves
and keep their homes warm this winter.

And tens of thousands of pretty but naive young Russian and Ukrainian
women are being swept up by the Jewish gangs -- called "Russian" gangs
by the _New York Times_ -- and shipped off to a life of misery and
degradation in Turkey, Pakistan, Thailand, and Israel, as well as to
countries in Western Europe, where Jews also control organized crime.
The young women, unable to find work in Russia or Ukraine or Poland and
facing a bleak future in countries ravaged by decades of communism, are
eager for any chance at a better life. They respond to advertisements
that offer them work abroad as receptionists or secretaries and also
promise free training and transportation. When the girls arrive at their
destinations, however, they find something quite different -- but by
then it is too late.

One of these girls, Irina, a 21-year-old, green-eyed Ukrainian blond,
was interviewed in Israel. She told how her Israeli employer took her to
a brothel soon after her arrival in Israel. He took her passport away
from her, burned it before her eyes, and told her that she now was his
property and must work in the brothel. When Irina refused, she was
beaten and raped. Luckier than most of the Slavic women lured to Israel,
Irina eventually was swept up in a police raid and sent to prison as an
illegal alien. She was awaiting deportation, along with hundreds of
other Russian and Ukrainian women, when she was interviewed. She
lamented the fact that the Israeli who had raped her and forced her to
work in the brothel was not even arrested. Indeed, according to Jewish
law, the rape of a Gentile woman is not illegal. Nor is it illegal in
Israel to buy and sell slaves, so long as the slaves are not Jewish.
Amazingly, the _New York Times_ article reveals this fact.

The White slave trade is big business in Israel. Ukrainian authorities
estimate that as many as 40,000 Ukrainian women under the age of 30 are
taken from Ukraine each year. Some of these women respond to
advertisements promising employment abroad, like Irina did, and some are
simply kidnapped and smuggled out of the country. Those who try to
escape from their Jewish captors are treated brutally. Often they are
butchered in front of other captive women to keep the others terrified
into doing whatever they are told. At slave markets operated by the
Jewish gangs in Italy young Slavic women are stripped, put on blocks,
and auctioned off to brothel owners.

The most astounding thing about this whole, filthy business is that most
people are forced to learn about it from a Jewish newspaper like the
_New York Times_. And really, you should read for yourself the article
to which I referred. It was in the January 11 issue, and the news is not
likely to be repeated. But ask yourself, why doesn't Interpol, the
international police agency, do something to put a stop to this White
slave trade? Why don't the governments of the countries from which the
women are being abducted do something? Why don't the mass media raise a
hue and cry? Why don't powerful feminist organizations demand the
eradication of White slavery?

And the answer to all of these questions is easy: they dare not do or
say anything because it is a Jewish business. In places like Germany,
where the Jews have almost total control of organized crime, anyone who
announces that fact publicly will be arrested and charged with inciting
racial hatred. Germany and most other European countries have laws
against what they call "hate speech." Saying anything negative about
Jews, true or not, invokes these laws. Jewish organizations -- and of
course, the Clinton administration -- would like very much to have
similar laws in the United States. Interpol, which has plenty of other
work to keep it busy, is not eager to be charged with "anti-Semitism" by
going after the Jewish White-slave gangs. Even if Interpol did arrest
the gangsters, it wouldn't do much good, because the fix is in nearly
everywhere. There's a huge amount of money made from selling women:
enough money to pay off politicians, bureaucrats, judges, and policemen.

Jews like to say about the so-called "Holocaust" of the Second World
War, "Never again." They like to talk about how it is necessary to stamp
out anti-Semitism and pass laws against so-called "hate speech," so that
there can never be another "Holocaust." But by their own behavior they
guarantee that there will be.

While some Jews beat the drums for more reparations payments from
Switzerland, Germany, France, and other countries they claim didn't
treat them right or took some of their ill-gotten gold from them 55 or
60 years ago, other Jews are still bleeding countries like Poland,
Ukraine, Russia, and the Baltic nations of money and of their young
women. Countries which suffered for decades under the brutal rule of
communist commissars are still being exploited by the same people, now
calling themselves "democrats."

The Jews believe that with their deathgrip on the mass media nearly
everywhere, with their puppets -- like Bill Clinton and Boris Yeltsin --
in positions of power in the East and in the West, with the enormous
wealth they have at their disposal, and with so many Gentiles buffaloed
by "Holocaust" propaganda of the sort cranked out by Steven Spielberg
and a hundred others, they can keep getting away with their exploitation
of us forever. But they are wrong. They themselves are building up the
hatred and the resentment and the rage which will destroy them all: the
gang members, the media bosses, the "advisers" to Bill Clinton and Boris
Yeltsin, the professional "Holocaust" wailers, the former commissars,
and all the rest, even those who are not currently involved in any of
these activities. They are guaranteeing that there will be another
"Holocaust." And this time it will be a real one.

One of the more infamous examples of this was in conjuntion with the Nazi
reprisal massacre at Lidice:

In regard to incinerating 1 million BSE-infected cows, one proposed number
is actually up to 4.5 million (including 600,000 newborn calves). The
annual number is to be 750,000 at a rate of 15,000 per week burned in
"high-temperature ovens." Excluding the newborn calves, that would be the
rough equivalent to between 32 million and 40 million "standard reference"
humans. On a weekly basis that would be roughly between 120,000 and
150,000 "standard reference" humans.

At Auschwitz, during Aktion Ho"ss, typically 9,000 to 12,000 victims were
incinerated per day. That would be bewteen 63,000 and 105,000 victims (a
great many of which were children) per week under non-stop conditions. It
should also be noted that about half of these victims were incinerated in
open-air trenches.

Considering that the proposed "mad cow" slaughter and carcass disposal
would exceed the body-mass of the victims incinerated at Auschwitz at its
peak operation, one is hard pressed to see how the Nazis performed any
"miracles." Rather, it simply confirms that such Nazi atrocities were
quite achievable from a technical standpoint.

FYI:

In regard to crematoria, modern crematoria are generally fueled by natural
gas (which allows for rapid heating) and are equipped with exhaust
scrubbers and afterburners to prevent air pollution. The crematoria at
Auschwitz were fuled by coke (thus requiring a longer pre-heat time) and
did not have scrubbers and afterburners. (cf. Iserson, _Death to Dust_,
p.262; Pressac, _Technique_, pp.108-111,137,284-285,288,314,329.)

In specific regard to the operating temperatures and refractory material,
the initial operating temperatures for modern crematoria furnaces are
aproximately between 1,100°F and 1,300°F. During cremation the retort
temperature can rise to 1,700°F and in some furnaces between 2,000°F and
2,500°F. In comparison, according to Tops's operating instructions, the
operating temperature for the coke-fired Topf ovens used at Auschwitz was
between 1,472°F (initially) and 2,012°F (during incineration). (cf.
Iserson, _Death to Dust_, p.262; Pressac, _Technique_, p.136.)

Clearly, given that there is no technical reason whatsoever that prevented
the Nazis from incinerating their victims like they did, "nationalist88"
is simply peddling more specious denier pablum.

In regard to the extermination camps -i.e. Chelmno, Belzec, Sobibor,
Treblinka, Majdanek, and Auschwitz, the numbers of eyewitness survivors
varies. At the Opweration Reinhard extermination camps (Belzec, Sobibor,
Treblinka), the combined total number of escapees probably numbers no more
than a few hundred. At Belzec, for example, there are only two known
survivors: Rudolf Reder and Chiam Hirszman. No more than 120-130 prisoners
from Sobibor and Treblinka survived the war. The other 1.7 million people
deported to the Operartion Reinhard extermination camps perished there.

At Auschwitz, in contrast, the number of prisoners to leave the camp was
far greater. This was primarily due to the dual nature of the gigantic
Auschwitz complex, which was part labor camp: Auschwitz I, Auschwitz III
(Monowitz) and aproximately 50 sub-camps; and part extermination camp:
Auschwitz II-Birkenau. Over the operational lifetime of Auschwitz some 1.3
million people were deported to the camp, with some 200,000 prisoners
being transferred from Auschwitz to other camps. Added to this total is
1,500 released prisoners, 500 escapees, and the 8,000 prisoners liberated
by the Red Army. Thus, the grand total of prisoners to actually leave
Auschwitz alive (but not necessarily to survive the war) was about
228,000. The other 1.1 million people deported to Auschwitz perished

Some insight to the soap _rumors_ (and _not_ the Danzig experiments) is

soap. Now the pedestrians in Lublin were saying it was the turn of the
Poles to be used - just like the Jews - for soap production.

There is more evidence that the news of the killing centers trickled into
Slovakia, not only in government circles but to the public as well. In
July 1942, a group of 700 ethnic German "asocial" were "resettled" from
Slovakia. As the asocials were about to leave, a rumor began to circulate
that the "resettlers" would be "boiled into soap" (zur Seife verkocht
werden). That rumor referred to the popular belief that the Germans in the
killing centers were turning human fat into soap cakes. (We may recall
that in October 1942, an identical rumor was spread in the
_Generalgouvernement district of Lublin. Probably the rumor originated
there.

On July 29, 1942, the chief of the ethnic Germans in Slovakia, Karmasin,
had written a letter to Himmler in which he described the "resettlement"
of 700 "asocial" ethnic Germans. One of the difficulties, wrote Karmasin,
was the spreading of the rumor (furthered by the clergy) that the
"resettlers" would be boiled into soap" (das die Aussiedler "zur Seife
verkocht werden"). In October, 1942, the Propaganda Division in the Lublin
district reported the rumor circulating in the city that now it was the
turn of the Poles to be used, like the Jews, for "soap production" (Die
Polen kommen jetzt genau wie die Juden zur Seifenproduktion dran).

We are not concerned here with the question whether soap cakes of human
fat were produced in the killng centers (the answer is propbably not) or
whether such cakes were produced at all. To us the importance of the soap
rumor lies in its effectiveness as a carrier of information about the mass
killings. In 1942 that rumor had already been recorded in two different
places, Lublin and Bratislava. Such spacing indicates that the rumor had a
powerful impact and a wide distribution.

intended) miracle and were able to exterminate and dispose of more pounds

JEWISH RITUAL MURDER

CHICAGO, 1955

The Jewish community in Chicago, one of the wealthiest in the world, has
always exercised an extremely powerful degree of behind the scenes
influence in the Windy City, an influence just as pervasive and powerful
(if not more so) as that of the Italian organized crime syndicates, all the
more sinister for being far less visible.

In October of 1955 four White children, two young boys who were brothers
and two teenaged sisters, were abducted and murdered in a manner which was
suggestive of Jewish ritual sacrifice, the liturgical object of which is to
obtain Gentile blood to mix with the matzoh used in several esoteric Jewish
religious ceremonies such as Purim, Passover, and Kol Nidre at Yom Kippur.
These were the Schuessler boys and the Grimes girls. Both cases remain
officially unsolved despite hundreds of man-hours of investigation by the
Chicago police. The Grimes case in fact featured on an episode of UNSOLVED
MYSTERIES several years ago, but the show produced no further leads.

The cases shared certain characterstics in common. Both the boys, aged six
and eight respectively, and the girls aged thirteen and fifteen were found
nude, and yet none had been sexually assaulted. According to the
pathologists' reports they had been kept alive for some time after they
were reported missing, although the unusually cold weather in which the
bodies were exposed impeded fixing an exact time of death. The corpses
showed ligature marks on the wrists and ankles, indicating that they had
been tied or restrained. All the victims had been tortured with mostly
small, shallow cuts and puncture wounds, none sufficient to cause death of
itself. The official cause of death was listed as blood loss and shock due
to blood loss and exposure; the childrens' bodies were "drained of blood".

Further peculiarities were observed in the PATTERN of the torture. The two
female victims had been tormented by repeated puncture wounds on the upper
torso, thighs and buttocks, suggesting a sadistic sexual element in the
killers' motivations, but the two young male victims had been transfixed
through the hands, wrists, and feet by larger weapons similar to nails or a
carpenter's awl, inflicting wounds very similar to the so-called stigmata,
the wounds of Christ.

What is interesting about these cases is not the unsolved murders
themselves, but the view which for once we are given of the lengths to
which the Jews will go to cover up suspected ritual murder cases. In view
of the intense public interest in the case there was of course a lot of
media reporting. The Chicago Daily News published an afternoon edition
detailing the ritualistic nature of the wounds inflicted on the Schuessler
boys, comparing it to an earlier case wherein a boy named Peterson had been
found dead with the same kind of wounds, and speculating that members of a
"religious cult" might be involved. Within ten minutes of the edition
hitting the street, trucks were sent out to bring them all in; all copies
were ripped off the newstands and taken back to the News building where
they were burned.

Eight copies of this issue were obtained by a woman named Mrs. Lyle Clark
Van Hyning who published a conservative journal called Women's Voice. When
she called the Daily News office to ask why the paper had been recalled she
was told that there had been "complaints" about it and it was likely to
cause "racial unrest". Mrs. Van Hyning had her own suspicions and sent the
father of the two murdered boys, Arnold Schuessler, a copy of Arnold
Leese's definitive work JEWISH RITUAL MURDER.

Schuessler read the booklet and was stunned by what he learned. He then
made the mistake of going to the police and demanding that the possible
ritual murder angle in his sons' death be investigated. The Cook County
Sheriff of the time was a Jew named Sam Lohman, and he immediately placed
Mr. Schuessler under arrest on suspicion of killing his own children. A
Jewish deputy named Horowitz was sent to the Schuessler home with a party
of men; having ransacked the house looking for "evidence" Horowitz then
placed Mrs. Schusssler and her family under virtual house arrest,
forbidding them to leave the house or speak with anyone on the phone lest
they "spread rumors about the Jews."

Arnold Schuessler took a lie detector test which completely cleared him, as
well as proving that he had an ironclad alibi for the murders. Instead of
releasing him, the authorities committed Arnold Schuessler to a private
mental institution in Des Plaines, Illinois operated by a Dr. Leon
Steinfeld. Mr. Schuessler was rushed right into electroshock treatment,
where he died the same afternoon he arrived at the "sanitarium".

There was sufficient public outcry over the bereaved father's strange death
so that a public inquest into Schuessler's case was held and Dr. Steinfeld
forced to testify. He stated that Arnold Schuessler was suffering from
"hallucinations" and "paranoid delusions" that "certain people were out to
get him." In 1955 there were still a few honest public officials left, one
of them being the Cook County Coroner, a crusty old Irishman named Dr.
Thomas McCarron who was also a qualified psychiatrist. McCarron knew Dr.
Steinfeld of old. During World War Two, Steinfeld had been prosecuted for
giving Jewish boys facing the draft callup various legal and illegal drugs
which would give them heart fibrillations, fill their lungs with liquid to
simulate tuberculosis, give them noxious skin conditions, etc. so they
could avoid military service. Steinfeld allegedly collected $2000 per head
for each Yiddish Mama's Little Bubbeleh he spared from having to go face
the Nazis' cold steel and hot lead. [As an aside, what do you want to bet
every one of these draft-dodging kikes now has some old Swastika banner he
bought from a real vet hanging on his wall, along with a caseful of phony
medals? - HC]

Dr. McCarron called Steinfeld a liar and a charlatan and turned all the
documents in the case over to the district attorney, recommending that
Steinfeld be prosecuted for perjury and murder. He also denounced Steinfeld
to the newspapers and publicly stated his view that Arnold Schuessler had
been murdered. In response he received an official order from the district
attorney to make no more public comment on the case. Several nights later,
to emphasize the serious nature of the warning, a small bomb blew the front
door off McCarron's house.

But there was at least some belated justice. Several days after the inquest
closed, Leon Steinfeld fled the country. He flew to Switzerland for a "rest
cure" and one morning was found hanging in his hotel room, an alleged
suicide. Jewish newspaper columnist Irv Kupcinet established a "sympathy
fund" and shortly thereafter presented Arnold Schuessler's widow, the
mother of the murdered children, with $100,000 raised from Chicago's Jewish
community---an immense sum of money in 1955-56, worth easily a couple of
million today, and a very strange gesture for Jews to make to a Gentile
crime victim, a German at that, unless it was to buy silence.

There may have been one final murder connected with this ghastly case.
British author Arnold Leese was provided with massive amounts of news
clippings and information, including a transcript of the inquest, by his
correspondents in Chicago, and he was at work on a definitive account of
the Schuessler case as one of the best documented incidents of Jewish
ritual murder in modern times when he suddenly died in the spring of 1956.
None of the Schuessler papers, which he had been working on and which he
showed to a number of friends and visitors, were found anywhere in his
possession when his effects were inventoried after his death. The last
loose end was tied up.

One looks at those sad little faces on the milk cartons today, and one
can't help but wonder...

and the Washington Post (January 15, 1992) now editorially acknowledge that
it is both ethical and permissible to debate the historical issues
surrounding the Holocaust story.

The nation's two premier newspapers thus reject statements by officials of
major Jewish organizations and of many American colleges and universities,
who are still not willing to admit that a First Amendment issue is involved
here, and that freedom of speech and freedom of inquiry pertain even to the
Holocaust controversy. On campus, the free speech issue is this: Should
college students be granted the rights of adults and allowed free access to
Revisionist scholarship on the Holocaust, or should students be treated as
children, protected from radical scholarship out of fear that with new
understanding they might help undermine a "politically correct" view of
contemporary history?

"Jewish Soap"

NEARLY EVERYONE HAS HEARD that the Germans killed six million Jews in
Europe during the Second World War. Television, motion pictures, newspapers
and magazines hammer away on this theme.

Revisionist Scholars

In recent decades, though, more and more "Revisionist" historians have been
challenging the widely accepted extermination story. Revisionists do not
"deny the Holocaust." They acknowledge that large numbers of Jews were
stripped of their rights and property (Ed. Note: property which was stolen
from the German people), cruelly deported to horrible concentration camps
and ghettos, and that many hundreds of thousands of Jews died or were
killed during the Second World War. At the same time, though, Revisionist
scholars point out that numerous Holocaust stories that were once accepted
as true have been quietly abandoned in recent years.

A Lurid Story

One of the most lurid Holocaust claims is the story that the Germans
manufactured soap from the bodies of their victims. Although a similar
charge during the First World War was exposed as a hoax almost immediately
afterwards, it was nevertheless revived and widely believed during the
Second.

More important, this accusation was "proved" at the main Nuremberg trial of
1945-1946, and has been authoritatively endorsed by numerous historians in
the decades since. In recent years, though, as part of a broad retreat from
the most obviously untenable aspects of the "orthodox" extermination story,
Holocaust historians have grudgingly conceded that the human soap tale is a
wartime propaganda lie.

In their retreat, though, these historians have tried to dismiss the soap
story as a mere wartime "rumor," neglecting to mention that international
Jewish organizations, and then Allied governments, endorsed and sanctioned
this libelous canard.

Wartime rumors that the Germans were manufacturing soap from the corpses of
slaughtered Jews were based in part on the fact that soap bars distributed
by German authorities in Jewish ghettos and camps bore the impressed
initials "RIF," which many took to stand for "Rein judisches Fett" or "Pure
Jewish Fat." (It did not seem to matter that the letters were "RIF" and not
"RJF.") These rumors spread so widely in 1941 and 1942 that by late 1942
German authorities in Poland and Slovakia were expressing official concern
about their impact. According to a Polish source quoted in a secret wartime
U.S. Army military intelligence report, for example, the Germans were
operating a "human soap factory" in 1941 at Turek, Poland. "The Germans had
brought thousands of Polish teachers, priests and Jews there and after
extracting the blood serum from their bodies, had thrown them on large pots
and melted off grease to make soap," the intelligence report added.

War Propaganda

In spite of its inherently incredible character, the soap story became an
important feature of Allied war propaganda. Rabbi Stephen S. Wise, wartime
head of both the World Jewish Congress and the American Jewish Congress,
publicly charged in November 1942 that Jewish corpses were being "processed
into such war-vital commodities as soap, fats and fertilizer" by the
Germans. He further announced that the Germans were "even exhuming the dead
for the value of the corpses," and were paying fifty marks for each body.

In late 1942, the Congress Weekly, published by the American Jewish
Congress, editorialized that the Germans were turning Jews "by scientific
methods of dissolution into fertilizer, soap and glue." An article in the
same issue reported that Jewish deportees from France and Holland were
being processed into "soap, glue and train oil" in at least two special
factories in Germany. Typical of many other American periodicals, the
influential New Republic reported in early 1943 that the Germans were
"using the bodies of their Jewish victims to make soap and fertilizer in a
factory at Siedlce."

After the war the soap story was given important legitimacy at the main
Nuremberg trial. L. N. Smirnov, Chief Counsellor of Justice for the USSR,
declared to the Tribunal:

...The same base, rationalized SS technical minds which created
gas chambers and murder vans, began devising such methods of
complete annihilation of human bodies, which would not only
conceal the traces of their crimes, but also to serve in the
manufacturing of certain products. In the Danzig Anatomical
Institute, semi-industrial experiments in the production of soap
from human bodies and the tanning of human skin for industrial
purposes were carried out.

Smirnov quoted at length from an affidavit by Sigmund Mazur, an Institute
employee, which was accepted as Nuremberg exhibit USSR-197. It alleged that
Dr. Rudolf Spanner, the head of the Danzig Institute, had ordered the
production of soap from corpses in 1943. According to Mazur's affidavit,
Dr. Spanner's operation was of interest to high-ranking German officials.
Education Minister Bernhard Rust and Health Leader Dr. Leonardo Conti, as
well as professors from other medical institutes, came to witness Spanner's
efforts. Mazur also claimed to have used the "human soap" to wash himself
and his laundry.

A human soap "recipe," allegedly prepared by Dr. Spanner (Nuremberg
document USSR-196), was also presented. Finally, a sample of what was
supposed to be a piece of "human soap" was submitted to the Nuremberg
Tribunal as exhibit USSR-393.

In his closing address to the Tribunal, chief British prosecutor Sir
Hartley Shawcross echoed his Soviet colleague: "On occasion, even the
bodies of their [the Germans'] victims were used to make good the wartime
shortage of soap." And in their final judgment, the Nuremberg Tribunal
judges found that "attempts were made to utilize the fat from the bodies of
the victims in the commercial manufacture of soap."

It is worth emphasizing here that the "evidence" presented at the Nuremberg
Tribunal for the bogus soap story was no less substantial than the
"evidence" presented for the claims of mass extermination in "gas
chambers." At least in the former case, an actual sample of soap supposedly
made from corpses was submitted in evidence.

Witnesses and Historians

After the war, supposed Holocaust victims were solemnly buried, in the form
of soap bars, in Jewish cemeteries. In 1948, for example, four such bars
wrapped in a funeral shroud were ceremoniously buried according to Jewish
religious ritual at the Haifa cemetery in Israel. Other bars of "Jewish
soap" have been displayed as grim Holocaust relics in Israel and other
countries.

Numerous Jews who lived in German ghettos and camps during the war helped
keep the soap story alive many years later. Neese Godin, for one, was
transferred from a ghetto in Lithuania to the Stutthof concentration camp
in the spring of 1944. In a 1983 interview, she recalled her arrival there:

That day they gave us a shower and a piece of soap. After the war
we found out the soap was made out of pure Jew fat, Rein Juden
Fett, marked in the initials on the soap that I washed with. For
all I know sometimes maybe there was a little bit of my father's
fat in that soap that I washed with. How do you think I feel when
I think about that?

Mel Mermelstein, the former Auschwitz inmate who was featured in a
sensationalized April 1991 cable television movie "Never Forget," declared
in a 1981 sworn deposition that he and other camp inmates used soap bars
made from human fat. It was an "established fact," he insisted, that the
soap he washed with was made from Jewish bodies.

Renowned "Nazi hunter" Simon Wiesenthal repeated the soap tale in a series
of articles published in 1946 in the Austrian Jewish community paper Der
Neue Weg. In the first of these he wrote:

During the last weeks of March the Romanian press reported an
unusual piece of news: In the small Romanian city of Folticeni
twenty boxes of soap were buried in the Jewish cemetery with full
ceremony and complete funeral rites. This soap had been found
recently in a former German army depot. On the boxes were the
initials RIF, "Pure Jewish Fat." These boxes were destined for
the Waffen-SS. The wrapping paper revealed with completely
cynical objectivity that this soap was manufactured from Jewish
bodies. Surprisingly, the thorough Germans forgot to describe
whether the soap was produced from children, girls, men or
elderly persons.

In another article he observed: "The production of soap from human fat is
so unbelievable that even some who were in concentration camps find it
difficult to comprehend."

Over the years, numerous supposedly reputable historians have promoted the
durable soap story. Journalist-historian William L. Shirir, for example,
repeated it in his best-selling work, The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich.
Leading Soviet war propagandist Ilya Ehrenburg wrote in his postwar memoir:
"I have held in my hand a cake of soap stamped with the legend 'pure Jewish
soap', prepared from the corpses of people who had been destroyed. But
there is no need to speak of these things: thousands of books have been
written about them."

A standard history studies textbook used in Canadian secondary schools,
Canada: The Twentieth Century, told students that Germans "boiled" the
corpses of their Jewish victims "to make soap." The Anatomy of Nazism, a
booklet published and distributed by the Zionist "Anti-Defamation League"
of B'nai B'rith, stated: "The process of brutalization did not end with the
mass murders themselves. Large quantities of soap were manufactured from
the corpses of those murdered."

Acknowledging the Truth

In spite of all the apparently impressive evidence, the charge that the
Germans manufactured soap from human beings is a falsehood, as Holocaust
historians are now belatedly acknowledging. The "RIF" soap bar initials
that supposedly stood for "Pure Jewish Fat" actually indicated nothing more
sinister than "Reich Center for Industrial Fat Provisioning" ("Reichsstelle
fur Industrielle Fettversorgung"), a German agency responsible for wartime
production and distribution of soap and washing products. RIF soap was a
poor quality substitute that contained no fat at all, human or otherwise.

Shortly after the war the public prosecutor's office of Flensburg, Germany,
began legal proceedings against Dr. Rudolf Spanner for his alleged role in
producing human soap at the Danzig Institute. But after an investigation
the charge was quietly dropped. In a January 1968 letter, the office stated
that its inquiry had determined that no soap from human corpses was made at
the Danzig Institute during the war.

Revising the Record

More recently, Jewish historian Walter Laqueur "denied established history"
by acknowledging in his 1980 book, The Terrible Secret, that the human soap
story has no basis in reality. Gitta Sereny, another Jewish historian,
noted in her book Into That Darkness: "The universally accepted story that
the corpses were used to make soap and fertilizer is finally refuted by the
generally very reliable Ludwigsburg Central Authority for Investigation
into Nazi Crimes." Deborah Lipstadt, a professor of modern Jewish history,
similarly "rewrote history" when she confirmed in 1981: "The fact is that
the Nazis never used the bodies of Jews, or for that matter anyone else,
for the production of soap."

In April 1990, professor Yehuda Bauer of Israel's Hebrew University,
regarded as a leading Holocaust historian, as well as Shmuel Krakowski,
archives director of Israel's Yad Veshem Holocaust center, confirmed that
the human soap story is not true. Camp inmates "were prepared to believe
any horror stories about their persecutors," Bauer said. At the same time,
though, he blamed the legend on "the Nazis."

In fact, blame for the soap story lies rather with individuals such as
Simon Wiesenthal and Stephen Wise, organizations like the World Jewish
Congress, and the victorious Allied powers, none of whom has ever
apologized for promoting THIS vile falsehood.

Why did Bauer and Krakowski decide that this was the appropriate time to
officially abandon the soap story? Krakowski himself hinted that a large
part of the motivation for this "tactical retreat" was to save what's left
of the sinking Holocaust ship by throwing overboard the most obvious
falsehoods. In the face of the growing Revisionist challenge, more easily
demonstrable falsehoods like the soap story have become dangerous
embarrassments because they raise doubts about the entire Holocaust story.
As Krakowski put it: "Historians have concluded that soap was not made from
human fat. When so many people deny the Holocaust ever happened, why give
them something to use against the truth?"

The bad faith of those making this calculated and belated concession to
truth is shown by their failure to note that the soap myth was
authoritatively "confirmed" at Nuremberg, and by their unwillingness to
deal with the implications of that confirmation for the credibility of the
Tribunal and other supposedly trustworthy authorities in establishing
other, more fundamental aspects of the Holocaust story.

The striking contrast between the prompt postwar disavowal by the British
government of the infamous "human soap" lie of the First World War, and the
way in which a similarly baseless propaganda story from the Second World
War was officially endorsed by the victorious Allied powers and then
authoritatively maintained for so many years not only points up a
dispiriting lack of integrity on the part of so many Western historians,
but suggests a general decline in Western ethical standards during this
century.

The "human soap" story demonstrates anew the tremendous impact that a
wartime rumor, no matter how fantastic, can have once it has taken hold,
particularly when it is disseminated as a propaganda lie by influential
individuals and powerful organizations. That so many intelligent and
otherwise thoughtful people could ever have seriously believed that the
Germans distributed bars of soap brazenly labeled with letters indicating
that they were manufactured from Jewish corpses shows how readily even the
most absurd Holocaust fables can be -- and are -- accepted as fact.

Shall Constitutional Government Prevail?

MR. SPEAKER, it is my desire to call attention to an article
which was published in the Pathfinder of June 24, on page 15,
which to me clearly revealed the character of those who own or
manage the paper. True to their stripes, and similar to all
Communists, the editors of the Pathfinder evidently disapprove
when Members of Congress respect their oath of obligation. These
editors are no doubt of the variety which prefers the Protocols
of the Learned Elders of Zion to the Constitution of the United
States. I am rather amused when this obnoxious tribe begins to
spit its communistic venom for it can only end, as it has before,
in endless wandering.

It is the first time the Communist Defamation League has made a
personal attack upon me, and 1 hope it will be the last time, for
I want to be charitable. Thousands of real patriotic Americans in
all classes of society are very well aware that character
destruction or "smearing" is a Communist stock in trade, but the
cloak is now worn and frayed. The gentleman from Illinois (Mr.
Sabath) is quoted in this paper as having said:

"The gentleman from Montana has time and again stuffed the Record
with column after column of material generally of a highly
obnoxious and bigoted nature. At the same time, while the
extended remarks were never made on the floor of this House, they
appear as having been actually spoken here.... I will object to
any intolerant and ridiculous dissertations calculated to promote
prejudice and class hatred."

I shall refrain from criticizing the most venerable gentleman
from Illinois, for he is only his master's voice, wailing in the
wilderness of communism. When the venerable gentleman blows warm,
he glorifies the President. When he blows cold, he reviles an
ex-President, Mr. Hoover. This, I observe, is the extent of the
venerable gentleman's statesmanship.

In replying to the Pathfinder's observations on cost for inserts
in the Congressional Record, I can say such expense will be a
mere bagatelle as compared to the cost of internal strife and
revolution which is now contemplated and financed by the same
people who financed the World War, the Russian revolution, and
the Spanish revolution. As a matter of fact, if every Member in
Congress would stand forth in the protection of the
constitutional rights of the people, communism and its allied
creed would find no place in the United States.

I am, however, delighted to find that the writer of the article
in the Pathfinder compares me with General Moseley, for the
general is, indeed, a stanch American and so recognized in the
United States Army, in which he served with distinction. He is
also recognized as a loyal American by Congress, for he has been
decorated twice for distinguished service to the country. His
clarification of an issue before the Dies Committee again
entitles him to further national distinction for his service to
the Nation.

The venerable gentleman's objection did not prevent my remarks
from being placed in the Record, as the Pathfinder's article
implies, for my remarks will be found in the issue of June 19,,
and I shall ask the editorial staff of the Pathfinder to read
them.

I am not upset about the international press, as implied in this
article, except in its abject submission to the rulers of the
invisible government, and in its betrayal of the people whom it
is supposed to serve with truth.

I am not looking for, neither do I desire mention in any
publication of the international subsidized press, or in the
Pathfinder, and it is indeed unfortunate that it took the liberty
of mentioning me in the manner it did, for it has now classified
itself.

I can only say that the press is using good judgment in remaining
silent upon patriotic activities, a quality which the Pathfinder
should observe, for unjust criticism might entail danger. When
120,000,000 people discover how they have been sold down the
river by those who swore to preserve, protect, and defend their
rights and liberties, it is possible that reprisals may result.

I also note in the June 26 Times-Herald that The Washington
Merry-Go-Round labels myself and two others "Nazis." This is not
strange, for when anyone speaks on the constitutional rights of
the people and opposes communism one of the wailing prophets
sticks out his head and shouts "Nazi!"

The capitalistic barons who are financing the Red activities in
the United States may believe that their agents have a
stranglehold on American labor, but they might find themselves
mistaken in that, for as I know labor, they are staunch and
patriotic American citizens. During my campaign, when I talked on
communism and on constitutional government, the greatest
appreciation was expressed, not by the "white collar" group, but
by the real workers, or the men that I, as a doctor of medicine,
called upon in their private homes. It was these men who said,
"We heard you over the radio. When are you to speak again?" And
it was these people who expressed their firm belief in the
Constitution of the United States. It was our so called
professors and educators who were slightly pink or even red in
their expressions. It is this same group of professors,
economists, and educators that are now attempting to run the
sovietized Government of the United States, and their lack of
ability is clearly evident in the condition in which we find
ourselves today. When the American working people realize that
they are used as stooges by the money changers, and the
international Communists who are now promoting and paying for the
cost of such activities in the United States, I am sure that they
will wash their hands of this deadly communistic poison, and
rally to the colors' as all patriotic citizens of course will do.

The plan to sovietize the United States should be clear to
everyone, for it is now coming to the front in its true light.
Congress has been an instrumental aid in bringing this thing
about by bestowing greater and greater powers on one man. He,
having the power to appoint and place anyone he chooses in key
positions in the governmental departments and forces, may, of
course, provide people upon whom he can depend to support him in
consummation of whatever plan he has in mind. There is an
advantage in having good Communists in key positions, and I do
not deny that this is a part of the Soviet plan. It should be
clear to all. If the Government intended to adhere to the
Constitution, Congress would not be requested to mutilate the
document by bestowing power on individuals contrary to what is
set forth in the Constitution itself. There is no purpose or
reason for breaking constitutional government down unless it is
to be replaced by some other form, and the people should ask
themselves just what the President intends to do.

Conversion of our Government can easily take place without the
public's being aware of such intrigue, and this is particularly
true when those who are supposed to represent the people fail to
maintain the commanding power of Congress itself. I am now
dealing with cold facts, and I challenge Congress to prove that
we are not departing from sound constitutional principles. If the
President of the United States had the interest of the people at
heart, why did he allow the money changers to take charge of all
the gold and establish ownership of it? If the President had the
interest of the United States and the welfare of the people at
heart, why does he not order the Army, Navy, and the F. B. I.
Intelligence Services to bring in and apprehend all Communists
and those who are advocating destruction of our Government? Is it
to the interest of the United States to allow military secrets to
be revealed to foreign nations, particularly to the Soviet Union?
Is it to the interest of the Nation to destroy business and
replace it with Federal-owned corporations similar to many of
those now operating contrary to the Constitution itself? Is it to
the interest of the people that we maintain the Export and Import
Bank? Is this all for the general welfare of the people, or is it
for the general welfare of those who are anticipating taking
charge of the Government?

Is it for the general welfare of the United States to loan money
to South America where it is already indebted to us, to be used
in competition with our own agriculture and manufacturing
industries? Is it for the general welfare of the people to import
agricultural products when the same can be produced in the United
States? Is it for the general welfare to destroy our own
agriculture and balance international trade by the sale of war
machinery? Does unsound and unsecured hocus-pocus money bring
about business confidence; and are excessive taxes an aid to
business?

These are questions that someone - maybe the Pathfinder - can
answer.

If the President is interested in sound constitutional
government, it may be well for him to follow the Constitution,
because he has assumed the same obligation that I and other
Members of Congress have assumed. I am trying to live up to mine.
Let the others do the same, and the people and the Nation will be
well protected.

We must have a premise or fundamental basis from which we may set
our course. In the United States it is the Constitution, and we
must use this as it was given to us - namely, as a point of
departure. Sovietizing this instrument, as has been done in the
past, can only lead us off the course, and the plight we are in
today is sufficient evidence to anyone that there are breakers to
the lee of us.

SCOURGE OF JEWISH IMMIGRATION

IMMIGRATION

Mr. McFADDEN. Mr. Speaker, this bill, if enacted into law, would
in effect repeal the mandatory provisions of all laws regulating
the deportation of aliens in the Immigration Acts of 1917 and of
1924 and make deportation optional with the Secretary of Labor,
and although section 6 of the bill provides that it is an
addition to and not in substitution for the provisions of the
immigration laws, including section 19 of the Immigration Act of
February 5, 1917, it is misleading, to say the least, in view of
the language of section 3 of the bill. Section 19 of the act of
1917 provides that aliens entering who at the time of entry
belonged to the excluded class, aliens entering illegally, aliens
advocating the overthrow of the Government of the United States
by force, aliens becoming a public charge, within 5 years after
entry their cases not affirmatively shown to have arisen
subsequent to landing, and certain specified classes of
criminals, as well as other classes of aliens, shall, upon
warrant of the Secretary of Labor, be taken into custody and
deported.

Section 3 of the bill, however, clearly nullifies this mandatory
language with respect to six enumerated classes of aliens,
otherwise deportable, and permits the Secretary of Labor in her
discretion to allow them to remain in the United States, provided
only that she finds them to be of good moral character and not
convicted of moral turpitude or crimes and not to have engaged in
subversive political agitation. It is to be noted that this last
qualification would still permit the Secretary to allow an alien
to remain who was known to be a member of an organization whose
avowed purpose is to overthrow the Government by force, which is
clearly not permissible under the present laws making such
persons mandatorily deportable.

A careful examination of the six subdivisions of section 3 (p. 3
of the bill) will show that they cover a vast majority of all
deportable aliens. From the wording of clauses (1), (5) it is
quite clear that illegal entrants are not regarded as those whom
the Secretary may not allow to remain as not being of "good moral
character," for they obviously relate in several instances to
persons who have "entered the United States" in any kind of way;
this notwithstanding that under present law illegal entry is a
prison offense.

Generally speaking, and excepting persons convicted of crimes
involving moral turpitude, clause (1) makes it discretionary with
the Secretary to keep in the country all those classes now
mandatorily deportable, although legally admitted; and clause (5)
allows him to retain here the great majority of the illegal
entrants, since it covers every alien who has a near relative who
was legally admitted to the country or who is a citizen. This
means about four-fifths of all aliens in the country, since the
annual reports on immigration for years back show that this
proportion of all legally admitted immigrants come "to join
relatives." Thus, it clearly appears that the aliens whose
deportation would remain mandatory under the misleading language
of the bill would be a negligible number.

Clause 3 of section 3 would make a new statute of limitations for
the deportation of aliens. Under present law no immigrant who
entered legally since the first quota law was passed in 1921 is
rendered immune from deportation by mere lapse of time. The
clause in question would change this radically and would make an
alien entering at any time nondeportable in the discretion of the
Secretary of Labor, provided he has succeeded in hiding out for
10 years or has not been attended to by the authorities whose
duty it was to deport him within that time.

The amendment of 1929 drawing the line at entrants before 1921
for those who could gain immunity from illegal entry was
professedly passed to take care of a considerably large number of
immigrants who in fact had entered legally but whom our officials
failed to register. Therefore, theoretically, at least, there is
no general statute of limitations as to legal entry at present.
This is as it should be for the continued residence in this
country of an alien who entered in violation of our laws is a
continued defiance of those laws, and there can be no greater
encouragement to illegal entry - the Achilles' heel of all
immigration restriction - than condoning the act itself.

Clause 6 of section 3 would permit an illegal entrant to gain
Executive clemency and escape deportation by giving evidence
against another illegal entrant.

Clauses 4 and 5, although less important than those already
referred to, would have the effect of actually separating
families by allowing the alien children under 16 smuggled into
the country by their parents to remain here while the parents
(who presumably had entered illegally at the same time) might be
deported.

Section 3 alone - the heart of the bill - is so destructive of
our whole system of immigration restriction as to make it
incumbent upon all Members of Congress who are sincere
restrictionists to vote as one man against it.

I submit to the membership that we should not repeal these
mandatory provisions of the acts of 1917 and 1924 and permit
decision on such important matters to lie with the Secretary of
Labor.

Mr. DICKSTEIN. Mr. Speaker, will the gentleman yield?

Mr. DICKSTEIN. I want to assure the gentleman that we do not
repeal one single section of the deportation law. We are adding
four additional sections for deportation, and I challenge the
gentleman to deny that fact.

Mr. McFADDEN. I deny that fact and with the gentleman's own
language. The law is being deliberately weakened to permit easy
entry of one class of foreigner. I shall prove that his one
purpose in the passage of this bill is to permit Jews from
Germany into the United States.

The SPEAKER. The time of the gentleman from Pennsylvania has
expired.

Mr. McFADDEN. I ask the gentleman to yield me that minute now.

Mr. McFADDEN. Mr. Speaker, I want to say to the gentleman from
New York [Mr. DICKSTEIN] that on March 18, 1934, in Chicago, in a
broadcast before the Jewish Immigration Relief Society over radio
station WENR, he is said to have stated that he deplored the fact
of the bars against aliens coming into his country, as it was a
fundamental of American doctrine to welcome the oppressed peoples
of the world and give succor to their needs. He said further that
as drastic as the quota law was before Hoover came into office it
became much worse under his orders, and he said that every Jew in
Germany who wanted to come here would come under the law of
exclusion as it is now read, because no matter how wealthy they
had been over there Hitler would not let them take out one cent
of their money, and that Hitler was confiscating their property.
He stated that Hitler would not grant passports to these refugees
nor would he allow them to stay on German soil. He said,
"Therefore we Americans must change our law to make it possible
for them to come here at once, as there was no other country
where they could go." He said further that Hitler's persecution
of the Jew was growing rather than diminishing and soon these
brothers, sisters, fathers, and mothers of ours will be murdered
unless we immediately make it possible for them to leave. He
said, "You Jews know that money for these poor oppressed Jews
isn't keeping them out of America. Our people here are generous
and will take care of that, but it is the law which we must
change."

He said further that there had developed a lot of opposition to
the plan of having guaranty bonds put up to assure the Government
that these people would not become public charges, and that this
opposition must be overcome. He said that Germany owes all her
culture and her great progress to the Jews; that Germany could
not exist as a nation without the Jews nor could America. He said
that most of those coming here would be men like Einstein, men of
outstanding achievement, and so forth. He said that no time was
to be lost in getting action on this matter, and that he pledged
himself to work untiringly for the passage of a law that would
allow these brethren a quick relief and welcome to our shores.

I submit that the gentleman from New York [Mr. DICKSTEIN], in
this radio talk to the Jewish Immigration Relief Society, had
reference to this bill, H. R. 9725, which is now under
consideration, and I further point out that his expressions are
clearly indicative of the sole purpose of this bill - namely, to
permit Jews from Germany to have an unhindered entry into the
United States. And I submit that the new four additional sections
for deportation are placed in this bill for the sole purpose of
giving the Secretary of Labor the right of determination without
review as to what deportation should be made, and weaken the
provisions of the immigration laws of 1917 and 1924. These laws
should not be modified by giving this great discretionary power
into the hands of any one person, particularly one that we now
know to be a nonrestrictionist and one who is responsive to the
fullest degree to those of the type of the gentleman from New
York [Mr. DICKSTEIN], who want to make easy entry for German Jews
to come into the United States.

Mr. SABATH. Is the gentleman reading from his speech?

Mr. McFADDEN. I am reading from the gentleman's [Mr. DICKSTEIN'S]
radio speech delivered at Chicago, March 18 last. I will put the
rest of it in the RECORD. It was delivered in the gentleman's own
city of Chicago before the Jewish Immigration Relief Society at
the Stevens Hotel.

Mr. McFADDEN. Mr. Speaker, I ask unanimous consent to extend my
remarks in the RECORD and to complete the answer to the question
asked.

Mr. McFADDEN. Mr. Speaker, I desire to call your attention to the
fact that the gentleman from New York [Mr. DICKSTEIN] in his
desire to amend the immigration laws, as this bill provides, to
permit Jews from Germany to freely enter the United States, is
supported by a national, if not an international, movement which
is participated in by practically all of the Jewish organizations
in the United States, which organizations are tied in with a
world-wide organization to move Jews out of Germany, not only
into the United States but to Palestine and to other countries.
This organization was created under the auspices of the League of
Nations, and its head is James G. McDonald, formerly president of
the Foreign Policy Association of New York, who is now actively
engaged in finding a domicile for German Jews. These efforts are
tied in with the organization known as the "International Boycott
on German Goods," the head of which is Mr. Samuel Untermyer, of
New York - a retaliatory method of protest aimed at the present
German Government, which boycott, if it fulfilled its purpose,
would destroy the present German Government.

Another movement closely associated in this enterprise is that of
the National Conference of Jews and Christians of 289 Fourth
Avenue, New York, co-chairmen Hon. Newton D. Baker, Prof. Carlton
J. H. Hayes, and Mr. Roger W. Straus. This is a national
organization instigated by the international Jews in the United
States, having for its purpose the uniting of Gentiles,
Catholics, and Jews in protection of the movements which are now
being organized throughout the United States in support of the
Jewish plan; whatever they may be.

In furtherance of the promotion of the activities along these
lines, and as a further protest against the present German
Government, the Chairman of the Committee on Immigration last
year began an unauthorized investigation of what he termed "Nazi
activities" in the United States. I would call your attention
also to the fact that the activities of the various Jewish
organizations supplementing these activities have resulted in the
creation of a special committee of the House of Representatives
appointed by the Speaker, and this committee are now engaged in
the investigation of these activities and communistic and any
other organizations that may have for their purpose the overthrow
of our present form of government.

I mention this for the purpose of showing the far-reaching
importance of this proposed amendment to the immigration laws of
the United States. It is an integral part of a whole scheme.

Mr. McFADDEN. Mr. Speaker, I doubt if the history of the
relations between this country and Russia is known to every
American citizen. It may not be considered amiss, therefore, if I
dwell for a few moments on our past relations with that strange
and interesting country. To do so it will be necessary for me to
go back to the late eighties and the early nineties of the last
century, when the United States was turning the corner and
becoming rich and powerful. At that time a man named Jacob Schiff
came to this country as the agent of certain foreign money
lenders. His mission was to get control of American railroads.
This man was a Jew. He was the son of a rabbi. He was born in one
of the Rothschilds' houses in Frankfort, Germany. He was a small
fellow with a pleasant face and, if I remember correctly, his
eyes were blue. At an early age he set out from Frankfort to seek
his fortune and went to Hamburg, Germany. At Hamburg he entered
the Warburg banking establishment. The Warburgs of Hamburg are
bankers of long standing, with branches in Amsterdam and Sweden.
After Schiff had served his time with them he went to London and
worked with their London correspondents. He was also connected
with the firm of Samuel Montagu & Co., the London gold merchants.
When he came to this country he was well equipped to do business
as an international money changer. He knew how to be polite, he
could write a smooth letter, and he always pretended to be a man
of holiness and a philanthropist.

Sometime before Schiff's arrival there was a firm of Jewish
peddlers or merchants in Lafayette, Ind., by the name of Kuhn &
Loeb. I think they were there about 1850. Probably they made
money out of the new settlers who passed through Indiana on their
way to the Northwest. This firm of Jews had finally moved to New
York and had set themselves up as private bankers and had grown
rich. Jacob Schiff married Teresa Loeb and became the head of
Kuhn, Loeb & Co. Schiff made a great deal of money here for
himself and for the Jewish money lenders of London. He began to
give orders to Presidents almost as a matter of course. He
appears to have been a man who would stop at nothing to gain his
own ends. I do not blame him for being a Jew. I blame him for
being a trouble maker.

Russia had a powerful enemy in this man, Jacob Schiff. The people
of the United States were taught to believe that this enmity of
his was caused by wrongs done to Russian Jews. I look elsewhere
for the motives which animated him.

In the 1890's Schiff was the agent in this country of Ernest
Cassell and other London money lenders. These money lenders were
looking forward to a war between England and Russia and were
making preparations for propaganda designed to support England in
the United States. This country was then a debtor nation, paying
a high yearly tribute to Schiff and his principals. Schiff
accordingly took it upon himself to create a prejudice in the
United States against Russia. He did this by presenting the
supposed wrongs of the Russian Jews to the American public.
Unpleasant tales began to appear in print. School children in
this country were told that Jewish children were crippled for
life by Russian soldiers wielding the knout. By unfair means a
wedge was driven between Russia and the United States.

One of Schiff's schemes was a sort of wholesale importation of
Russian Jews into the United States. He drew up divers and sundry
regulations for the temporary transplantation of these Jewish
emigrants. He would not, he said, have them enter this country
through the port of New York, because they might like New York
too well to leave it for the outposts he had selected for them.
He said it would be best to have them come in at New Orleans and
to have them stay there 2 weeks, "so that they could pick up a
few words of English and get a little money" before setting off
for what he called the "American hinterland." How they were to
get the money he did not say.

Aided by Schiff and his associates, many Russian Jews came to
this country about that time and were naturalized here. A number
of these naturalized Jews then returned to Russia. Upon their
return to that country, they immediately claimed exemption there
from the regulations of domicile imposed on Jews; that is, they
claimed the right to live on purely Russian soil because they
were American citizens, or "Yankee" Jews. Disorders occurred and
were exploited in the American press. Riots and bombings and
assassinations, for which somebody furnished money, took place.
The perpetrators of these outrages appear to have been shielded
by powerful financial interests. While this was going on in
Russia, a shameless campaign of Iying was conducted here, and
large sums of money were spent to make the general American
public believe that the Jews in Russia were a simple and
guileless folk ground down by the Russians and needing the
protection of the great benefactor of all the world - Uncle Sam.
In other words, we were deceived. We were so deceived that we
allowed them to come in here and take the bread out of the mouths
of our own American citizens.

I come now to the time when war was declared between Russia and
Japan. This was brought about by a skillful use of Japan, so that
England would not have to fight Russia in India. It was cheaper
and more convenient for England to have Japan fight Russia than
to do it herself. As was to be expected, Schiff and his London
associates financed Japan. They drew immense quantities of money
out of the United States for that purpose. The background for the
loans they floated in this country had been skillfully prepared.
The "sob stuff", of which Schiff was a master, had sunk into the
hearts of sympathetic Americans. The loans were a great success.
Millions of American dollars were sent to Japan by Schiff and his
London associates. England's stranglehold on India was made
secure. Russia was prevented from entering the Khyber Pass and
falling on India from the northwest. Japan at the same time was
built up and became a great world power, and as such is now
facing us in the Pacific. All this was accomplished by control of
the organs of American publicity, releases to the effect that
Russian Jews and "Yankee" Jews were being persecuted in Russia,
and by the selling of Japanese war bonds to American citizens.

While the Russian-Japanese War was in progress President Theodore
Roosevelt offered to act as peacemaker, and a conference between
representatives of the belligerents was arranged to take place at
Portsmouth, N.H.

While the Portsmouth Conference took place, Jacob Schiff attended
it and used such influence as he had with Theodore Roosevelt to
win favors for Japan at the expense of Russia. His main object,
then as always, was humiliation of Russians, whose only crime was
that they were Russians and not Jews. He endeavored to humiliate
the Russians, but Count Witte, the Russian plenipotentiary, did
not allow him to succeed in this attempt. Schiff's power and the
power of his organized propaganda were well understood by Count
Witte, however. Consequently he was not surprised when President
Roosevelt, who was often deceived, twice asked him to have Russia
treat Russian Jews who had become naturalized in the United
States and who had thereafter returned to live in Russia with
special consideration; that is, not as Jews but as Americans.
Witte carried home a letter from Roosevelt embodying this plea.

Mr. Speaker, the restrictions upon Jews in Russia at that time
may or may not have been onerous. But onerous or not, before the
Russians had time to change them, Schiff had the 80-year-old
treaty of friendship and good will between Russia and the United
States denounced. Speaking of this matter County Witte says in
his autobiography:

"The Russians lost the friendship of the American people."

Mr. Speaker, I cannot believe that those people - the real
Russians - ever lost the true friendship of the American people.
They were done away with to suit the ambitions of those who
intend to be the financial masters of the world, and some of us
were deceived into thinking that in some mysterious way they
themselves were to blame. The chasm that suddenly opened between
ourselves and our old friends and well-wishers in Russia was a
chasm created by Schiff the vindictive in his inhuman greed, and
he created it in the name of the Jewish religion.

Mr. Speaker, it was a mistake for the United States to permit the
integrity of its foreign policy to be jeopardized or affected
adversely by such religious, racial, and financial meddling as
that practiced upon us by Schiff and his London associates. The
United States should manage its foreign affairs with more
distinction than that which is implied in the picture of Jacob
Schiff shaking his fist at the White House and muttering threats
against William Howard Taft, then President of the United States,
a man who was excessively distinguished in his chosen field and
who represented the integrity and the patriotic Americanism of
every generation of New Englanders from the first of
Massachusetts Bay Colony to his own, and represented them well.

Mr. Speaker, the people of the United States should not permit
financial interests or any other special interests to dictate the
foreign policy of the United States Government. But in this
connection history is now repeating itself. You have heard, no
doubt, of the so-called persecution of Jews in Germany.

Mr. Speaker, there is no real persecution of Jews in Germany.
Hitler and the Warburgs, the Mendelsohns and the Rothschilds,
appear to be on the best of terms. There is no real persecution
of the Jews in Germany, but there has been a pretended
persecution of them because there are 200,000 unwanted
Communistic Jews in Germany, largely Galician Jews who entered
Germany after the World War, and Germany is very anxious to get
rid of those particular Communistic Jews. The Germans wish to
preserve the purity of their own blond racial stock. They are
willing to keep rich Jews like Max Warburg and Franz Mendelsohn
whose families have lived in Germany so long that they have
acquired some German national characteristics. But the Germans
are not willing to keep the Galician Jews, the upstarts. So a
great show is put on, largely by German Jews themselves, in the
hope that Uncle Sam will prove himself to be as foolish as he was
before and that we will allow those Galician and Communistic Jews
to come in here. That is why Miss Perkins has been placed in
charge of the Department of Labor. She is there to lower the
immigration bars. It is thought that, being a woman, she may
disarm criticism. She is an old hand with the international
Jewish bankers. If she were not, she would not be here in a
Jewish-controlled administration.

When the so-called "anti-Semitic campaign" designed for American
consumption was launched in Germany, France was alarmed because
she feared the Galician Jews might be dumped on French soil.
French newspapers published articles concerning the menace, but
now that France has been shown that the purpose of the
anti-Semitic campaign is to dump the 200,000 communistic Jews on
the United States she is worried no longer. "Ah", she says,
"I'Oncle Sam, he is to be the goat. Very good."

Mr. Speaker, I regard it as a pity that there are Americans who
love to fawn upon the money Jews and to flatter them. Some of
these unfortunates are under obligations to Jewish money changers
and dare not cross them. On June 6, 1933, there was a meeting in
the city of Washington at which the following resolution was
adopted:

"America has been greatly enriched through generations past by
men and women of high quality who have come to our shores as a
result of persecution in their own lands. Our country is known
throughout the world as the haven of those who suffer from wrong
and injustices, and who seek an opportunity for freedom not
afforded in their own land. The present is another critical time,
and there are many victims of religious and racial persecution in
Germany who, because of superior attainments and qualities of
fine citizenship, would make valuable additions to our
Commonwealth. We, therefore, ask the Government temporarily to
relax the immigration barriers in favor of such persons and urge
the passage of such measures as will effect this result."

Mr. Speaker, the time for such tactics has gone by. We would be
very foolish to allow Germany to dump her unwanted Jewish
population on the United States. If the money Jews are as noble
as they advertise themselves to be, let them advocate the payment
of the veterans' adjusted-compensation certificates. Let them
ease the burdens of the consumptive Jewish boys who are hauling
heavy carts of fur and other material around the garment center
of New York. Let them see that the long-suffering Jewish school
teachers receive the salaries which are due to them but which are
now in arrears. That would be better than to bring 200,000 Jewish
Communists in here for political purposes.

Mr. Speaker, Jacob Schiff flourished like the green bay tree
during the World War, but there are passages in his life which
show his hysterical despair when the Allies sent their
representatives here to obtain a loan. He endeavored to have Lord
Reading, formerly Rufus Isaacs, prevent any part of it from going
to Russia, although at the time Russia had a very large army of
soldiers in the marshes, including thousands of Jewish soldiers,
fighting the battle of the Allies on short rations and with
insufficient supplies. He was willing to join in the loan, but he
wished to have Russia and Russian Jews excluded from the benefits
of it. Upon that occasion he was torn between a desire for profit
and his professional hatred of Russia, and he cried out to his
fellow directors in Kuhn, Loeb & Co. that he ought not to be
placed in such a position. And then I believe he said they could
do as they liked about it.

In the end it was one of the European Warburgs, a relative of
Schiff's, who went to Brest-Litovsk to negotiate the separate
peace - a peace which was deeply resented by a large number of
loyal Russian Jews - a peace which was followed shortly afterward
by the Third Internationale, one of the purposes of which is the
destruction of constitutional government in the United States and
the establishment here of the same form of government as that
which now prevails in Russia. The rights of the sovereign States
in the United States are being steadily undermined for that
sinister purpose. How far down into the bottomless pit of
communism the United States has been dragged by the Roosevelt
administration under the smoke screen of an emergency is shown by
a comparison of the program of the Third Internationale and the
Roosevelt communistic measures forced into law here during this
special session of Congress under threats to deprive Democratic
Congressmen of patronage and influence, or, as the President is
said to have expressed it to a London correspondent, a
determination on his part to keep every Republican officeholder
in office until he got what he wanted from the Democratic
Congress. Among the tasks set before the communistic party in the
United States, as shown in Russia/U.S.S.R.; A Complete Handbook,
edited by the scholar, P. Malevsky-Malevitch, and published by
Payson in New York this year, I find the following:

"Transfer to the State of all gold reserves, valuables
securities, deposits, etc., the centralization of all banking
operations and the subordination of all the nationalized banks to
a central State bank, etc."

You have witnessed the unlawful seizure by Franklin D. Roosevelt
of gold reserves and other values belonging to the people of the
United States, the destruction of banks, the attempted
whitewashing of the Federal Reserve Board and Federal Reserve
banks, the corruption of which he admitted in his campaign
harangues; and you may have noticed that what was confiscated is
not in the hands of the present constitutional Government but in
the hands of the international bankers who are the nucleus of the
new government Roosevelt is seeking to establish here.
Roosevelt's actions are not in accordance with the Constitution
of the United States. They are in accordance with the plans of
the Third Internationale.

At one time Trotzky was a favorite with Jacob Schiff. During the
war Trotzky edited NOVY MIR and conducted mass meetings in New
York. When he left the United States to return to Russia he is
said upon good authority to have traveled on Schiff's money and
under Schiff's protection. He was captured by the British at
Halifax and immediately, on advice from a highly placed
personage, set free. Shortly after his arrival in Russia he was
informed that he had a credit in Sweden at the Swedish branch of
the bank owned by Max Warburg, of Hamburg. This credit helped to
finance the seizure of the Russian revolution by the
international Jewish bankers. It assisted them in subverting it
to their own ends. At the present time the Soviet Union is in
debt.

From the date of Trotzky's return to Russia the course of Russian
history has, indeed, been greatly affected by the operations of
international bankers. They have acted through German and English
institutions and have kept Russia in bondage to Germany and both
Germany and Russia in bondage to themselves. Their relatives in
Germany have drawn immense sums of money from the United States
and have in turn financed their agents in Russia at a handsome
profit.

The Soviet Government has been given United States Treasury funds
by the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve banks acting
through the Chase Bank and the Guaranty Trust Co. and other banks
in New York City. England, no less than Germany, has drawn money
from us through the Federal Reserve banks and has re-lent it at
high rates of interest to the Soviet Government or has used it to
finance her sales to Soviet Russia and her engineering works
within the Russian boundaries. The Dnieperstroy Dam was built
with funds unlawfully taken from the United States Treasury by
the corrupt and dishonest Federal Reserve Board and the Federal
Reserve banks.

Mr. Speaker, our workingmen have been told that Russia is the
best country in the world to-day for a workingman to live in.
They have been made to regret that they cannot go to Russia to
work on one of the great enterprises being carried on by the
Soviet Government from which American workingmen are excluded.
Mr. Speaker, in my opinion the Russians have a right to set up
any form of government that pleases them and suits their needs.
But for some reason, whether due to some defect in the Soviet
form of government or to some other cause, Russia has not been
able to maintain its present form of government otherwise than at
the expense of countries in which there is greater freedom from
individuals and in which the property rights of citizens have
been respected and preserved. Open up the books of Amtorg, the
trading organization of the Soviet Government in New York, and of
Gostorg, the general office of the Soviet trade organization, and
of the State Bank of the Union of Socialistic Soviet Republics,
and you will be staggered to see how much American money has been
taken from the United States Treasury for the benefit of Russia.
Find out what business has been transacted for the State bank of
Soviet Russia by its correspondent, the Chase Bank of New York;
by Lloyd's Bank of London; by Kleinwort Sons & Co. of London,
whose correspondents are the principal New York banks; by Glyn
Mills & Co. of London and their American agents - that is, the
International Acceptance Banks of New York, the Guaranty Trust of
New York, the Central Hanover Bank of New York, the Chemical Bank
& Trust Co., H. Clews & Co., Kidder Peabody & Co., Winslow Lanier
& Co., and Lee, Higginson & Co., the promoters of Swedish Match.
Find out how much United States money has passed through the Bank
for Russian Trade of London and through the Midland Bank, Ltd.

If the extent of these transactions were known to the American
workingman and if he could see that the raw material, the United
States dollars, in those transactions came out of his own pocket
and the pockets of his fellow citizens, he would understand that
Russia is not a good place for a workingman unless other
workingmen in other countries are forced to pay tribute to its
needs. Russia owes the United States a large sum of money. If we
had what Russia owes us today, the veterans of the United States
would not need to fear the first of July 1933 when they are to be
despoiled of their pension rights and privileges. Mr. Speaker, I
am unalterably opposed to a reduction in the pensions that were
lawfully conferred upon the United States veterans of all wars,
their widows and dependents. I am in favor of the immediate
payment of the veterans' adjusted-compensation certificates. If
the United States can carry Germany and Soviet Russia and John
Bull on its back, it can pay its veterans. If it can lend
$50,000,000 to sovietized China and furnish material for the
manufacture of high explosives, it can pay its veterans.

Mr. Speaker, an immense amount of United States money has been
used abroad in preparations for war and in the acquisition and
the manufacture of war supplies. Germany is said to be part owner
of a large poison gas factory at Trotsk on Russian soil. China is
almost completely sovietized and in the Asiatic interior huge
stocks of munitions are said to be stored awaiting the day when
the war lords of the United States will ship United States troops
to Asia. Mr. Speaker, the United States should look before it
leaps into another war, especially a war in Asia. It should
decide whether it is worth while to join hands with Russia and
China in a war against Japan. For myself, I say and I have said
it often that the United States should remember George
Washington's advice. It should mind its own business and stay at
home. It should not permit the Jewish international bankers to
drive it into another war so that they and their Gentile fronts
and sycophants by way of Louis McHenry Howe, the graftmaster, may
reap rich profits on everything an army needs from toilet kits to
airplanes, submarines, tanks, gas masks, poison gas, ammunition,
bayonets, guns, and other paraphernalia and instruments of
destruction.

This unforgetable and probably unsurpassed depiction of valor
in the face of imminent death does honour the nation to which
these two young heroes belong.

To further recognize their sacrifice, we need to know their
names, the time and place of their execution, and the circum-
stances of their arrest.

For the purpose of prosecuting their executioners, should they
still enjoy life, we need to know the identity of the hangman
and of the officer/official who signed the execution order.

I understand that this photograph has been published on several
occasions and that among others, it appeared in Roger
Manvell's
SS AND GESTAPO: RULE BY TERROR, Ballantine's Illustrated History
of World War II, Weapons Book, No.8, New York 1969, pp. 88-89.
It figured at the beginning of the chapter entitled The Action
Groups: from Poland to Russia. However, unlike the other situ-
ational photographs in that book, it was neither referred to in
the text nor by a figure legend.

In the bibliography section, on page 160 of this book, the
publishers give credit to Alexander Bernfes for the use of
photographs from his private collection.

October 1941. The executioners, as far as I know, were officers
in the Wehrmacht (German Army), not members of the SS.

Additional information can be found in the album "Vernichtungskrieg.
Verbrechen der Wehrmacht 1941 bis 1944", published by Hamburger
Institut fuer Sozialforschung in 1996. The album contains a large
number of photographs, documents, and testimonies, about the
mass murder practiced by the Nazis in occupied USSR, Poland,
Yugoslavia, and Czechoslovakia.

too late) very ugly reprisals take place. It happened in Russia during
that war, it happened in Vietnam, it is happening today in the West Bank
of Israel. So, while no one is going to deny that very ugly things

God in his goodness allowed Catholicism to take root in Poland at the end
of the tenth century during the reign of Our predecessor Leo VIII. At the
time, the efforts of King Mieszko and his Christian consort Dobrava
(Dlugosz, Annalium vestrorum Scriptorum, 2, 94) encouraged the spread of
Christianity. Since then pious and devout Poles have continued the faithful
practice of their new religion. During this time various sects have
attempted to establish themselves in Poland and to spread the seeds of
their errors, heresies, and evil opinions. But the faithful Polish people
have strongly withstood their efforts. We esteem the glorious memory of
Polish martyrs, confessors, virgins and holy men; their exemplary lives are
recorded in the holy annals of the Church....

Another threat to Christians has been the influence of Jewish
faithlessness; this influence was strong because Christians and Jews were
living in the same cities and towns. However their influence was minimized
because the Polish bishops did all they could to aid the Poles in their
resistance to the Jews. What the bishops did is recorded in the large tome
which contains the constitutions of the synods of the province of Gniezno.
These facts establish most clearly and plainly the great glory which the
Polish nation has won for its zeal in preserving the holy religion embraced
by its ancestors so many ages before.

2. In regard to the matter of the Jews We must express our concern, which
causes Us to cry aloud: "the best color has been changed." Our credible
experts in Polish affairs and the citizens of Poland itself who
communicated with Us have informed Us that the number of Jews in that
country has greatly increased. In fact, some cities and towns which had
been predominantly Christian are now practically devoid of Christians.

The Jews have so replaced the Christians that some parishes are about to
lose their ministers because their revenue has dwindled so drastically.
Because the Jews control businesses selling liquor and even wine, they are
therefore allowed to supervise the collection of public revenues. They have
also gained control of inns, bankrupt estates, villages and public land by
means of which they have subjugated poor Christian farmers.

The Jews are cruel taskmasters, not only working the farmers harshly and
forcing them to carry excessive loads, but also whipping them for
punishment. So it has come about that those poor farmers are the subjects

3. In addition to the harm done to Christians in these regards, other
unreasonable matters can result in even greater loss and danger. The most
serious is that some households of the great have employed a Jew as
"Superintendent-of-the-Household"; in this capacity, they not only
administer domestic and economic matters, but they also ceaselessly exhibit
and flaunt authority over the Christians they are living with. It is now
even commonplace for Christians and Jews to intermingle anywhere. But what
is even less comprehensible is that Jews fearlessly keep Christians of both
sexes in their houses as their domestics, bound to their service.

Furthermore, by means of their particular practice of commerce, they amass
a great store of money and then by an exorbitant rate of interest utterly
destroy the wealth and inheritance of Christians. Even if they borrow money
from Christians at heavy and undue interest with their synagogues as
surety, it is obvious to anyone who thinks about it that they do so to
employ the money borrowed from Christians in their commercial dealings;
this enables them to make enough profit to pay the agreed interest and
simultaneously increase their own store. At the same time, they gain as
many defenders oftheir synagogues and themselves as they have creditors.

4. The famous monk, Radulph, inspired long ago by an excess of zeal, was so
inflamed against the Jews that he traversed Germany and France in the
twelfth century and, by preaching against the Jews as the enemies of our
holy religion, incited Christians to destroy them. This resulted in the
deaths of a very large number of Jews. What must we think his deeds or
thoughts would be if he were now alive and saw what was happening in
Poland? But the great St. Bernard opposed this immoderate and maddened zeal
of Radulph, and wrote to the clergy and people of eastern France: "The Jews
are not to be persecuted: they are not to be slaughtered: they are not even
to be driven out. Examine the divine writings concerning them. We read in
the psalm a new kind of prophecy concerning the Jews: God has shown me,
says the Church, on the subject of my enemies, not to slay them in case
they shouldever forget my people. Alive, however, they are eminent
reminders for us of the Lord's suffering. On this account they are
scattered through all lands in order that they may be witnesses to Our
redemption while they pay the just penalties for so great a crime" (Letter
363).

And he writes this to Henry, Archbishop of Mainz: "Doesn't the Church every
day triumph more fully over the Jews in convicting or converting them than
if once and for all she destroyed them with the edge of the sword: Surely
it is not in vain that the Church has established the universal prayer
which is offered up for the faithless Jews from the rising of the sun to
its setting, that the Lord God may remove the veil from their hearts, that
they may be rescued from their darkness into the light of truth. For unless
it hoped that those who do not believe would believe, it would obviously be
futile and empty to pray for them." (Letter 365).

5. Peter, abbot of Cluny, likewise wrote against Radulph to King Louis of
France, and urged him not to allow the destruction of the Jews. But at
thesame time he encouraged him to punish their excesses and to strip them
of the property they had taken from Christians or had acquired by usury; he
should then devote the value of this to the use and benefit of holy
religion, as may be seen in the Annals of Venerable Cardinal Baronius
(1146). In this matter, as in all others, We adopt the same norm of action
as did the Roman Pontiffs who were Our venerable predecessors. Alexander
III forbade Christians under heavy penalties to accept permanent domestic
service under Jews. "Let them not continually devote themselves to the
service of Jews for a wage." He sets out the reason for this in the
decretal Because Jewish ways do not harmonize in any way with ours and they
could easily turn the minds of the simple to their own superstitions and
faithlessness through continual intercourse and unceasing acquaintance."

Innocent III, after saying that Jews were being received by Christians into
their cities, warns that the method and condition of this reception should
guard against their repaying the benefit with evildoing. "They on being
admitted to our acquaintance in a spirit of mercy, repay us, the popular
proverb says, as the mouse in the wallet, the snake in the lap and fire in
the bosom usually repay their host."

The same Pope stated that it was fitting for Jews to serve Christians
rather than vice versa and added: "Let not the sons of the free woman be
servants of the sons of the handmaid; but as servants rejected by their
lord for whose death they evilly conspired, let them realize that the
result of this deed is to make them servants of those whom Christ's death
made free," as we read in his decretal . Likewise in the decretal under the
same heading , he forbids the promotion of Jews to public office:
"forbidding Jews to be promoted to public offices since in such
circumstances they may be very dangerous to Christians."

Innocent IV, also, in writing to St. Louis, King of France, who intended to
drive the Jews beyond the boundaries of his kingdom, approves of this plan
since the Jews gave very little heed to the regulations made by the
Apostolic See in their regard: "Since We strive with all Our heart for the
salvation of souls, We grant you full power by the authority of this letter
to expel the Jews, particularly since We have learned that they do not obey
the said statutes issued by this See against them" (Raynaldus, Annals, A.D.
1253, no. 34).

6. But if it is asked what matters the Apostolic See forbids to Jews living
in the same cities as Christians, We will say that all those activities
which are now allowed in Poland are forbidden; these We recounted above.
There is no need of much reading to understand that this is the clear truth
of the matter. It is enough to peruse decretals with the heading ; the
constitutions of Our predecessors, the Roman Pontiffs Nicholas IV, Paul IV,
St. Pius V, Gregory XIII and Clement VIII are readily available in the
Roman Bullarium. To understand these matters most clearly, Venerable
Brothers, you do not even need to read those. You will recall the statutes
and prescripts of the synods of your predecessors; they always entered in
their constitutions every measure concerning the Jews which was sanctioned
and ordained by the Roman Pontiffs.

7. The essence of the difficulty, however, is that either the sanctions of
the synods are forgotten or they are not put into effect. To you then,
Venerable Brothers, passes the task of renewing those sanctions. The nature
of your office requires that you carefully encourage their implementation.
In this matter begin with the clergy, as is fair and reasonable. These will
have to show others the right way to act, and light the way for the rest by
their example. For in God's mercy, We hope that the good example of the
clergy will lead the straying laity back to the straight path. You will be
able to give these orders and commands easily and confidently, you must see
to it that neither your property nor your privileges are hired to Jews;
furthermore you do no business with them and you neither lend them money
nor borrow from them. Thus, you will be free from and unaffected by all
dealings with them.

8. The sacred canons, prescribe that in the most important cases, such as
the present, censures should be imposed upon the recalcitrant; and that
those cases which bode danger and ruin to religion should be reckoned as
reserved cases in which only the bishop can give absolution. The Council of
Trent considered your jurisdiction when it affirmed your right to reserve
cases. It did not restrict such cases to public crimes only, but extended
them to include more notorious and serious cases, provided they were not
purely internal. But we have often said that some cases should be
considered more notorious and serious. These are cases, to which men are
more prone, which are a danger both to ecclesiastical discipline and to the
salvation of the souls which have been entrusted to your episcopal care. We
have discussed these at length in Our treatise , Book 5, 5.

9. In this matter We will help as much as possible. If you have to proceed
against ecclesiastics exempt from your jurisdiction, you will doubtless
encounter additional difficulties. Therefore We are giving Our Venerable
Brother Archbishop Nicaenus, Our Nuncio there, a mandate appropriate for
this business, in order that he may supply for you the necessary means from
the powers entrusted to him. At the same time We promise you that when the
situation arises, We will cooperate energetically and effectively with
those whose combined authority and power are appropriate to remove this
stain of shame from Poland. But first Venerable Brothers, ask aid from God,
the source of all things. From Him beg help for Us and this Apostolic See.

Because in newsgroups they can spew their venom without any fear. Most
probably use false names & bad e-mail addresses. If they were on the street
shouting this, yes they may have free speech, but they also may get their butts
kicked. Here, they are safe.

No, they are just trolling. I have tried to stay out of this thread, hoping it
would die out. They wish to get others to react to their garbage, then point &

At the time of the divorce, Morris' net worth, based upon his own

calculations, was $3,876,029 (R. 1252, et. seq; Def. Ex. 86-87;
Stipulation,

R. 231). His annual income exceeds $230,000 (Def. Ex. 76-79), of which more

than $160,000 annually is derived from municipal bonds upon which Morris
pays

no income tax (Def. Ex. 28).

B. The Cause Of The Break-up: Vicki Booker McGaha

Although Maureene was subjected to a number of degrading sexual episodes

by Morris during the marriage which will be discussed hereafter, neither

Morris nor Maureene ever wanted or sought a divorce until Morris
established

his permanent relationship with Vicki Booker McGaha in August of 1977. It

was Morris' absolute refusal to give up his mistress, whom he was
supporting

and whom he had made pregnant, that directly caused termination of
Maureene's

marriage and forced her to institute these divorce proceedings.

In August, 1977, Morris tried the "Weisenhunt case" in Birmingham, and

became acquainted with Vicki Booker McGaha, who was a member of that jury
(R.

1459). Thereafter, Morris and Vicki began a sexual affair which has still

not ended, and which was the cause of termination of two marriages.

Following their meeting in Birmingham during the Weisenhunt trial in
August,

1977, Morris had sexual relations with Vicki at Oak Mountain State Park in

Shelby County (R. 1461), the Prattville Holiday Inn, the Holiday Inn East,

the Governor's House Hotel, and the Howard Johnson Motel (R. 1462). The

first trip that he took with her was a four day trip to the "Cajun Country"

in Louisiana on a motorcycle in April, 1978 (R. 1464-1465). In August,
1978,

Vicki joined Morris in Columbus, Georgia, where she stayed with him at the

Holiday Inn (R. 1468).

Maureene first found out about Vicki when she was contacted by Vicki's

husband, who subsequently turned over to her letters that Morris had
written

to Vicki and tape recordings of conversations that Morris had had with
Vicki

(R. 361-362). Mr. McGaha divorced Vicki McGaha in May, 1978 (R. 1469).

Around this time, at Morris' request, Maureene met with Morris and Vicki at

the Sheraton Mountain Brook Inn to discuss the situation (R. 358). During

this conversation Morris told Maureene that he was in love with Vicki, that

they wanted to be together, and they didn't care if they had anything but a

shack with a dirt floor if they could be together (R. 358). Morris told

Maureene that he and Vicki were going to love together and they they hoped

she would understand. Maureene learned that the affair had been going on

since August of 1977 (R. 280-281, et seq). In later conversations Morris

cried and told Maureene that he loved them both, and that "Vicki has such

beautiful blue eyes and she can see right through you" (R. 360). Following

this meeting, Maureene separated from Morris for the first time and filed
the

first suit for divorce (R. 361).

C. The Reconciliation

After Maureene and Morris had been separated for about four to six weeks,

Morris telephoned her and said that he had made a mistake, that he did love

Maureene and wanted her back, and he swore never to see Vicki McGaha again

(R. 282). To assure her of this Morris arranged another meeting among the

three of them as Joe Levin's lake cabin on July 3, 1978 (R. 367, et seq).

This meeting was bizarre. In a three-way conversation Morris could first
ask

Vicki to state how much she loved him, and he would then turn to Maureene
to

ask her to state how much she loved him (R. 367). It was as if he were

stagin a contest to see who loved him the most, or who would do the most
for

him (R. 367). After a lengthy conversation, during which Morris had taken

his socks off, he announced, "Alright, I'll tell you girls my answer when I

get my socks on." After taking an inordinate amount of time putting his

socks on, he got up, walked around behind them, put an arm on each girl,
and

ceremoniously stated, "I tell you this day, July 3, 1978, I, Morris Dees,

can't live without either one of you." (R. 368). At that point, Maureene

said, "I'll tell you what, Vicki, you can have him." (R. 368).

In response to these statements by Morris, Maureene made it clear once

again that Morris could not have them both, that he could not remain
married

to her and live with Vicki, and that he must make up his mind one way or

another. At the conclusion of the meeting, Morris promised never to see

Vicki again (R. 282). He told Vicki that he and Maureene had reconciled,
and

that he could not see her anymore (R. 1357). Morris himself testified that

in Maureene's presense he told Vicki that it was all over and that he

wouldn't see her anymore (R. 1357; 1522-1523).

D. Morris Can't Give Up His Mistress

Morris' promises did not last long. Although Maureene didn't know it at

the time, less than two weeks later he resumed his relationship with Vicki

(R. 1523). By his own admission, he found himself unable to terminate the

relationship with Vicki, in response to questions by his own attorney:

Q. (By Mr. Byrne) Now, give the Court some judgement about how many time

you attempted during 1978 and 1979 to break off your relationship withy

Vicki Booker?

A. Oh, gosh, about every month I'd say. It was a continual off and on

relationship.

A. (By Morris, describing Defendant's Exhibit 103, a letter from Morris

to Vicki) Well, its an undated letter. I think it was in January of

1979, and it basically described the continuing problem of we ought to

end this relationship. I'm telling her that I don't really think I've

got the strength to and I wish she would do it herself."

Q. (By Mr. Smith) Let me ask you if you said this or this in substance

in response to a question by Mr. Byrne. 'I attempted every month to

break off my relationship with Vicki'.

A. I think that would be a pretty accurate statement before Maureene

left home."

Morris had bee supporting Vicki since her divorce from her husband in

May, 1979, and he continued to do so as they continued their affair even

after promising Maureene in July, 1978 that the affair was over for good.

Morris admits to having provided the following support to Vicki during the

eleven-month period from may, 1978 through March, 1979 (R. 1504, et seq):

Morris stopped sending Vicki money only when the present divorce suit was

filed (R. 1506). In addition, Morris loaned Vicki $28,000, at 8% interest,

to enable her to purchase her former husband's interest in their home at
the

time of her divorce (R. 1351).

E. Maureene Is Compelled To Seek Divorce

In November, 1978, Morris finally admitted to Maureene that,

notwithstanding the promises that he had made in July to abandon Vicki and

reconcile with Maureene, he had continued to see Vicki in Birmingham, that

she was then five months pregnant with his child, and that he would be
going

to Birmingham in a few days to be with her while she had an abortion which

Morris was paying for (R. 364). Over the next sixty days, Maureene
concluded

that he simply could not accept the situation any longer. It was apparent
to

Maureene that Morris was not going to stop seeing Vicki, and Maureene was
not

willing to live in a situation where she knew for a fact that her husband

really had, in effect, two wives (R. 412). Morris was supporting Vicki and

had been doing so for almost a year. He treated Vicki like a wife,
supplying

all of her financial and emotional needs. He was there when she needed him.

He was spending almost half a week going back and forth to Birmingham two
or

three times a week, attempting to divide his time between them (R. 412). In

January or February, 1979, Maureene told Morris that she could simply no

longer accept this situation, and that she was going to leave (R. 385).

Following this conversation, Morris started trying to induce Maureene to

execute certain agreements (which will be discussed in detail hereafter)
that

would permit each of them to have sexual relations with other parties (R.

385). Maureene refused to sign any of these agreements (R. 387). While

trying to induce her to sign these agreements, Morris continued to tell

Maureene that he lover her and that he would stop seeing Vicki (R. 390).

However, he did not stop seeing her. During this period he took Vicki and

her children to the ballet in birmingham, and spent the night at Vicki's

house (R. 390). He met Vicki in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl in January,

1979, where they spent two days together (R. 1473).

In March, 1979, Maureene left Morris for the last time, and she has loved

separate and apart from him ever since (R. 370). Morris and Vicki moved
into

the family home in Mathews (R. 370). Maureene commenced the present suit on

March 8, 1979.

Following the final separation, Morris openly continued his relationship

with Vicki. Taking his daughter, Ellie, with him, Morris met Vicki in Los

Angeles on March 10, 1979 (R. 1473). He introduced Vicki to Ellie as "Pat"

(R. 1475), and after leaving Los Angeles the three of them flew to Las
Vegas

together (R. 1475). They had only one room for the three of them, but
Morris

claimed that Vicki sat up all night in the hotel lobby (R. 1476). Morris

took Vicki to the White House signing of the Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty on

March 26, 1979 (R. 1518). On June 4, 1979, Morris took his daughter Ellie,

and Vicki and her family, to the Grand Hotel (R. 1479).

F. Morris Sets A Trap

In February, 1979, Morris Dees realized that he was in a precarious legal

position. He had been conducting an affair with Vicki McGaha for almost two

years; she had become pregnant by him and had received an abortion with he

had paid for; he was supporting her and spending most of his time with her

and planned to continue to do so; and Maureene, who was fully aware of all
of

these facts, ahd stated that she could not tolerate the situation any more

and was leaving him to institute divorce proceedings. To protect himself in

the impending litigation, Morris had to find a way to neutralize Maureene.

In February, 1979, after Maureene informed Morris that was leaving him,

Morris wrote out an agreement, which he showed to her on a Sunday
afternoon,

and asked her to stay and live by this agreement (R. 385). This agreement,

identified and introduced as Plaintiff's Exhibit 30, purported to permit
the

parties to lead separate lives by stay married, and provided that they
would

not hold anything against each other that had happened either before or
after

the date of the agreement (R. 386). The first such purported agreement (Pl.

Ex. 30) provided in part as follows:

"Whereas they "Morris and Maureene) feel that they can better work

toward a more complete and satisfying relationship in their marriage

if they have an open marriage, i.e., where each party, while still

living together as man and wife, be free to have relationships with

the opposite sex, which said relationships may consist of sexual

intercourse. . ."

During the time that he was discussing this agreement and urging her to

sign it, Morris continued to tell Maureene that he loved her and that he
had

stopped seeing Vicki (R. 390), which was another lie. Plaintiff's Exhibit

is another agreement which Morris drafted because he did not like the

language of the first agreement, and contains this provision:

A. Prior to even drawing up these agreements, I agreed to it orally.

I have already said that

Q. When did you first orally agree that your wife, your lawful wife,

could have sexual intercourse with other people?

A. About a day before this agreement was drawn up.

Q. And it was one day preceeding the first agreement?

A. Approximately."

"Q. You knew she (Maureene) knew about you and Vicki?

A. About the abortion, and she said, I am going to use that and I

said, Maureene, look if you have somebody you want to have sex with,

go ahead and have sex with them. We said that that night at the bar.

Q. That was clear and unmistakable?

A. Clear and unmistakable.

Q. You encouraged her to and if there was anybody --

A. If you call that encouragement --

G. Morris' Trap Works: The Hotel Room Agreement

On March 4, 1979, Maureene walked naively into the trap which Morris had

set. On that date, she flew to Washington, D.C., where she met Brian

O'Daugharty (R. 576). Maureene knew Mr. O'Daugherty in connection with her

work on the National Endowment, and he was the Director of the Media Arts

Program (R. 341). Morris had told her that she could see anyone she wanted,

as long as she was discreet (R. 578), and her flight to Washington was
booked

under the name of Better Foster (R. 576). Maureene and O'Daugherty had

dinner together on the night of March 4th, and returned to her hotel room
(R.

578). When they were in bed together, Morris and a Montgomery private

detective, both of whom had been hiding in the bathroom, jumped out and

started taking photographs, Morris said word in substance as follows:

"Alright sister, you wanted a divorce. Now I want one, because I've

got you where I want you." (R. 586)

Morris was acting crazy, and Maureene thought he was going to kill

everybody in sight. He told her that he had five detectives with him (R.

592). He hit her and gave her a busted jaw. (R. 592). He then started

writing something on paper which he then gave her to sign (R. 422-423).
This

document, entered unto evidence as Plaintiff's Exhibit 43, was a spearation

agreement (R. 423). The agreement provided that Morris was to have custody

of Ellie, the parties' nine-year old daughter. Maureene was to receive

"25,000 alimony-in-gross upon the "execution" (sic) of a divorce, and that
in

addition she was to receive $1,500 per month as alimony for a period of
three

years from the divorce. Under this agreement, Maureene relinquished all

claims to any real estate owned by Morris, and agreed to return to him the

diamond ring which he had given to her. The agreement recites that,
although

it is execute on March 5th in Washington, D.C., it will be notarized by an

Alabama notary (the detective) and shall be governed by the laws of
Alabama.

Maureene signed the agreement because she was afriad not to (R. 423).

After returning to Montgomery, Morris asked attorney Paul Lawrey to

handle the divorce based upon the hotel room agreement (R. 412). Although
he

knew that Maureene was already represented by Maury Smith, Morris
instructed

her to go to Paul Lowery's office for this purpose (R. 427). She declined
to

do this, and later Paul Lowery came to the house where Maureene was
staying,

with papers for her to sign, but she refused to do so (R. 428-429).

Apparently in a last effort to induce a settlement with Maureene, Morris

later told her that he was sorry he had the photograph taken in the hotel

room, that he should not have taken them, and that he wanted her to have
them

(R. 426). He gave them to her with instructions to destroy them, telling
her

that these were the only copies (R. 426). He also gave the original signed

copy of the hotel room agreement. She tore up both envelopes without
looking

inside (R. 426). Morris' statement that these were the only copies of the

photographs was another lie, since he introduced the photographs into

evidence at the trial.

H Morris' Sexual Appetite

Maureene was literally force to file suit for divorce in

March, 1979, because of Morris' obstinate refusal to give up his

mistress who he was then supporting and who had become pregnant by

him. However, Maureene did not give up her marriage easily. Prior

to Morris' permanent involvement with the McGaha woman, Maureene had

endured a long series of degrading incidents which evidenced Morris'

voracious and eclectic sexual appetite. Since early in their

marriage, Morris repeatedly bragged to Maureene that with his looks

and his money he could have any woman he wanted, and he constantly

bragged about women propositioning him (R. 350, et seq). [Some

insight into the size of Morris' ego is provided by his letter of

January 22, 1979, to "Ham" Jordan (a copy of which he sent to

Vicki)m in which he makes application to be appointed Attorney

General of the United States to replace Griffin Bell, giving as one

of his principal qualifications the fact that "... all my life, I

have been a winner." (Pl. Ex. 91). Later in the marriage he

repeatedly told her of women that he had had sexual intercourse with

during the marriage (R. 354). He said further that he enjoyed

trying to turn on gay people and he expressed a desire to have an

experience with a gay (R. 354). Early in the larriage, Morris gave

her a book on "Open Marriage" and started encouraging her to have

sexual intercourse with other men (R. 419-420). During the year or

so after they were married, Maureene became aware that her husband

was having an affair with a woman name Becky Logan (R. 458). During

the same period, she began receiving anonymous telephone calls

concerning her husband and a black woman in town (R. 459).

A. Dianne Hicks. In his deposition, Morris admits that in

the spring of 1973 (Morris depo. p. 27), or during the summer of

1973 (Morris depo. p. 25), he had an affair with Dianne Hicks, a

Mobile lawyer who was working for the Southern Poverty Law Center

(Morris depo. p. 25). He had sex with her during a canoe trip down

the Tallapoosa River (Morris depo. p.25), and also in Brewton where

they were working together on a trial (Morris depo. p. 26-27).

B. Cathy Bennett. in the fall of 1974, Morris brought to

the family home in Mathews a girl named Cathy Bennett who was a

psychologist who had worked with Morris on several cases (R. 284).

She stayed in their home in Mathews for about a week, during which

time theu had Bobby Kennedy there as a guest (R. 285). Maureene was

suspicious of her husband's relationship with this girl (R. 286),

and later Morris admitted having an affair with her (R. 1325).

Morris told Mrs. Dees that his affair with her was over in December,

1974, But she later found that he and Cathy continued to conduct an

affair in Atlanta where Morris lived for a period during the Jimmy

Carter campaign (R. 287, 291).

C. Judith Rogers. in the fall of 1977 (R. 1344), Morris

and Maureene held a Little Theatre party at their home, attended by

Dr. Rogers, a Montgomery physician, and his wife Judith, who is a

criminal psychologist (R. 292, 1344, 1345). During the party Morris

admits that he took Judith into a back room of his house, while the

party was going on, and had intercourse with her (R. 1344, 293).

D. Deborah Levy. In the spring of 1976, Morris invited to

the house Deborah Levy who worked for the American Civil Liberties

Union in New York, and the man with whome she lived in New York,

Michael Gaas (R. 299, 303). The Southern Poverty Law Center was

considering starting a magazine in opposition to the death penalty,

and Morris was interviewing Deborah Levy for the job of running the

magazine (R. 301). She was not hired for the job, but she nad her

boyfriend did visit the Dees home in Mathews for several days on two

different occasions (R. 301). in August, 1976, Morris and Maureene

took them on a canoe trip down the river (R. 202-203). After

supper, they had all gone to bed in sleeping bags, when Maureene

woke up and found Morris and Deborah naked, having sex on the

sandbar (R. 306). Morris turned to Maureene and insisted that she

have sex with the other man. (R. 306). Later Maureene went back to

sleep and woke up shortly before dawn, and found Morris and Deborah

having intercourse again right next to her (R. 307). While having

intercourse with Deborah, Morris leaned over and kissed Maureene (R.

308). The next morning Maureene objected strongly to the night's

events and stated emphatically that she did not want anything of

that nature to happen again (R. 309). The following month, in

September, 1976, she and Morris went to New York for a tennis

tournament and to take one of the children to a special school in

Boston (R. 310). Over Maureene's objections, Morris insisted upon

visiting Deborah Levy and Michael Gaas (R. 310). While the group

was having dinner together in a restaurant Maureene, returning from

the restroom, overheard Morris and Deborah making plans to together

the following afternoon (R. 315). Later when confronted with this

Morris admitted having such plans (R. 320). Later in a conversation

among the four of them, Morris stopped the conversation in the

middle and said to Michael Gaas "I've just got to tell you this

because I feel bad about it. I want to tell you that Deborah and I

were planning to go off this afternoon and make love and I just want

to tell you that." (R. 322). This embarassed Maureene and made her

furious (R. 324). Gas responded that if that's what Morris as here

to do he should just get up and go do it, following which Morris and

Deborah got up and went into the nedroom where they remained for

about forty-five minutes (R. 325, et seq). While they were gone

Maureene had sexual intercourse with Michael (R. 326). Afterward

Morris left the apartment, returned in about thirty minutes and hit

Michael in the face (R. 327).

E. Pamela Horowitz. In the spring of 1977 Morris planned a

trip to Kentucky and invited Maureene to go with him, knowing that

she could not go becuase she was in rehearsal for a play (R. 330).

Over Maureene's objection, he took with him, on his motorcycle

Pamela Horowitz, a lawyer working for the Southern Poverty Law

Center at that time (R. 331). He drove the motorcycle and she rode

behind him from Montgomery to Kentucky, and they were gone for four

or five days, during which they shared the same hotel accomodations

(R. 331-332).

F. Charlie Springman (homosexual). On August 11, 1978,

Maureene and Morris' tenth anniversary, they were having dinner at

the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C., and afterward had drinks in

the bar (R. 333, et seq). In the bar, they saw Charlie Springman,

who Maureene knew as a Regional Coordinator for the National

Endownment of the Arts (R. 335). She had told Morris that Springman

was gay, but Morris had never met him. When they saw him in the

bar, Morris suggested inviting him over for a drink (R. 335). After

a while, to Maureene's surprise, Morris suggested that Charlie come

up to the room with them (R. 336). In the room, they drank wine and

talked, and Morris unbuttoned his shirt to the waist (R. 336).

Charlie tried to leave several times but Morris wouldn't let him (R.

337). Finally Morris proposed that Charlie spend the night with

them (R. 337). Mrs. Dees protested, and put on her robe and

nightgown to go to bed (R. 337-338). Soon Charlie and Morris were

in the bed naked, with Maureene in the middle with her gown on (R.

338-339). Springman and Morris hugged and kissed, and Morris tried

to get Charlie to have relations with Maureene, but Springman was

physically unable to because he was not interested (R. 340). in

fact, no one make any effort to have sex with Mrs. Dees during this

incident (R. 341). Springman kissed Morris' penis, and in fact,

Morris complained that he bit him and that it hurt (R. 340). Morris

kissed Springman on Springman's penis (R. 341). After about thirty

minutes they all went to sleep (R. 342). When Maureene woke up the

next morning, Morris was gone (R. 342), but Springman was still

asleep in the bed. After five or ten minutes Morris returned and

found Maureene crying. He apologized for the incident and said that

he would not let anything like that happen again (R. 343). Morris

denies parts of this episode, he admits its essential features:

Morris admits that he invited Springman to the room (R. 1571); that

Maureene put on a nightgown and robe and got into bed (R. 1537);

that Morris got into bed with nothing but his underclothes on (R.

1575); and that Springman got into the bed naked (R. 1590).

G. Morris' Step-Daughter. Holly Buck, Maureene's daughter

by a previous marriage, is eighteen years old (R. 728). She was

seven years old when her mother and Morris married, and she has

lived with them in the house at Mathews from then until the

separation (R. 728). Holly testified that, in the summer of 1977,

Morris attempted to molest her in the following incident (R. 729):

One night Maureene and Morris were sitting drinking wine and

discussing a case Morris was trying. She was with them. Around

eleven or twelve o'clock Maureene went to bed and Holly stayed up

with Morris discussing the case. Morris kept offering Holly wine,

some of which she accepted. At Morris' suggestion, they went

outside to the pool, and he suggested that they go for a swim, but

Holly was tired and declined (R. 731). She went to her room and

then went into the bathroom. Looking out the window, she saw Morris

in the bushes beside the bathroom window looking in (R. 731). She

said "Morris, is that you", but he said nothing and ran away (R.

732). Two months later, she was asleep one night and Morris entered

her room from Ellie's room, through the bathroom. he was in his

underwear and he sat on the bed where Holly was lying on her stomach

facing away from the door. He touched her on the back and woke her

up. He told her that he had brough her a present, and he presented

her with a vibrator. He plugged it in and said he had brought it to

her. He proceeded to rub it on her back and said, "Let me show you

how to use it" (R. 733). She said that's not necessary, but he

started to place it between her legs when she raised he voice and

said no loudly. He then took the vibrator and left (R. 734). All

he had on was a pair of bikini underwear shorts (R. 734). About two

hours later, she had fallen back asleep and he came back in (R.

735). He brought the vibrator with him, plugged it in and said

again, "Let me show you how to use it." He tried to show her again

by putting it between her legs, but she raised her voice again and

he stopped. He took it and left (R. 635). She did not tell her

mother about this incident until the separation when they moved out

of the Mathews house in the spring of 1979 (R. 736).

H. Morris' Future Daughter-in-law. Karen Sherman Dees is

Morris' daughter-in-law, who is married to Morris' son Scooter

(Morris, III) (R. 345). Before Karen and Scooter were married, when

they were eighteen or nineteen, which was three or four years ago,

an incident occurred on Mother's Day at the family home in Mathews

(R. 345). The Dees had Karen and Scooter to dinner at the house,

and they cooked out (R. 346). While Scooter and Maureene were

cleaning up and washing dishes, Karen and Morris went out to go

swimming (R. 345). Five or ten minutes later, Maureene and Scooter

started down the path toward the pool, with Maureene in front. As

she approached the gate, she could see Morris and Karen standing

with their arms around each other with no clothes on, and Morris had

an erection. Maureene immediately turned and told Scooter that she

did not want to go swimming and the two of them headed back to the

house without Scooter having seen anything (R. 347). Later, Karen

and Morris returned from the pool, fully dressed, and the group

stayed in the den for a little while (R. 349). Morris got up and

went to bed, and Maureene joined him a few minutes later. While

lying in the bed, Maureene looked up and saw that Karen had entered

the room (R. 349). She didn't have any clothes on but had a towel

or sheet wrapped around her (R. 350). She came over and got in the

bed on Morris' side (R. 350). Nothing happened, but she remained

there for about ten minutes, and eventually got up and left

(R.350-351). Morris told Maureene that he just couldn't understand

why she came in the room (R. 351).

In 1974 and 1976, after Maureene had become aware of some of

Morris' infidelities, she had two brief sexual liasons; one with

Charles Morgan, with whom she was co-starring in a Little Theatre

production, and the other with Steve Denton, who was visiting in

Montgomery for a tennis tournament.

The Truth About "Martin Luther King Jr."

WHEN THE COMMUNISTS TOOK OVER a country, one of the first things that
they did was to confiscate all the privately-held weapons, to deny the
people the physical ability to resist tyranny. But even more insidious
than the theft of the people's weapons was the theft of their history.
Official Communist "historians" rewrote history to fit the current
party line. In many countries, revered national heroes were excised
from the history books, or their real deeds were distorted to fit
Communist ideology, and Communist killers and criminals were converted
into official "saints." Holidays were declared in honor of the beasts
who murdered countless nations.

Did you know that much the same process has occurred right here in
America? Every January, the media go into a kind of almost spastic
frenzy of adulation for the so-called "Reverend Doctor Martin Luther
King, Jr." King has even had a national holiday declared in his honor,
an honor accorded to no other American, not Washington, not Jefferson,
not Lincoln. (Washington and Lincoln no longer have holidays -- they
share the generic-sounding "President's Day.") A liberal judge has
sealed the FBI files on King until the year 2027. What are they
hiding? Let's take a look at this modern-day plastic god.

Born in 1929, King was the son of a Black preacher known at the time
only as "Daddy King." "Daddy King" named his son Michael. In 1935,
"Daddy King" had an inspiration to name himself after the Protestant
reformer Martin Luther. He declared to his congregation that
henceforth they were to refer to him as "Martin Luther King" and to
his son as "Martin Luther King, Jr." None of this name changing was
ever legalized in court. "Daddy" King's son's real name is to this day
Michael King.

King's Brazen Cheating.

We read in Michael Hoffman's "Holiday for a Cheater": The first public
sermon that King ever gave, in 1947 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church,
was plagiarized from a homily by Protestant clergyman Harry Emerson
Fosdick entitled "Life is What You Make It," according to the
testimony of King's best friend of that time, Reverend Larry H.
Williams. The first book that King wrote, "Stride Toward Freedom,
--was plagiarized from numerous sources, all unattributed, according
to documentation recently assembled by sympathetic King scholars Keith
D. Miller, Ira G. Zepp, Jr., and David J. Garrow. And no less an
authoritative source than the four senior editors of "The Papers of
Martin Luther King, Jr.-- (an official publication of the Martin
Luther King Center for Nonviolent Social Change, Inc., whose staff
includes King's widow Coretta), stated of King's writings at both
Boston University and Crozer Theological Seminary: "Judged
retroactively by the standards of academic scholarship, [his writings]
are tragically flawed by numerous instances of plagiarism....
Appropriated passages are particularly evident in his writings in his
major field of graduate study, systematic theology." King's essay,
"The Place of Reason and Experience in Finding God," written at
Crozer, pirated passages from the work of theologian Edgar S.
Brightman, author of "The Finding of God--. Another of King's theses,
"Contemporary Continental Theology," written shortly after he entered
Boston University, was largely stolen from a book by Walter Marshall
Horton. King's doctoral dissertation, "A Comparison of the Conceptions
of God in the Thinking of Paul Tillich and Harry Nelson Wieman," for
which he was awarded a PhD in theology, contains more than fifty
complete sentences plagiarized from the PhD dissertation of Dr. Jack
Boozer, "The Place of Reason in Paul Tillich's Concept of God."
According to "The Martin Luther King Papers", in King's dissertation
"only 49 per cent of sentences in the section on Tillich contain five
or more words that were King's own...."! In "The Journal of American
History", June 1991, page 87, David J. Garrow, a leftist academic who
is sympathetic to King, says that King's wife, Coretta Scott King, who
also served as his secretary, was an accomplice in his repeated
cheating. Reading Garrow's article, one is led to the inescapable
conclusion that King cheated because he had chosen for himself a
political role in which a PhD would be useful, and, lacking the
intellectual ability to obtain the title fairly, went after it by any
means necessary. Why, then, one might ask, did the professors at
Crozer Theological Seminary and Boston University grant him passing
grades and a PhD? Garrow states on page 89: "King's academic
compositions, especially at Boston University, were almost without
exception little more than summary descriptions ... and comparisons of
other's writings. Nonetheless, the papers almost always received
desirable letter grades, strongly suggesting that King's professors
did not expect more...." The editors of "The Martin Luther King Jr.
Papers" state that "...the failure of King's teachers to notice his
pattern of textual appropriation is somewhat remarkable....

" But researcher Michael Hoffman tells us "...actually the malfeasance
of the professors is not at all remarkable.King was politically
correct, he was Black, and he had ambitions. The leftist [professors
were] happy to award a doctorate to such a candidate no matter how
much fraud was involved. Nor is it any wonder that it has taken forty
years for the truth about King's record of nearly constant
intellectual piracy to be made public.

" Supposed scholars, who in reality shared King's vision of a racially
mixed and Marxist America, purposely covered up his cheating for
decades. The cover-up still continues. From the "New York Times" of
October 11, 1991, page 15, we learn that on October 10th of that year,
a committee of researchers at Boston University admitted that, "There
is no question but that Dr. King plagiarized in the dissertation."
However, despite its finding, the committee said that "No thought
should be given to the revocation of Dr. King's doctoral degree," an
action the panel said "would serve no purpose." No purpose, indeed!
Justice demands that, in light of his willful fraud as a student, the
"reverend" and the "doctor" should be removed from King's name.

Communist Beliefs and Connections

Well friends, he is not a legitimate reverend, he is not a bona fide
PhD, and his name isn't really "Martin Luther King, Jr." What's left?
Just a sexual degenerate, an America-hating Communist, and a criminal
betrayer of even the interests of his own people.

On Labor Day, 1957, a special meeting was attended by Martin Luther
King and four others at a strange institution called the Highlander
Folk School in Monteagle, Tennessee. The Highlander Folk School was a
Communist front, having been founded by Myles Horton (Communist Party
organizer for Tennessee) and Don West (Communist Party organizer for
North Carolina). The leaders of this meeting with King were the -
aforementioned Horton and West, along with Abner Berry and James
Dumbrowski, all open and acknowledged members of the Communist Party,
USA. The agenda of the meeting was a plan to tour the Southern states
to initiate demonstrations and riots.

From 1955 to 1960, Martin Luther King's associate, advisor, and personal
secretary was one Bayard Rustin. In 1936 Rustin joined the Young Communist
League at New York City College. Convicted of draft-dodging, he went to
prison for two years in 1944. On January 23, 1953 the "Los Angeles Times"
reported his conviction and sentencing to jail for 60 days for lewd
vagrancy and homosexual perversion. Rustin attended the 16th Convention of
the Communist Party, USA in February, 1957. One month later, he and King
founded the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, or SCLC for short.
The president of the SCLC was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The
vice-president of the SCLC was the Reverend Fred Shuttlesworth, who was
also the president of an identified Communist front known as the Southern
Conference Educational Fund, an organization whose field director, a Mr.
Carl Braden, was simultaneously a national sponsor of the Fair Play for
Cuba Committee, of which you may have heard. The program director of the
SCLC was the Reverend Andrew Young, in more recent years Jimmy Carter's
ambassador to the UN and mayor of Atlanta. Young, by the way, was trained
at the Highlander Folk School, previously mentioned.

Soon after returning from a trip to Moscow in 1958, Rustin organized the
first of King's famous marches on Washington. The official organ of the
Communist Party, "The Worker,-- openly declared the march to be a Communist
project. Although he left King's employ as secretary in 1961, Rustin was
called upon by King to be second in command of the much larger march on
Washington which took place on August 28, 1964.

Bayard Rustin's replacement in 1961 as secretary and advisor to King was
Jack O'Dell, also known as Hunter Pitts O'Dell. According to official
records, in 1962 Jack O'Dell was a member of the National Committee of the
Communist Party, USA. He had been listed as a Communist Party member as
early as 1956. O'Dell was also given the job of acting executive director
for SCLC activities for the entire Southeast, according to the St. Louis
"Globe-Democrat --of October 26, 1962. At that time, there were still some
patriots in the press corps, and word of O'Dell's party membership became
known.

What did King do?

Shortly after the negative news reports, King fired O'Dell with much
fanfare. And he then, without the fanfare, immediately hired him again-- as
director of the New York office of the SCLC, as confirmed by the "Richmond
News-Leader --of September 27, 1963. In 1963 a Black man from Monroe, North
Carolina named Robert Williams made a trip to Peking, China. Exactly 20
days before King's 1964 march on Washington, Williams successfully urged
Mao Tse-Tung to speak out on behalf of King's movement. Mr. Williams was
also around this time maintaining his primary residence in Cuba, from which
he made regular broadcasts to the southern US, three times a week, from
high-power AM transmitters in Havana under the title "Radio Free Dixie." In
these broadcasts, he urged violent attacks by Blacks against White
Americans.

During this period, Williams wrote a book entitled "Negroes With Guns." The
writer of the foreword for this book? None other than Martin Luther King,
Jr. It is also interesting to note that the editors and publishers of this
book were to a man all supporters of the infamous Fair Play for Cuba
Committee.

According to King's biographer and sympathizer David J. Garrow, "King
privately described himself as a Marxist." In his 1981 book, "The FBI and
Martin Luther King, Jr.", Garrow quotes King as saying in SCLC staff
meetings, "...we have moved into a new era, which must be an era of
revolution.... The whole structure of American life must be changed.... We
are engaged in the class struggle.

" Jewish Communist Stanley Levison can best be described as King's
behind-the-scenes "handler." Levison, who had for years been in charge of
the secret funnelling of Soviet funds to the Communist Party, USA, was
King's mentor and was actually the brains behind many of King's more
successful ploys. It was Levison who edited King's book, "Stride Toward
Freedom." It was Levison who arranged for a publisher. Levison even
prepared King's income tax returns! It was Levison who really controlled
the fund-raising and agitation activities of the SCLC. Levison wrote many
of King's speeches. King described Levison as one of his "closest friends.

FBI: King Bought Sex With SCLC Money

The Federal Bureau of Investigation had for many years been aware of
Stanley Levison's Communist activities. It was Levison's close association
with King that brought about the initial FBI interest in King.Lest you be
tempted to believe the controlled media's lie about "racists" in the FBI
being out to "get" King, you should be aware that the man most responsible
for the FBI's probe of King was Assistant Director William C. Sullivan.
Sullivan describes himself as a liberal, and says that initially "I was one
hundred per cent for King...because I saw him as an effective and badly
needed leader for the Black people in their desire for civil rights." The
probe of King not only confirmed their suspicions about King's Communist
beliefs and associations, but it also revealed King to be a despicable
hypocrite, an immoral degenerate, and a worthless charlatan.

According to Assistant Director Sullivan, who had direct access to the
surveillance files on King which are denied the American people, King had
embezzled or misapplied substantial amounts of money contributed to the
"civil rights" movement. King used SCLC funds to pay for liquor, and
numerous prostitutes both Black and White, who were brought to his hotel
rooms, often two at a time, for drunken sex parties which sometimes lasted
for several days. These types of activities were the norm for King's
speaking and organizing tours.

In fact, an outfit called The National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis,
Tennessee, which is putting on display the two bedrooms from the Lorraine
Motel where King stayed the night before he was shot, has declined to
depict in any way the "occupants" --of those rooms. That according to
exhibit designer Gerard Eisterhold "would be "close to blasphemy." The
reason? Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. spent his last night on Earth having
sex with two women at the motel and physically beating and abusing a third.

Sullivan also stated that King had alienated the affections of numerous
married women. According to Sullivan, who in 30 years with the Bureau had
seen everything there was to be seen of the seamy side of life, King was
one of only seven people he had ever encountered who was such a total
degenerate.

Noting the violence that almost invariably attended King's supposedly
"non-violent" marches, Sullivan's probe revealed a very different King from
the carefully crafted public image. King welcomed members of many different
Black groups as members of his SCLC, many of them advocates and
practitioners of violence. King's only admonition on the subject was that
they should embrace "tactical nonviolence."

Sullivan also relates an incident in which King met in a financial
conference with Communist Party representatives, not knowing that one of
the participants was an infiltrator actually working for the FBI. J. Edgar
Hoover personally saw to it that documented information on King's Communist
connections was provided to the President and to Congress. And conclusive
information from FBI files was also provided to major newspapers and news
wire services. But were the American people informed of King's real nature?
No, for even in the 1960s, the fix was in"the controlled media and the
bought politicians were bound and determined to push their racial mixing
program on America. King was their man and nothing was going to get in
their way. With a few minor exceptions, these facts have been kept from the
American people. The pro-King propaganda machine grinds on, and it is even
reported that a serious proposal has been made to add some of King's
writings as a new book in the Bible.

Ladies and gentlemen, the purpose of this radio program is far greater than
to prove to you the immorality and subversion of this man called King. I
want you to start to think for yourselves. I want you to consider this:
What are the forces and motivation behind the controlled media's active
promotion of King? What does it tell you about our politicians when you see
them, almost without exception, falling all over themselves to honor King
as a national hero? What does it tell you about our society when any public
criticism of this moral leper and Communist functionary is considered
grounds for dismissal? What does it tell you about the controlled media
when you see how they have successfully suppressed the truth and held out a
picture of King that can only be described as a colossal lie? You need to
think, my fellow Americans. You desperately need to wake up.

I am an American Christian (Catholic) of Polish ancestors. All American
Christians do not have hatred of Jews or believe in that ritual murder crap.

So, in reverse, can you write that there is SOME American Christian Hatred (or
